I received an email stating that my resume was reviewed on the Employflorida platform and my experience qualifies me for an admirative assistant and Data entry position at the firm. I interviewed for a job through signal app though text messages . I did give my name, address and phone number. At the end of the interview the text read that I will receive a check to purchase a computer and software. Also that I was to report though the signal app on Monday morning 8 am with the accounting department to fill out I-9 form. I became apprehensive when at the end of the interview it was stated “ that a check would be issued me. The funds will be credited and available in your account for cash out within 1 – 2 business days. You are to purchase the working/training materials from any of the company’s certified vendors who we have been buying from for years now. I will be available to provide directives from the Accounting Department.” As soon as the check is issued to you, I will notify you and provide you with the tracking number. This way, you can keep track of the package once it’s in transit to know when it will get to you.

They offered a Data Entry job and everything went essentially normal interview wise and didn’t ask for money and stated they would send a check to buy equipment. Once the check arrived the company the check was from, and the person that sent it did not match the job nor the person I was speaking too. I called the company the check was from and was told their system was hacked the check was fraudulent.

Pretended to be a technical Recuiter (Dielle Kuffel) from Gitlab and a Sr. Product Manager (Gabe Weaver). Communication was done through Teams - all via text. I received an offer letter, background check information (requesting Social, DL, phone and address). I was later asked to purchase start up equipment that Gitlab will reimburse me. I received a call from Gabe via Teams and walked me thru what I needed to purchase from Apple Store (all top of the line products) totaling almost $11,000. He was persistent in getting screen shots of purchase and confirmation. RED FLAGS: Once I receive product, I was to send it to a programmer. Gabe on you tube did a presentation on Gitlab’s process and overview, Gabe on the phone had a Jamaican/African accent. Dielle also had an African accent.

I applied to this job as I am disabled I figured this would be perfect. After recieving something like 30 off packages and shipping them out I expected payment 6/20/23 as I was hired and signed contract to be paid monthly which is standard. I have printouts of all jobs I completed for this company. Now this morning the day after “payday” I can no longer access the site and have made several attempts to reach my “manager” with no response. This is a scam although I don’t see what their motivation is bc I would never give out direct deposit info to my back acct I used a PayPal acct with no linked access to my back acct. I plan of smearing this company so that people don’t get hooked like I did

I was contacted via text. The person said they got my info from jobsite Indeed.com. We spoke over the app Microsoft Teams, my contact George Freeman stated we could only communicate through that app. He said I was hired immediately and said he was sending me a third party check to purchase a laptop, printer and other office supplies through one of his vendors.

I received the check 6-21-2023 and was directed to immediately deposit it into my account via ATM only. I had the bank check the validity of the check and they stated it was a fraudulent check for many reasons.

The check is from a third party and the UPS envelope it came in had a return address of a different company.

They sent a text message and emails asking for my resume.

“Hello! My name is Elizabeth from DueNorth Oncology, Inc.(www.duenorthoncology.com). I'm reaching out to you in regards to your job application for the position of a remote data entry clerk. We are pleased to invite you to interview for this position. The rate of pay for this role will be $27 per hour. If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to my email address [email protected].

When they asked me to make telegram it was obvious that it’s a scam. But I’m really confused because when I checked the names of CEO and employers on LinkedIn they had +500 connections and looked so legit. They also had the website connected to their LinkedIn.

I was hired to resend packages filling in as a homebased warehouse for the company. I received packages from foreign (out of the United States) names and was directed to repackage items and send to other foreign names that had different addresses than what was agreed upon. My address was used and a family members name and email was compromised to receive a tablet. When I asked support to clarify what was going on I was shut out of the website and they have yet to respond to any of my concerns as well as pay me my money.

Had a regular interview then told me to call back the next day at eight to see if I got the job. Tell me I have a job didn’t take no information so I knew it was a red flag They went into straight talking about sending a check for equipment and let him know when I cash it and take 200 out for myself when I get it and use the rest for equipment so I knew from the jump it was a scam, so you’re gonna watch out for stuff like this.

They posted a job ad on LinkedIn for a Personal Assistant. Within 24hours they emailed a job offer, and requested a good phone number. Already seemed suspect, as the pay rate was almost $30 an hour, and the role was remote with a part time schedule if one chooses. I responded with a couple times I would be available, and they called outside those perametors. No voicemail was left, but they called multiple times. Address also seems fake, and there's no information on their website to prove they are an actual business.

Received a text message for a job offer. The company's name is DueNorth Oncology. They asked that I send them a copy of my resume, in which I did. They replied by email with the job description. I felt weird about it because employers don't normally text applicants about job openings. I researched the company on Google and there is no record that the company exists. The addresses listed were a home for sale and an empty lot in Canada. I "applied" on Friday and heard back on Tuesday. All of the names on the website are not real persons on LinkedIn. There was no phone call/interview, I answered some questions and filled out a form. They told me they wouldn't be able to coordinate shipping my equipment and so they would send a cheque which I would use to order from a company-approved vendor.

The main contact was Elizabeth Ammann.

Brannon contacts me with saying your resume was approved and should contact hiring manager named Jon Morris. Email interview process. After a day, they send me offer letter with w4 form.

Elizabeth Ammann sent me a text message stating she saw my application and requested I send my resume in; which I did. She sent me an email with more details about the position offered and stated if I was interested in the position, to complete the assessment and employee form; which I did.

I received an email from the company with a job offer and Elizabeth sent me a text message to follow up to make sure I received the email. I was only aware of the potential scam after looking up the company further for any reviews of any past or current employees and I came across this.
