Our entire interaction is in writing via Facebook Messenger and email. They provided more personal information than the form requested.

I thought I was adopting a Yorkshire Terrier puppy, 11 weeks old. The $300 included the dog, shipping, vet records and up to date vaccines. I completed the transaction using Zelle via my bank, Capital One. The scammer sent me videos of my dog and photos. They claimed to use a shipping company called Global Expressway in Virginia and said I'd receive an email from them with a tracking number. I received the email and it looked fake. There was a tracking number and I was promised the puppy would arrive at 17:00 on Monday. I contacted Global Expressway directly. They're in fact a real freight company however the department the email claimed to be from was non existent. They further informed me that the email I received was not sent from them. The email contained 3 PDFs, each of a crate they claimed I'd have to purchase at $1500 and would be totally refundable. At this point I realized I've been scammed. I did not open any links. I called my bank immediately.

So far I have contacted my bank and they have opened an investigation that will take 10-45 days to complete. I have not however made the scammer aware of my actions. I requested a refund repeatedly and they're ignoring me but we're still friends on Facebook because I don't want them to disappear before the investigations are complete.

I have also reported this to the FTC.

I ordered a meat special online from Omahasteakfactory.com but never received anything. After 5 weeks they said it was delivered which it wasn't. After complaining they said they refunded my money which I never received. They lie and say they are located in the U.S. but the tracking they sent was out of China. The website Omahasteakfactory.com no longer exists and I lost $52.

He will not answer phone calls, messages, or emails. I have sent a request to the person on paypal to request money back and no answer. He will block you on the messenger app and from him facebook "business" page. 2 months later and still no money or part.

Seller posted pictures and video of beautiful 3 dimensional fairy sculptures on Facebook. They are described as being an average of 2 to 3 feet, wire wrapped fairy figures with mesh wings holding a seeded dandelion. I purchased 3 sculptures on 1/8/24, which I received on 1/18/24. I immediately contacted the company at [email protected] because the product does not come close to the advertised product. I have been going back and forth with emails to their service department. They have offered a 10% refund, then went to 25%, and finally a 30% refund. I have declined all 3 offers, repeatedly telling them I wanted to return the items for a full refund minus shipping and handling. They replied that was not advisable due to "logistical " issues and the likelihood they might not receive the return, thus I would bear the full cost. They said I could keep the sculptures, but they are not fit for display and will be put out for recycling if I cannot return. They have yet to provide a return address after an exchange of 10 emails.

The site advertised a parrot and I messaged her within Facebook. The cost was $600 for the bird, $180 for shipping and $300 for a cage. All prices were reasonable. Then the breeder requested $380 for reimbursable shipping insurance, which they split with me. After the bird was supposedly picked up by the shipping company, there was an additional cost of $500 for a vet check that was also refundable after the bird arrived. This cost I did not pay. The shipping company is Speedy Network Transport, which the website no longer works. Both the bird site and shipping company seems fraudulent.

I was looking for a rabbit to adopt, went on their page, they sent me a few pics of it, then said it was 100, 30 dollars delivery fee, then they said i needed to pay the vet 120 dollars, totally refundable and also that the rabbit needed a shot that was 150$. When coming time to make delivery they told me i needed to pay 200 dollars for the crate fee but i did not, that is when i new it was a scam

I purchased 6 bottle of keto gummies from an advertisement on Facebook for $39.99. That month later I was charged another $240.00 but I have not received anything. I called and asked why I was charged $240.00 again and they said that I signed up for a monthly subscription. I told them that I did not and I wanted my money back and I wanted everything cancelled. She agreed to cancel my subscription but would only give me $0 back. I told her I wanted all of my money back and I would send everything back that was ordered since it was money back guarantee. She said it was not money back guaranteed. The phone number is the only accurate information I have. The bottle says the product is distributed for KetoDrops - Memphis, Tennessee 37501 but the bank transaction says the recipient of the money is ReVital Medical in 7780 49th Street North 516 Florida 33781.. Cannot find them anywhere on Google

Ad on Facebook for Hoka shoes. I exited Facebook and went to the website, TheoDuoLeggins,LLC, and placed an order for 2 pair of shoes. The cost was $79, with free shipping, that I paid using my VISA credit card.

Selling electric air purifiers for pet odours. It’s smaller than an 8 ounce of soda pop! I tried to return it unopened but they said it was a sale item and I couldn’t. ALL their products are on sale.

Lost all my pics on Messenger on my cell phone. Went to Verizon. They said Messenger goes thru Facebook. Got in touch with Facebook. Put me in with some man who said it would be a refundable dollar, but to verbally talk to him it would be $39.00. I said no. Just "chat" online. All he said was once the pics were gone they were gone, not saved anywhere. That was the entire online discussion. Looked at my bank account the next day, saw ASKTECH deducted $55.00 from my account. Went to bank. Even Had the Asst. Branch Manager call the 800 number and someone named Christine said I wanted a subscription to the company. I did not, never said I did. Said they won't return my money. Just went on line after that and found it is a scam company that Facebook handles. It IS A SCAM.

An ad was running on Facebook on Jan 5th advertising an item called BlissTv Streaming Device. It look legitimate and was showing a multitude of “happy customer reviews” so, I purchased a 5 pack set, waited for them to arrive in the mail and today they did indeed arrive but, the devices do not do anything the company claims they will do. In fact they don’t do anything at all.

I am sure that there’s no way to retrieve any of the money I paid for these devices but I felt it should be put on file with the ScamPulse.com that companies such as this are taking money from unsuspecting people via Facebook.

A person contacted me on Facebook Marketplace regarding an item I had for sale. It would not let me contact the person back directly unless I reached out to them via text. So I did. I said I had someone else looking to buy the chair, but I’d let them know if it became available. They started saying they wanted me to authenticate the post and that they would send me a 6 digit code, they were ready to buy the chair. They were becoming aggressive and insisted I give them the code they sent me, told me not to worry, etc etc over and over again which I refused to send them and then I blocked them because it freaked me out.
