this caller has called me both on my landline and cell phone. they tell me that the IRS has a warrant out for my arrest.i just hung up because if i understand correctly the IRS does not call people.

they called and affiliated with the IRS and said I committed a crime. they need my SSN# and other info and they need to calculate how much I owe based on the severity of the crime I committed. They asked a lot of other information and wanted me to give out all my information. They said they will send out a warrant and arrest me if I did not comply.

Kept calling my number once I answered they sad they are the IRS & I have 3 judgements against me that I owe them & offered me a number to call to resolve this or I would be put in jail in 3 days. The law will be at my house in 3 days if I do not pay what is owed to the IRS.

I've been called by a different number with the same/similar message. I let the calls go unanswered and they leave voicemail. Note that I do NOT have any criminal record of any sort.

"The notification regarding your tax filings from the headquarters which will get expired int he next 24 working hours and once again expired. After that you will be taken under custody by the local cops as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking legal action against you."

They call requesting Tax payments. Leave threatening messages on phone

Jail time, prosecution if you don't make payments telling you to call 1-707-932-3036 with payment.

Message left on my voicemail. It sounded like a prerecorded message. "This is the IRS. This is your last warning. Please contact us at 707-932-3028. " There was some additional information, but I don't remember what it was.

I have received two phone calls today from Seguin, Texas, both from a woman indicating this was "officially a final notice from the IRS, Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on the department number 830-406-3436. I repeat 830-406-3436. Thank you.

They called said I had $8100 that I owed in back taxes and if I did not pay it now an agent was coming to arrest me. The caller sent me to the Walmart on Navy Blvd and told me to buy 3 $500 gift cards and he told me to give him the numbers right then and scrape off the silver strip on the back. Then he sent me to the Walmart on Mobile Hwy and he had me buy 4 more $500 gift cards then they kept calling saying it was my final warning and they were coming to get me.

I was left an automated voice mail that said I was being notified that the IRS is filing a suit against me. For more information stop by your local IRS office or call 816-281-3736. When I called this # from another line, and then from my cellphone, it said it was disconnected and no longer in service. It was a generic message that did not mention my name or anything personal.

the number 8442778116 calls and says i am being audited, and when i ask to speak to a supervisor they refuse. they say they are located in washington, dc . they have called other people i know saying they owe the irs and are in trouble. this is a scam do not believe anything they tell you

I was called and told I was being investigated by the IRS and was asked several personal questions and when I tried to get a name and badge number they said if they needed more info they would let me know...I called my CPA she told me they were just trying to get my info to most likely use for identity theft...I tried calling the number back to get a name and badge number and it gave me a message saying it was a non working number...I then borrowed a friends phone and they answered. ..again I asked for a name and badge number and they hung up on me...
