I filled out an application on indeed.com. I was contacted and did two interviews. I was sent the new hire packet and was asked for bank statements and log information on the last packet.

I got a text message on Wednesday Nov. 8. 2023 from a Micheal Harrison from Nomi Health, telling me that my resume had been selected to undergo an interview with the hiring manager for purchasing manager. And you are required to kindly respond with a "yes" to confirm your interest in proceedings with the job details and interview. So, i responded with "yes". Micheal said that the pay is $9,790 per month and $8,092 for first month. This is strictly an online work from home job, will you have any issues working from home? I feel it's a little strange about messages. So I searched online about this phone number (410) 934-2153and find out it's scam. I just blocked the phone number right away.

They sent me a note and cashiers check. I thought this was a real offer and was going to cash it. I had 2 strokes a few years ago so I don't understand this stuff. I asked my significant other and she looked over it and told me it was a scam.

I applied to a job on indeed. Company name listed there was Glade Energy Inc. In the email they called it Glade. Received this email response this afternoon. Quick search brought me straight to a report left here with the same okopio name.

They posted a work from home job advertisement on indeed.com. I received an email from Jeff Helm with the good news that I was selected to be interviewed and was given instructions to contact Mrs. Bella Okopio the hiring manager by using the Signal Messaging app. They asked a few benign questions and shared job and wage details but promptly stopped chatting after I said I would not share the name of my bank and that I would rather open a new account at a bank that would be compatible with theirs after I was hired. After waiting ten minutes for a reply I told them to withdraw my application and blocked the number from my phone. I did a google maps search for their business using the address from their website and it showed a very small building next to a trailer park and dollar store in Florida. Wish I would have thought to do that first!

After applying on Indeed I was asked to complete the next step which was a personality survey through WorkWolf. Dave Sechler from IMI Integrated messaged me the next step which was:

Not being totally familiar with current hiring methods I downloaded the app and texted with Bella about the position. After a few minutes was told I got the job but the communication was lacking specifics and did

not seem like a professional way to hire at all. I have not heard from them since and did report the job on Indeed.

They sent me a check stating that I’d be shopping to get sick children toys and clothes etc. the check is 3,876.26 and is put in your name and adress.

I applied for a remote job and was contacted to set up an interview with a Mrs. Bella Okopio, via email from Jeff.

The instructions were to contact “her” through signal to set up an interview. It was quick and vague and I was told I scored an 8.9 out of 10 (on what though) it seemed fishy so i waited for the other shoe to drop. When they said they’d send me a check to purchase the products (computer, printer etc.) I had fallen for a similar scam before. Never again. Watch out! They also seemed very unprofessional and did not answer my questions.

I was emailed about a job offer and to connect through teams chat. At the end of the chat Arnold Duncan said that they would send me a check in the mail for all equipment and software I purchase for working for them. I told him that I don’t have the money and told me to come back into the teams chat box the next morning the check in.

They emailed me requesting my bookkeeping services in order to take care of weekly payment for some subcontractors. Then asked me to spend in some office supplies like blank checks, printer, etc. then every Friday they/he email me a list of subcontractors with their names, phish al address as well as a bank info to create the checks, print them and mail them with tracking numbers. So far I’ve paid more than 10k to those pretending subcontractors and I haven’t received any money for my work. Almost all subcontractors address and banks info do really exist so Ive could proceed to print and mail the checks but the one to pay to me has been rejected for my bank. So ha made me believe that he/she/they’re using my services to laundry money at my own expenses.

I received a text message regarding a data entry job paying 25 dollars and hour which I did not recall applying for. The message asked me to join a Teams Link for an interview with a Tommy Seth Hiring manager after searching this person on LinkedIn the profile that came up was a profile that had sent me a connection request a few days prior and certainly not a hiring manager or any company I applied to.

I was offered a job by Leibaleads LLC on 9-28-23, I complete my 30 probation period and when it was time to get paid I never received payment and have been unable to contact anyone from the company. I have emailed, called, even try contact them through their website all unsuccessful. I was too be paid $3000.00 on 10-28-23.

Exact same thing as the other person who experienced this. Saw a job poster in my college, unsure about why my college allowed this scam job to be posted. Sent them an email. Scammer first texted me using a fake phone number, then asked for an interview using Skype. Scammer texted very strangely, like a robot. I thought it would be a phone/video call, but the interview was purely texts, and the scammer sometimes repeated questions that was already asked before. In the end, I got the job. Was asked to purchase some stuff, searched them up and was confused because I couldn't exactly find them online. I told them this, and they said don't worry, ask [email protected] for the materials, they will let you know the cost and send them to you with your name customized on them. Now I will block them. Please protect yourselves guys.

They pretend they are an advertisement company. They get you to do ‘tasks’ and then you get $,84.00 but to continue working for them, you have to ‘top up’ your account to $110.00. Obviously this makes no sense., but imagine how many people fall for this. There is also another company doing this trying to portray that they are working for Bookings website. And you’re supposed to do fake reviews. These people are so sick. I hope you can shut them down..

They first contacted through an online WhatsApp message offering a job. They provided link to login and job required making some deposits and completing tasks. after completing the task, all deposits plus commission can be withdrawn. It continued for a few weeks until I sinked so much money but could not withdraw any money eventually. They have whatsapp group of 22 people of mostly ontario numbers but could be same one or few people.
