Automated dialing deal left 3 messages for me today. "we have been trying to reach you. This is an official final notice from the IRS, Internal Revenue Service. ...the IRS is filing an lawsuit against you. To get more information...call immediately on our office phone 501 254-7614. Thank you." I called the number and an IRS agent named Jennifer Martin, badge number IR 50246. My case number is DC2145896. They said I calculated my taxes wrong during the years 2010 through 2015. I owed them $8,163.00. They wanted to know if I would pay that now. They had a warrant for my arrest right there. My case was already in Washington DC, at the federal court. I couldn't pay the entire amount, so they wanted me to give them $500.00 now, to postpone this case, and keep me out of jail." I told them that I didn't know anything about it until now, and that I wouldn't pay them a dime until I saw proof that I was wrong. The super visor then told me that was fine. I can just go to court, but the court loses with fees would be $25K or MORE. I told them this was a scam, and then hung up. I called the IRS for real, and they assured me that I owed them nothing. This call was very scary for me, and I am intelligent, and it was pretty hard for me to get them to slip up.

Hello,

This number leaves a message saying it's the IRS and that they have issued an arrest warrant against me right now and that my physical property is being monitored and it's very important that I hear back from them before they proceed with any legal matter. HA!

A Caller from 870-345-4365 to TX business states company is being sued by IRS. I called back, they say "Internal Revenue Service" in a foreign tone, but hang up when you ask questions!. They must want to do a "one call" collection scam!

I was called by someone claiming to be with the IRS. They said I was one of only a handful of people chosen by the IRS to receive a $9000 grant to which I had not applied for. When I asked how I was chosen, I was told random based on my credit history and would need to go to a CVS, Walgreens or somewhere for a Western Union or Money Gram and that once I arrived there, I needed to call a number so they could guide me through the process. Before I was given the number or any more information, I hung up. Just a few days ago, my niece received same call telling her the same thing. Someone needs to check into this.

This number calls with a recording informing you there is a time-sensitive matter regarding tax fraud on your behalf and that you owe money. It gives a number for you to call immediately. I called back and a man with an Indian accent answered as an "agent". I asked why they are calling and they hung up on me and would not answer my question or speak to me after that. According to a quick search this scam has taken thousands from people. Please report this or something similar if you get this call.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number but when I pick up all I hear is dead air. The one time I let it go to voicemail they left a message stating that I owed the IRS money and this was my last chance to avoid jail time. I know I don't owe any money as I have already received a tax refund this year.

Automated / Computer-Gen. Voice left message stating the IRS has decided to take legal action. (*Note: I DIDN'T BOTHER TO ANSWER THE CALL & just let the Unk # go to Voice Mail). Next, I screen-captured the SCAMMER's # from the Missed Call Log & the Voicemail Log-that's the picture I've uploaded.

Also note, I am a Disabled Veteran & have been aware that we are OFTEN "targeted".
