Applied for a job in indeed and was contacted via skype and interview was done, but no video. The company went by Medifast and kept asking me to use my own money to buy a "time tracker". Then they sent me a cashiers check for $3,000.00 with a letter. neither had a company name or address on the check or letter. They would not stop in asking me to cash the check and show a deposit slip. I refused and requested to speak with someone and they refused to provide any contact information. When I requested an address to return the check to they would not provide me one. when I told them I would report them and destroy the check they began to threaten me and tell me I don't want to due that or it will cause problems. I tried to search the employer on indeed but the posting no longer is up. I requested several time for them to provide me with an address to send this check back to, but they keep saying for me to cash it.

After going through the hiring process, Carol Brooks c/o ITF KARLENE J PARSHALL, emailed me a check for $4500. On January 13, 2023, Bryan Denmark wanted me to send $2000 to Deborah Andrews through PayPal. I have not completed this payment.

The issue is I applied for a job online they sent me an offer letter and told be they would send me a check to purchase the equipment today I deposited the check into my account via the mobile app the check cleared immediately then the people advised me to zelle the so called vendor 1000 but my bank wouldn’t let it go through then they asked me to cash app 500.00 but didn’t provide the cash app info once I realized it was a scam I contact the guy Micheal Keith via Microsoft teams and told him I’m aware that this is a scam and he hung up and blocked me via Microsoft teams.

I was initially contacted by Sasha Drago about a Publicity Assistant position with the MCS Group. I believe they found my email from job search websites that I used to post my resume and profile. I first needed to fill out a google form application and then was automatically sent an employment agreement and verification letter. Sasha Drago then called me to discuss next steps. My first assignment included paying an "advertisement agency" in which the company would send me a check that I needed to deposit into my account to pay the company directly. After doing some research, I found that the email used to contact me is not affiliated with the MCS group, there is no record of Sasha Drago working for the MCS group, and there was no record of Mark Davis (who was indicated to be the COO of the MCS group on my employment agreement and verification letters, including a signature that looks fake). I have attached a zip file with copies of all correspondence to this report.

I applied through Indeed for a dog walker and sent my resume which has my home address. I was told to email [email protected] and she emailed me back. I looked up the website and saw this is a check cashing scam. https://www.procarepetsitting.com/

I applied for a project coordinator position and received an immediate text message to schedule an interview for the next day. This interview was scheduled for 15 minutes. I was immediately offered a second round interview for 830 AM the following day. This interview was going to be 15 minutes again, in person at an office. The office was strange and had no one at reception. I was immediately given the opportunity to say what I needed from a position and was given a counter offer with scale of work and growth starting as a sales person (called account executive). I asked about the job description and it was ignored to focus on the compensation and base pay claims. At the end of the interview I was told to reach out when I wanted to start and the position was open.

The position was not at all what advertised. The description of account executive to campaign manager was straight forward and implied for all positions offered.

After the interview, I did some more research and I could only find their vague website. There was not more than a mission and vision. I could not find any reviews or social media outside of Linked In and Facebook.

I was very disappointed by this rush interview process, after the job description sounded perfect.

I received a text saying to download the app ring in order to speak with the personel manager because of my resume. The interview was conducted via ring and through text. I was offered the job with job benefits for dental/vision and student loans/credit card debt payment benefits. They sent me the company’s account number and told me to pay off my debt then send a screen shot about the payment. When I did that he said he needed to see the account number in the screen shot and he asked what’s my available credit. He kept asking for my available credit and sent I should take a screen shot and send it to him for his personal records. I asked to speak with him on the phone. It took couple days but eventually he called me but the explanations he gave of why he was so quick to pay my credit debt and why he needed to see my available credit was not enough for me. I texted him the following day to say I’ve decided to take another job, I took screenshots of the text conversation, and I uninstalled the ring app. The job was for an at home position of administrative assistant and I would need to purchase equipments for my home office from places nearby or online.

Received a text message from Kaitlin Jensen, HR Representative, from 972-746-2374 asking me to email my resume to [email protected] as I had been chosen for a Data Entry Clerk position with AlfaGene Bioscience, Inc. After sending them my email, I received an email stating that I would need to complete a screening test before being able to move forward in the next steps of the hiring process. At approximately 0730 the next morning, I received an email and a text message stating that a decision regarding my employment had been made sooner than expected due to needing the position filled as soon as possible. This email included a Employment Offer Letter that I needed to sign and return so that I was able to begin employment 1/18/23. In this letter, it was stated that the company was going to send me a check to purchase equipment from a pre-approved vendor as the employees of AlfaGene were working remotely and were unable to order the equipment for me (first red flag). After "signing" and returning the offer letter, I was asked to provide basic information about myself (information that could be easily found if googled) and then the HR representative created a fake employee portal with the information I provided found at https://alfagenebioscience.org/employee/public/. The other big red flag I had noticed was that the individual emailing me and the websites provided all had a .org where the true AlfaGene Bioscience, Inc uses a .com.

After the Kaitlin set up the employee portal account, she asked that I create an account using Telegram - a messaging company with the ability to destroy messages after reading/reviewing them. I noticed that in this email Kaitlin's demeanor went from professional to sloppy while no longer ensuring that her signature block was included. At this time, I decided to respond back to Kaitlin that I had discovered that this was in fact a scam. Sad!

I was offered a job, and i signed a W4, provided a drivers license, and a passport. I took the check that they provided to my bank and had my bank look into the matter. The person in question was trying to get me to use my own funds to purchase equipment and which i did decline and did not proceed to give any of my bank information. I was not comfortable with doing so.

An online job for customer service receptionist / data entry was advertised for 25/hr. They conducted an interview and said i scored 95% with the answers i provided. They told me i needed to buy an apple card for 500$, said that it was needed for the time clock to be able to clock in and out. I was at first told everything i would need would be provided to me or paid for solely by the company, they promised to pay off a debt too. I was told that the company policies restrict them from using cash app or current for direct deposit so i had to create a bank account online. They took my personal information after telling me that i was hired, asked for my ID, and said that if soon be recieving a code, which came from a login.gov and the one time code said not to share with anyone, amd thats where i became skeptical but i gave them the code anyways, thinking i was just over thinking it. Well after all was said and done they were acting defensive after i called them out on the ridiculous request for a 500$ apple card. Ill include some pictures of the conversation.

They offered me a remote position as a Sr. Project Manager, with excellent pay, but I needed to do a certification in order to enter the process. Once I finished the certification, he hosted me and when I tried to call him, the number had changed.

They used my resume from the NEXXT job site to try to lure me in. They did the interview on signal.org. They emailed a check using the company Sharp Image Energy, Inc. I called this west Texas company personally and spoke to their accounts payable department. They confirmed my suspicions and I texted back the scammers letting them know I filed a complaint with you and the FBI. I forwarded all correspondence to the company whose name they used and had printing on the check, to which they replied “ Thanks for wasting my time “. Please note: Sharp Image Energy has nothing to do with this. They are the other intended victims. If you have any questions or need any further information please contact me at 321-505-1950 or [email protected]. Thank you.

I was contacted by Caroline Sivad to download the Telegram app. I thought this was odd, but interview processes change every day, so I tried it. I was exhausted from no sleep and before I realized it, they had access to all of my accounts. They deposited $4000 and wanted me to buy Apple Cards and Maylene Santos, "hiring manager" kept saying "this is not a scam" so I knew something was up. When I went to access my bank account, my account had been suspended and I no longer had access. They changed the password to my Facebook account and luckily, I was able to fix that. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
