I received a voicemail approximately one week ago from a gentleman claiming to be the IRS. The voicemail stated I had a lawsuit filed against me and that I would be arrested. I have received other similar calls with this same information. I called the number back and spoke to someone who gave me a batch no. I stated I was ondisability and the gentleman I was talking to told me to find out who was using my name. The second time I called the number the line was disconnected.

They called to say the IRS is filling a lawsuit against me. The best part is I have a private cpa and my wife actually works for one of the worlds largest tax firms

I received the following voicemail text from the scammer and they had a foreign, Asian-sounding accent:

Hello, we have been trying to reach you. This call is officially a final notice from the IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 610-674-1756. I repeat 610-674-1756. Thank you.

I received the calls from the scammers on Monday 4/17 at 10:47am and 12:10pm.

A man called saying he was from the IRS and that I owed back taxes He said there are 4 warrants out for my arrest. He told me they would get in contact with the police department. He wanted my address. He said I owed over $140 dollars and then said the total amount owed was $500. He asked if I wanted to take care of it now, or if I wanted to get arrested. I told him, I'd take care of it now and put my husband on the phone. When my husband started asking him questions, he hung up.

They said I was being investigated for tax evasion. They threatened me saying I was being arrested, detained and prison for 7-8 years. They stated my home, vehicle, bank accounts were being seized.

The man on the phone said I owed $2996 to the IRS for tax fraud and that I would be arrested. When I tried to say I would call him back, he said that I couldnt hang up the phone. He then told the other person that was present he was sending the police.

I received three telephone calls from this #636 812 6392 someone posing as the IRS stating that we were in a law
