I was left a message saying I had tried to do a fraud with IRS and we are taking legal action issuing an arrest warrant on your name. To get more information regarding this case file call back 877-235-7697. I did not call back as I feel this is a scam. Hopefully it is a scam as I know I have not been in any trouble with the IRS.

Caller from the above # stated that I owed $5868.00 in back taxes from 2011-2016 and that if I did not pay this amount I would be arrested within the hour. She sent me over to her senior officer who asked if I wanted to settle out of court... asked me how much money I had in my checking and savings account...

I received a message on my cell phone yesterday. Stated it was the IRS. They were putting a sweep on my account. Call them at 765-226-5626. I tried to call the number twice. The first time I called the phone kept ringing. The second time I was put on hold and disconnected.

Received a phone call at approximately 9:07AM on 19 April 2017. It was an automated call saying the IRS was suing me for some reason. I hung up after hearing this short portion of the message.

No demand for money made on the outbound computer generated voice message telephone call.

Elected not to return the call.

I DO have a trace on my telephone which was made at prior to 11:00 AM Central if anyone would like to explore that. May just be another IP address but at least it is a telephone company trace.

Saw a missed call from the phone number listed above. Called it back before I saw a voicemail was left (voicemail was a robo call that only left the number to call back). When I talked to a person, they answered saying that they were the IRS. I said that someone had just called and he asked what it was about. I said that I didn't know because I saw the missed call and didn't see a voicemail. They asked for my name and decided to hang up. Caller had an accent. Knew that the area code was completely wrong for the IRS.
