I placed an order though Temu. It was personalized rings as Christmas presents. I did receive them and loved them but the picture started peeling off so the sent a new one it happened again and they replaced both rings however they are peeled off again and now they are telling me I am out of the warranty window and they can do nothing but refund me 5.00 I paid 39.00 each. I was never told about a warranty window now they are telling me they can't do anything. So they basically stole my 80.00. I am on disability and am very upset that there's nothing they can do. I have emailed them numerous times.

Found an ad for shell colored carport 25'x20'x7' from Arrow, on Facebook. was sent tracking and shipping detail e-mail, but now has been delivered to an unknown address in El Centro CA. ?

E-mail say they charged me $81.33, but actual charge was $67.93. I have disputed it with my credit account. The account says no merchant info. Why would they let a charge go through with no merchant info?

I contacted someone on the Facebook marketplace to buy an iPhone 15 pro max 1 TB. When we talked on messenger the lady was Nice. We set a time and day to meet up. She even showed me a picture of the receipt I checked the IMEI on the Apple site everything was ok. When we met up I checked the iPhone box it matched the IMEI on the receipt the lady showed me. The phone was used and didn't have much battery. At the moment when I was with the lady couldn't tell the phrase was fake till I got home and took a deeper look at everything. Right after I left to head home I messaged the seller no response already and I felt something wrong, after a couple of hours I got home the seller blocked me off Facebook Messenger. The phone is fake and can't do anything with it and I paid $1000 for garbage. I wonder if I can get my money back even though I know the person used a fake name to create an account. I also called the Surrey non-emergency line the police said they couldn't do anything. I got mad I just want to report Facebook marketplace allows people to sell fake things online. I also want to warn others to be careful.

I saw an ad on Facebook for some lovely clothing items, one of them being a Western tribal/ethnic sweater, which I ordered for $45.98. The company, listed as Westlands, is, I NOW KNOW, a scam company. Although they purport to be Westlands, they are really Lilyards, out of China. I ordered the sweater on Feb. 10/24, paying through Paypal. It is now Apr. 10, and to date, have not received the item I bought. I have contacted this outfit numerous times through their only method of contact -- which is [email protected] -- asking them to cancel this order and refund my payment, which they have refused to do. They have strung me along promising that "soon" the item will be shipped. It does not take three months to send an item someone has paid for, and I need help getting my money back.

10x20 Greenhouse. They said that they are with Harbor Freight, and the item is a clearance. The description page had ScamPulse.com logo as well as 5 or 6 other logos to make me think that it is legitimate. They even sent email to inform that the item was shipped with a trackingnumber. Originally, they said that the item would arrive within a

week, which made me think that it's from one of HarborFreight warehouses. When I didn't get it, I decided to track and found that it was

shipped from China. A month later, I found that the tracking said that the item was delivered. I went to the location and then to the Post Office. The PO said the package does not exist in their system. Later, the people of the house of the supposed delivery called and said no such delivery occurred.

I want to my email and saw that they charge me 299.99 so i call them so they can cancel it they told me they cannot cancel the transaction so i call target card cause i use my target card so they can see if they can cancel it target told me to call them back to see if they can cancel and than i told target to put in a despite it’s been two months and target told me that they was going to take care of it the only thing that target did is cancel the subscription with them i didn’t know i had a subscription with them until target told me

Scammer is an admin of Facebook site which seems to be a front for a puppy scam operation. When I expressed interest in a puppy, she claimed the owner was dead (so I couldn't talk to them about the dog), and that if I wanted it I'd need to give her the deposit. It didn't make sense since she was the admin of the site. The price was too good to be true. She immediately got mad when I asked any questions and requested referrals, saying that I was being negative. She posts about new puppies constantly on the site which all seems very suspicious for a site that claims to be about rehoming dogs. I mean they're all puppies!

I tried to purchase keto gummies, the offer was buy 1 get 4 free, they then charged me for each bottle plus another supplement that i didnt order. The prices were very misleading and not quite what they said. Also there was no total to agree on before processing the order. They processed it then gave you the total. It was very misleading and not very professional. I am getting refunded not sure how long that will take. But in the mean time my bills are being pushed back because some company chose to be sketchy and take advantage of people by not being transparent.

Supposedly reshipped and still nothing. Offering 70% refund.

I don't trust refund offered when they cannot even get order correct.

