I was contacted via email in relation to job profiles I had posted on Indeed and Linkedin. This person, who used the fake name "Sam Rayford", claimed I was a candidate for a PT "package shipping" work-from-home job. They sent me paperwork and a link to the following page to familiarize myself with their so-called shipping "dashboard". In this app you can see an inventory of packages that are due to arrive to your address. They require you to print out the outgoing shipping labels and apply them to the packages and then take them to be shipped. You are not supposed to pay to have them shipped and that's how the process worked for the first week and a half until they asked me to pay to have one item shipped, claiming there was a mix up in shipping label information.

During on-boarding I was contacted by 3 other scammers. Their names are as follows: Cassandra Hey, Henry Dane, and Ariah Ronald. All these scammers had emails after their names in this format: [email protected].

They all took turns informing me of how to use the dashboard via text and phone conversations.

Eventually I discovered online that they were liars and the so-called company has been doing this to people for quite some time without ever paying anyone anything in the end.

I'm posting this so that someone somewhere will incarcerate these people and shatter their little scam.

I was contact by a person names Michael Smith who claimed to be a recruiter for edar Staffing, he stated he located my contact information from zip recruiter. He had conducted a pre-screening and advised me that he going to pass my information over to the talent Acquisition manager. I was then sent up with a zoom call with a man name Derrick Lewis, he was black guy dressed well but had a green background. He had a couple of screens in front of him because he was jumping from screen to screen. When we got to the end of that video he scheduled me to speak with the hiring person who was Sean Sutton. He advised Michael has worked close with him and helped him bring in a good amount of people. Friday Michael wanted to schedule a call with me. Which we were able to connect and he went over feedback but as well an offer. He sent over an offer letter and an equipment contract, and stated I need to cover shipping cost. At first I was like weird but this whole thing took a week and I went through 3 interviews in the end I paid 256+ dollars and was then ghosted.

Below is email I received. Can't find anything but generic website for a large company. Phone number only for one person even for both contacts Michelle and Aaron. Voice on call received was foreign and seemed rehearsed. Instincts all along said scam but never asked for money or personal info besides basic name, address and phone number. Addresses for locations don't match what business is for.

I have way more pictures but they also changed their name on Indeed! Basically, I applied to a remote position with them. I had a (what seemed to be) normal interview process (even though its a DC number the phone call seemed fake because the woman barely spoke clear English and the connection was HORRIBLE..as if she called long distance over dial up or something..). After being offered the position i said i would think about it. The links she sent me were from what APPEARS to be a legit site “Interwise LLC”..the links they send take u to a normal site, BUT I looked closer at her email address and hers said “Inter-wiser” with an R on the end..so its like she slightly tweaked the real company’s name as to not raise suspicion and if u dont pay close enough attention you’ll miss it. I knew something was off once she tried to tell me that providing my social medias and a pic of my face next to my ID…Im an HR person so I KNEW something didn’t seem right. I cussed her out and told her Id be reporting her and the made up company (Interwiser) but I dont know if the other company (Interwise) is in on it too. The job consisted of me having to pick up and process money from businesses 1-2 days a week and taking calls/emails the rest. The new name they changed themselves to on INDEED is Neslo I believe.

- New Rochelle, NY, USA

The whole job offer and assignment seemed like a scam, the girl told me I will be making about $3,600 a month working between 10-12 hours, running social media for Grain Millers company. I have contacted the company itself to find out if the person is real and they said that the person does not exist. The girl told me to create social media amount for the company on Facebook using my information but I never did it because that did not seem professional at all. I have seen that the company already has numerous social media accounts. the person have used 2 different email addresses and numbers. The initial number does not work anymore. The company itself now knows of the scamming person. The girl also told me that the company will send me funds to pay for marketing or something like that, I have numerous emails that she sent me. I was never interviewed which was the first weird sign, how do I get hired without being interviewed. Please reach out to me if any questions arise.

- Gainesville, FL, USA

I was approached with a job position. I was asked to interview via email correspondent and selected after a day after they did some fake background screening. I was sent an offer letter from a different email who was posing as HR. I signed and returned it. They said they would send the money to let me purchase equipment. They sent a check. Later they said they have already placed the order and I need to pay the vendor and sent me their details

I signed a contract with them and gave them my ID and SSN so that they could run a background check. I worked for them for over a month and the accounting department sent me an email about what my pay date would be. On the day I was supposed to be paid they locked me out of my dashboard and all of their phone numbers were disconnected.
