I was contacted by Caroline Sivad to download the Telegram app. I thought this was odd, but interview processes change every day, so I tried it. I was exhausted from no sleep and before I realized it, they had access to all of my accounts. They deposited $4000 and wanted me to buy Apple Cards and Maylene Santos, "hiring manager" kept saying "this is not a scam" so I knew something was up. When I went to access my bank account, my account had been suspended and I no longer had access. They changed the password to my Facebook account and luckily, I was able to fix that. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

The company newgamingsolutions had contacted me by text message about a month ago and said they like my resume on indeed and had a position open and to email a lady named Betty Evans if I was interested. I emailed the Betty Evans and she emailed me back telling me about the job and the pay, I told her I was interested so then I received a phone call the next day from a foreign lady telling me I would be starting the following Monday and my manager would be Betty Evans, I then received an email from Betty Evans again asking me for name, email, phone number, address and then to take a picture of me holding my driver's license, she then sent me the contract to be printed out so I could read it and sign it after which I had to take a picture of it showing I signed it then I received another email once I showed I signed the contract and Betty Evans told me we would be communicating through Skype every day, so the following Monday I added her to Skype and that's how we stayed in contact, she would send me tasks I had to do everyday basically doing internet research for the company on companies to invest in and about cryptocurrency and blockchain stuff, then one task she wanted me to provide a different bank account because the one I provided wouldn't work for the task I needed to do, she wanted to put money in my bank account for me to withdraw and me pay their investor I quickly said no that if the account I gave didn't work then I wouldn't be doing it, Betty Evans then said it wasn't a required task so I then asked when I would be getting my paycheck as it states in the contract I'd be paid monthly, she tells me I'd be paid December 28th 2022 and I didn't receive it, I message her asking when I should expect my paycheck and thats when I started being ignored, I have emailed her, called and messaged several times and haven't received any response

Used the name Martijn Vermeeren. Reference themself as the hiring manager. Had me to complete hiring forms with my ss number and the hiring packet. Sent me a check in the mail for 4k to buy equipment. Was very skeptical about the check so I contact the bank and was informed it was fake. Realize I had been scammed but kind of already felt uncertain throughout the process. Never deposited the check because the amount was a red flag. I did my research prior because the company they’re using is a legit company but the scammers are not apart of the company. They’re using it to lie and scam innocent people.

I was looking for a new job. This person, Rodney Munson, emailed me about being his personal assistant. Sending money to the American Cancer Society and a local orphanage. He sent me a check and said to deposit in my bank account. I would have to wait until it cleared, usually 48 hours. Once it cleared, I was to use my debit card and go to nearest UPS or Fedex office and purchase 4 money orders in the amount of $1050 each. Not to sign them just send them out. I was not given an address of where to send them. That was questionable...then when I did get an address, it turned out to be a personal address of someone else....scam exposed

i was sleeping the other day, i used LinkedIn to find data entry jobs. Until In 8 in the morning i got a text message...from Arise Virtual Solutions INC. a guy name Anthony said he saw my Resume and wanted me to interview a woman name "Mrs Sydney Everett " and said they paid 28$/hr. First, i never sent a resume to Arise. Second, there's no 28$ pay to any Data entry jobs. Third, there's no woman name Sydney Everett in LinkedIn or in the actual company.
A guy name Anthony?

I was contacted by someone named Annie Bauer at 917-508-5278 about a remote job. I was told the main company was in Switzerland and they had their first company in New York and was opening a branch in Chicago near the O'hare airport. I completed 5 weeks of training and received weekly study matierials and took weekly tests for the company. I was supposed to get $2400 for the training after I completed the final test. My supervisor's name was Nicholas Westerman [email protected]. After I completed the final, I never heard from anyone in the company again. I reached out to Nicholas and Annie Bauer [email protected]. I reported them to the department of labor and was told that the company did not exist.

I was approached by gifts craft for a work from home employment via email. They said they got my information from my indeed resume. They offered salary of $45000/ year plus $20 for every package sent. They said they paid monthly and there was a 30 probationary period. I started receiving packages about a week after they “hired” me and instructions were to get a new shipping label when I received the package and send it UPS/USPS depending on the label. When my probation period ended I received an email stating I sent an empty package…and they take fraud seriously and I could be terminated without any compensation…the items I was sending weren’t cheap…I sent out multiple I phones…..a drone…$700 worth of bracelets and so on….I feel terrible after doing research but I hope my experience will help get these guys shut down or caught….

Personal assistant, for $29.00 an hour, a sketchy website, never asked for an interview, hired immediately, and on the first day of training they asked for drivers license. Sent an application that they wanted printed out and sent back.

I applied for a position with this company on indeed.com. Upon receiving more information, I noticed many grammatical errors in the job description (this usually indicates fraud). I replied by stating the errors made me skeptical, and was no longer interested. The "owner" of this company then proceeds to find my personal page on Instagram AND Facebook and messages me, defending the poor grammar. This seemed very sketchy and completely unprofessional, making me believe it was a scam instead of a real opportunity.

I found a job on Indeed identified as "Customer Representative" for Amirah Real Estate. The "recruiter" then reached out to me and asked me to set up a personal bank account with Bank of America and a business account with PNC Bank. Once they requested I begin the process to open an LLC, I researched more about the company and found it to be a scam. I am now attempting to close the two accounts and dissolve my LLC.

Received a check for $2950 in the mail with instructions to text a phone number with proof of deposit once I did the the person I texted then told me to send $1000 via Zelle to an account for the decal installation. I told them I would do that once I was sure the check would clear but eventually the check bounced I never sent any money.

Frank Elliot from Vytalize health Offered me a job, and I’m in need of a job. Then ran me through an entire job briefing and interview like a normal job, then sent me formal Position acceptance letters to fill out, sign and return. And all hiring paperwork to print off, fill out, and send back. Which I did. Then he changed up his story and asked for me to purchase the equipment from a vendor and he would reimburse me on my first pay check. It was like a little over $1,000. I told him I couldn’t do that. Then he told me today he was gonna send me a check in the mail which was the initial plan anyways. And now I’m realizing it all seems a bit odd. Back and forth. And I feel it’s odd. I told him that I’ll seek work elsewhere and he can keep his check he was trying to send me.

Initiated contact from someone named Mrs Amber Hooper "your resume has been reviewed on our Career Builder job board and you've been selected to interview for a position. Company name: Copel Energy and the pay is 2,000 weekly" Gave me a contact with [email protected] which ended up being Victor Romero, who works for the company, but his interview was nothing about job skills, they told me i would be sent a check to cover costs of equipment for an office space, then proceeded to tell me that I needed to Send money to a vendor in 1,000 dollar increments, using various different names, and numbers, and asking repeatedly if i'm able to send the money and asking for proof it's been sent.

I was searching on line jobs and came across this one. I used to be a quality control inspector So I didn't seem that weird to be hired for a quality inspector job. I've been doing this job for about a year now and recently went into UPS to pick up a package there I was told that scammers were using my exact protocol for fraud so I thought oh my God did I get scammed I wanted to reach out to the BB to ensure that what I'm doing is not illegal because I don't want to be held accountable for something I knew nothing about all I know is that I've been opening packages inspecting them and then sending them off to another location yes now looking back it does look a little weird but I honestly thought this was a quality control inspection position so I didn't question it until being told by UPS that it might be a scam so I'm reaching out to you to make sure That this is either legit or not
