I work as a graphic designer and they gave me work of creating logo templates for different businesses. I had four days to complete the work of ten logo's and get paid 3,500 dollars. I completed the work and then went to go get paided. When I did, they said I needed to pay 200 dollars in service fees, then another 300 for an ID card, and then 500 for a verification to go through with the ID card, then 1,000 to "receive" my payment, with them holding it over my head I would get reimbursed my money.

This company is a scam. They emailed me and said they had found my resume on Careerbuilders and that I was a good fit for a job they had. I emailed them my phone number to call me. Instead, they sent me two job offer letters - without interviewing me. They said they had an asset manager and an investment manager role and I could pick whichever role I wanted. At that point I called the number listed on their website and found that it is bogus. I did some research and found that there are three other companies listed at their Canada address. I also believe they are the same scammers behind Gux- it; a company that scammed a woman in 2019. When I asked for their office number to call them they they got nasty.

I applied to a job on Indeed, and was reached out to by someone who claimed to be Allen ****** with Tipping Points Technology Ltd for an invitation for an interview. I was to download Signal Messenger app and reach out to "Angela *********." I became suspicious when I did not see either person on Indeed or any other job site, and no employee reviews. In addition "Angela" sent me a weird website https://www.tippingpointstechnologyltd.com

Allen's email : dc7+job+d4f4528dbb3fadc414c185c6************[email protected] which tipped me off too. This website describes exactly what happened to me, but I stopped after only introduction, unfortunately they have my name email and phone #

I received a text offering a job (I’m looking). They told me to download an app called Signal to start the application process. After a lengthy back and forth text thread, they offered me the job. Then later asked me to set up my banking app so that I could be sent money to set up a home office.

I had basically the same experience as the other person who's reported this email address so far, except for me the position was posted on indeed.com rather than ziprecruiter. I applied to a position posted by "Holloway Consulting Group," this position was marked as closed on indeed, and AFTER it had been marked as closed, I received an email from [email protected]. In this email I was invited to an interview on the secure messaging app Signal. The interview was text-based; personally I didn't find this to be a red flag right off the bat because it's something I would prefer more companies do as I have anxiety around in person and phone interviews. Regardless, it was atypical at the very least and in hindsight may have been one of many warning signs.

In any case, Signal is an app I already used and trusted, so I went ahead and contacted the supposed hiring manager through the number given in the email. I immediately got a response and was given a text-based interview that consisted of six questions in three sections. I was then congratulated and told I had been hired, and to be available tomorrow at 9 AM.

The entire interaction just felt a bit off and I wasn't entirely sure if I had interacted with an A.I. or a human for the interview, so I did some digging. I found that, according to three different third-party tools, the domain of the "company website" I had been given in the interview was registered TODAY, may 30 2023, the same day as this interview took place. That alone was a huge red flag.

I then looked up the address listed on that website and found that it did indeed, according to Google Maps, belong to an office of a company called Infrastructure Solutions Group, however, Google Maps had a different website listed for them that was one letter off from the one I was given (infrasolutionsgroup vs. infrasolutionsgroups, with an "s"). I checked that domain via the same third party tools and was told it had been around a few years, and concluded this was probably the actual website for that company, and I had been contacted by someone attempting to impersonate them.

I'm not sure what the actual scam is supposed to be here, but it might have something to do with the fact that they were supposedly going to send me a "startup paycheck" in order to purchase supplies I would ostensibly need for the job. It's possible that if I showed up tomorrow at 9 as requested, they'd be using this pretense to try and get some kind of financial info from me they could use fraudulently.

I sent another message expressing these concerns and asking what assurances the supposed hiring manager could give me that this was a legitimate offer, and how they could explain the discrepancies I had noticed. It's been a couple hours with no response, while the response to my initial query was suspiciously instantaneous.

In conclusion, I believe Infrastructure Solutions Group is a real, legitimate company, and probably so is Holloway Consulting Group, though I'm not positive on the latter. What I was dealing with appeared to be a copycat scammer attempting to impersonate legitimate businesses. Bottom line: don't trust emails from "[email protected]."

I got an email of a job offer as a personal assistant from the company house of hope investment group what through me off at first was the pay was high and I had to do an internship process first, after they called for an interview which seemed like they weren’t interested, they asked for my location and skills, I still continued and then they made me sign a contract for the hiring process, after that I started the internship and I’m starting to think it’s just a scam because all they’ve done is give me tasks to do like put data on a spreadsheet, it seems legit but I get a feeling it’s a scam and might not get paid, I did give them my address which is what I’m worried about !

I responded to a job opportunity on Linkedin. An individual named Heather Pantalone from Drill Fever reached out to me about the job position and the organization. In the email she stated that she is super busy executive who is always traveling and cannot promptly reply to emails. She also stated that she does a lot of charity work and that at the present moment she was in Hawaii. I responded to her first email in a professional manner and I asked to schedule an interview. Several days later she emailed me that I was hired for the position and that she needed me to answer additional questions. I did not answer the questions, but simply stated that once we had a virtual interview I would respond to any questions. The next email I received she stated that she had mailed me a check in the amount of $2,850.00 dollars to be deposited into my bank account and that instructions on my first tasks (primarily handling payroll) will be sent to me shortly thereafter. I once again responded that I will not be doing any tasks. Well the check arrived. The Payor is ATLANTIC SALES & SALVAGE INC located in East Brunswick, NJ and the Bank the check is written on is COLUMBIA BANK also in East Brunswick, NJ. I did not deposit it. One week later I received a second check identical to the first. I also have not deposited it.

I could not find the domain group listed in the email suffix. There is a Sage Title Group but no Sage Tittle Group.

I didn't notice the extra T in the email suffix, so I had replied to her thinking that she was a real potential client. She replied to my email with an attached image and and an attached pdf document. I did not open the image and the pdf document sent me to a website that my anti-virus software detected as malicious. I did not enter the web site.

They emailed me with a job offer, ive never had an interaction with them. But ive been looking for a job.

GrabJobs.com has job scams all over their website. They published a fake job listing for Remote.co and Remote.co is not currently hiring. The listing is a scammer trying to scam innocent job seekers. Grabjobs.com is not a reputable job search site and it poses a threat to job seekers.

They had me gather roughly 100-120 of their “candidates” on excel as an “internship”. They asked for my ID on the first day but I refused to give it to them mainly since they refused to have a virtual interview with me of any kind and I could not find any of the “employers” online. They had me communicate via Webex. Here is the profile photo of the scam account.
