I received multiple calls from the number 253-218-1314 which is out of Auburn, WA. When I answered the call I received a pre-recorded computer voiced message that said that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and that they need me to call them immediately. I called the number the first time and it went to voicemail. I called a second time and spoke to man with a heavy Hindi accent. He told me that he works for the IRS and that I owed them over 5,000 in tax money from the year 2010 - 2016 and there was a miscalculation. I then asked him to verify my social security number and he said that he couldn't do that and hung up. I looked up the number and found that this is a telecommunications company called Level 3 Communications and they are masquerading as the IRS. What they are doing is considered fraud and is illegal. If you get a call from the company - do not call them back. It is a MAJOR SCAM.

Caller called me today 8/9/17 via automated calling system and left me a voicemail stating that they "the IRS" is filing a lawsuit against me and to call them back at a certain phone number, which is total BS!! They called me from this number 818-322-8272. The caller can't even speak in a complete sentence!! Also, the IRS does not make its first contact by phone!!!!! The real IRS, if they really are the IRS, already knows where you live work and anything else they really want to know about you, and they will send you a certified letter!!! So, don't be fooled!!!!

I received a call from a number in Lincoln city OR and I answered thinking it could be a family member which it wasn't it was a recording saying that it was an important IRS matter and to contact them at said phone number. And I have already heard of this scan from my local news and so I decided to call back and see what kind of BS they were going to give me. So start off I told them a fake name which they pulled up on there "system". And they proceeded to tell me there's was an arrest warrant for me for tax evasion and me going along with it to see how far they go with a name that obviously isn't mine. They said they had attempted to contact me via mail and the only way to fix the problem was to pay for the mistakes on my taxes from 2013-2014 which I had stated I didn't think there's was a mistake since I go to an accountant. Threw him of there a little.

After all they were attempting to get money out of money and I stated to me that I was attempting to fraud the IRS and the USA which at that point I said to him you guys are the only ones frauding the USA your a total scam and good try but not from today you will be caught so start running.
