This is Medicare fraud. I opened a recent Meidcare claim statement today to see services I did not use, from a provider I have never seen, and for medical supplies for wound care and glucose monitoring device, which I do not require. The Medicare number, my name and address were all on the claim statement for these services which is extremely worrisome. I have reported the fraud to Medicare for an investigation, but this company is a known perpetrator of Medicare fraud. I alert everyone to read their Medicare claim statements to verify that you received the services listed.

I was unaware of any claims filed by this company until I received a notice from my secondary medicare coverage. I have never received any medical supplies from this company, yet they have filed and received, $8,078.40 from Medicare. I have reported the fraud to Medicare and my secondary.

This company fraudulently charged my father’s Medicare thousands of dollars on two occasions in 2024. My father never received any bills or products - we’ve never heard of them. I’m going buy report the fraud to Medicare, Blue Cross, and the NJ and NY attorney general’s offices. Check your insurance regularly!

WHEN I READ THIS ONE I DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES, DATES OF SERVICES, OR THE PROVIDER/BILLER - IN THIS CASE "ALMAZ MED SUPPLY INC. . I CHECKED THEM OUT ONLINE AND THEY ARE PERMANTLY CLOSED AND LOOKING AT THEIR WEBSITE THERE IS SOME TYPE OF "FOREIGN - LANGUAGE" ON THERE. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS SOME TYPE OF SCAM.

Alma’s Med Supply Inc, charged my Medicare account $8280.00 for supplies and services never requested or received. The first I knew of it was when I received my EOB from Medicare showing billing from May 20, 2024 to December 2024 for diabetic supplies. I am not diabetic, have never been, and have never heard of this company. Medicare paid some of it and sent me the EOB saying I may owe $1,615.58.

This is the second time this business has tried to scam Medicare and my Medicare Supplement provider by false billing. The first time was in 2024, when my Medicare Supplement provider notified me that Almaz had submitted a bill for $2,606 for glucose monitor supplies from May 1 - Nov 24. I am not diabetic and none of my doctors ordered such supplies for me. I contacted my Medicare Supplement provider who told me the claim was under review. They also told me to notify Medicare, which I did. Today I received another notification from my Medicare Supplement provider telling me that Almaz had submitted a bill for $8280 for gel wound pads from 8/20/24 through 10/30/24; this claim is also under review, and I will contact Medicare about it as well.

On my Medicare statement, I was fraudulently charged $2760 each time on 8/27/24, 9/26/24 and on 10/28/24, each time for a gel wound pad. The total amount charged was $8280.00.

Almaz Med Supply Inc. attempted to charge my Medicare $2,606. for medical equipment that was never ordered. This is the second such scam I’ve experienced on my summary notice. Fortunately, Medicare must be on to the Almaz scammers because they didn’t pay. The other scammer, Vivital Inc. got well over $2,000 cash from my Medicare account.