I GUESS THIS IS A LESSON LEARNED.

Deposit for Yorkie made thru cash app to breeder. Suppose to meet on Friday to pick up puppy, no communication. Next day breeder reached out she had been in an accident. Her husband text & private message on FB but that he was trying g to help his wife, he could ship puppy & wife would send paperwork when she got out of hospital. Shipper emailed me saying he needed a refundable deposit of $550 for container, to late to ship, next day needed refundable $750. For Citi permit to bring dog into my city, Holiday, now the need $175. Storage fee, $25. Per day. (Had no idea that breeder had left puppy at shipping co.) and now Refundable $1,000. For ACD Progressive Proof of Care. Everything paid to shipping company was thru Cash App & Zelle, Different Names. Initial deposit to breeder Cash App with balance to be paid when we were to meet & exchange funds & puppy with papers. Since the meeting with breeder did not happen, an Apple Card was required by shipping company to Breeder for our final payment.

Facebook market place ad for a free Yamaha piano. Once contacted they passed along their sister's email to be contacted. The following email responses were as follows...

My brother told me about you, and I would really love to give it to you. I have told him to take it off from the market place since you are interested in taking it…. The baby grand piano used to be owned and played by my husband who is now deceased and it was last tuned in April before he passed away. I'm almost done moving my properties and I don't think my husband will be happy if I sell his piano, at the same time I'm not happy seeing it around because of less storage I have in my new house so I'm hoping to give it out to someone who is a passionate lover of the instrument. It's currently going to be with the movers I employed to move my properties from my house.. if you really don't mind making new arrangements with the movers, I can attempt to get in touch with them. This should not attract too many charges since the distance can be recovered within a day..I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but do let me know if you wish that I get through to the movers. Just so you know I'm not giving out a scrap or a waste, it’s in immaculate condition.

Hi, my name is ****** ********. I was scammed out of $2650 for a house in Sparta MO. Then they wanted an extra $900 for the third month's rent. I have contacted the Sparta police department. I sent the money through the Chime account to two people in the amount to one person of $770. That was for a $70 application fee and a $700 deposit. Then I paid another person $900 for the first and last month's rent. Now I have a 3rd person messaging me on facebook by the name of Jeremy love asking that I send $100 to him to get my money back.

Subject: Personal Complaint Regarding Fraudulent Activities by Erick Salcedo

Dear Better Business Bureau,

I am reaching out to file a personal complaint against Mr. Erick Salcedo for his involvement in fraudulent activities, which have resulted in significant financial harm to me.

On or about April 19, 2023, Mr. Salcedo solicited a $13,000 cash loan from me, promising repayment by May 19, 2023, or offering a fifty percent (50%) interest in the real property located at 436 North Mount Vernon Avenue, San Bernardino, California, 92411 as collateral. However, despite the agreed-upon terms, Mr. Salcedo failed to fulfill his repayment obligations and instead proposed exchanging a vehicle valued at $500 to reduce the debt to $10,000. Unfortunately, no payment was ever made.

Furthermore, on November 4, 2023, Mr. Salcedo instructed me to deposit $100,000 in cash into a 1031 exchange account managed by Integrity One Escrow, supposedly for a reverse mortgage transaction involving the real property located at 14205 Ramhurst Drive, La Mirada, California 90638. However, Integrity One Escrow never received the funds, and Mr. Salcedo has failed to reimburse me. This situation has caused significant financial distress, especially considering the intended recipient of these funds was a 74-year-old individual in poor health who relied on the reverse mortgage for financial support.

Additionally, on the same date, I provided Mr. Salcedo with an additional $5,000 in cash to cover the costs of legal services for drafting a contract agreement related to the real property in La Mirada. Despite my payment, no contract was ever produced, and I received no evidence of any legal services rendered.

Despite my persistent attempts to contact Mr. Salcedo since December 2023, he has evaded all communications and failed to fulfill his obligations. Despite signing a promissory note on December 28, 2023, promising to return the funds by January 31, 2024, Mr. Salcedo has continuously avoided meeting with me and has been vague and evasive regarding his intentions to repay the debt.

In summary, Mr. Salcedo's actions constitute fraudulent activities, resulting in substantial financial losses on my part.

I kindly request that the Better Business Bureau conduct an investigation into Mr. Salcedo's activities and take appropriate action to address the harm caused to me and other affected individuals.
