A woman by the name of "Jenny" called me tonight at 7:01pm, claiming that I owe the IRS back money from 2010 to 2015, and yes, the first words out of her mouth were "Mrs. Larson" (first red flag) can you hear me clearly?" and then she mumbled who she was and I had to ask her to repeahaer name (she barely spoke English), so after the second time, I asked her to spell her name and she said Jenny and went on to say her "Number" is IRM5025. She started off first thing by saying that the irs has put out a warrant for mIy arrest and will be showing up on my doorstep to arrest me and revoke my drivers liscense for life if I didn't pay he,r 3000.00 for what I back owe....I kept trying to explain to her that I have NEVER owed the IRS in my entire life because I have been a single mother for the past 31 years and havee always gotten a "refund" but have never owed!!! She argued with me!!! I told her she must have the wrong number because I owe NOTHING, and she asked me what my name was, which I thought was odd, and I told her "Janelle L. Larson-Smith". I told her that three different times and what I found odd was she kept calling me Mrs. Larson. Finally I told her I havee NEVER recieved any notification in the past years from the IRS and I know for a fact I do NOT owe. NOT ONE LETTER OR PHONE CALL...and she tried argueing with me that I didn't know what I was talking about and I owed "them" 3,000.00. I finally told her I knew this was a scam and I was calling the BBB, and she started yelling at me...thats when I hung up...The number she called from was 540-205-1832.

The call said it was from the IRS. I was told they had issued an arrest warrant for me for tax fraud. I was told to call 661-214-5323 to find out what I needed to do to get out of this trouble. I did not return the call.

This was a recorded call, saying there was a law suit, and an arrest warrant out please call this number, after calling this number the person answer the phone said it was the IRS. I then stated that I was the police and ask who was I talking with. there was no answer only typing in the back ground. The next day got another call from a different phone # saying the same thing. I also answer the phone same thing. The following day got the same call from the same number. I did not answer the phone this time.

computer recording saying that "IRS has sued you for taxes owed and has issued a warrant for your arrest. Need to call 763-316-0065 to talk to an agent, who would be standing by for your call, to get this matter straightened out."

I do not owe any taxes and knew this was a possible scam!

They are stating that you have a warrant due to audit from IRS and owe (X) amount, told me i owed almost 5,000 and that you had to pay (X) amount, told me 500, to drop the case or fight in court. And that they will send out an officer.They will go as far as making you write down the, Case Id#, Badge#, and their name. When i told them its impossible that i owe cause already on a payment plan and that i was unemployed and disabled she starts threatening me that a police will come for me. And is very persistent in trying to receive some sort of payment immediately to drop case. I said i would contact police department and then she hung up. Do not give out any personal information.

Called and said IRS was suing me. When I called to get information I was asked for first and last name, as well as last four of Social Security Number. When I asked for clarification of department before giving any part of my social...man with very thick accent said "an an an an an an" and hung up on me.

Someone from this number 763-316-0067 called and told me they where from the IRS. They stated that I owned money from 5 years ago and if I wanted to make payments over the phone to take care of it then I could do that. I told them that I did not own IRS any money and they proceeded to tell me that they will take me to court and I will spend a lot of time in jail.

They called from number above and I was busy and didnt answer the call. They left a threatening message saying it was urgent I contact them the IRS was filing charges against me and the local authorities already had my information and it was pertinent I call back to avoid being arrested. I called back a man with a heavy foreign accent introduced himself as an IRS agent saying I was being charged with tax evasion and fraud. I informed him I have student loans in default and my taxes are taken every yr and have been the last 12yrs. He proceed with the threat of jail at which point I told him I'd like to appeal this decision and was told that was not possible, I then told him to mail me all the charges or send the police and I'd deal with it then and hung up

This phone call was from moss beach, ca. saying that the irs was suing me which I know is not true. I did not answer the phone and they left a message. They probably would ask for money but didn't answer the phone so did not know.

I was on the phone with another business when a call came in that my phone registered as from Georgia. I ignored it because I was on the phone already. Maybe a minute later they called again. They left a voice mail that sounded like they had started talking before the phone recoded so there was no name of who it was. 2 hours later the same thing happened. Same number same way. I didn't answer they called twice and left the same message. I didn't want to use my cell to call them back so I used my house phone. I am guessing they didn't recognize that number so the woman answered saying hello. I could hear lots of others talking in a foreign accent, in the back ground. She also had a foreign accent. I said I want to know who is calling my phone and why. She replied hello again. I said again I want to know who is calling my phone and why. She said I am with the IRS. I said no you are not, sorry and hung up. I have no idea how to transfer from my voice mail to my computer to this site so...I will keep it saved on my phone.

Computerize call advising I owed the IRS back taxes and they were filling a law suit against me if I didn't pay up. Started giving me how to send the cash when I hung up!!!

Two hours later they called again and then I called the local police and reported to

them what happened. Found out they can't do much and suggested I let you know!!!
