On 7/11/2023 I received the below response requesting for my resume to be reformatted to be compatible with ATS resume style. I paid the $17.00 fee and then did my research on the "agency". That is when I discovered I was scammed. This same exact email is going out to people seeking employment all over the country.

I did some research and found another site that converted to the exact same format for $3. Once that was done, I sent the file back to "Darlene." Interestingly enough, she told me that it wasn't sufficient and I needed to use the site she recommended.
Now, in all of this, I asked for the JD, the salary range, and even the name of the client, and she would not give me the information. As a result, my spidey-sense had started tingling pretty early on this one but I've been laid off twice in the past several months and even had to put my house on the market a few days ago... I'm desperate.
Another red flag... Even when I asked her to call me, I never got a call.
PE Recruiting - they list a Manhattan address but it's actually a virtual address that ANYONE can get for $80/month. They are CLEARLY connected to CMS Resumes and I have already reported all of this to the FBI.
