I received a call from this numbers saying that there is a lawsuit pending against me because of back taxes. The person calling said they were from the IRS and had a foreign accent. They did not state my name. They requested that I call them back immediately. They called my cell phone # and the number was from Miami, Florida.

I receive a voicemail that It would be in my best interest to return the call if not, I would be arrested and they would be forced to take action. I did return the call and the caller answered by answering "IRS May I help You"? I did not give my name or any information other than when asked, did I receive a call, I replied yes, and I hung up immediately.

I will block the caller.

The woman called claiming to an officer of the IRS. She claimed that I was sent 2 notifications in the mail saying that I owed money and since I didn't respond there would be a warrant out for my arrest. She kept clarifying my address and asked me a series of questions that I proceeded to answer yes to. She told me the call would be recorded. She gave me her badge number and my supposed case ID number. Then I was then transferred to someone else where they reprimanded me for not filing my taxes correctly and told me as officer would be coming to arrest me.

When they called it was a automated voice saying they have been trying to contact me cause I was getting sued then said if I don't pay I will be arrested.when I called back it's was trying to record me

They asked if filed taxes, and since I was suspicious I returned the call twice and was hung up on each time. The local news WDAM has reported these scams happening in the Hattiesburg, MS area.

This number 210-229-8480 continues to leave voicemail on my husbands work phone saying we owe the IRS.

When I called they answer Internal Revenue and once I ask where I called they hang up on me. We would like these calls to be stopped as we do not owe the IRS and it's becoming annoying.

I don't have anything to forward it's recorded on my husbands cell phone

This person called my mother pretending to be IRS telling that she owned money and that if she didn't make a cash payment by 5pm she will be arrested.

My mom was extremely worried and almost went to make the cash payment like she was told. Thankfully she told her boss and she told her that it was an scammed, so she hang up the phone and guys kept harassing her. Then she got another call from supposently the police department saying they had a warrant. The number was 703-478-0904.

She then went to her accountant and he called the number and someone picked up the phone by name. He never mentioned IRS. After the accountant told him to stop harassing his client he hanged up.

Please try to stop this people from taking money from this working family. God is looking over us and luckily she didn't loose her money, but I can't image what would happened if she would've lost her money. Money that she works so hard for.

I received a phone call from someone saying they were with the IRS and they said I owe money and needed to pay or be arrested. Then they transferred me to their supervisor and when the supervisor got on the phone they said "Can you hear me." I hung up.

A man from the "IRS" called and left a voice message that I owed back taxes. I don't. He told me to call 815-255-8651, or they would send the police to come and arrest me. I called the ScamPulse.com to let you know this man tried to scam me.

Received phone call this same date, stating,They are calling from the tax crime investigation unit of the IRS. Your home and phones are being monitored by our fraud division. You need to call this number immediately.

(I knew this was bogus since I had just received my refund from the IRS. )

A female voice (sounded like computer talking) a message stating: ........This call is officially a final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service. IRS is filling (yes filling, not filing) a lawsuit on my name because I had tried to do a fraud with IRS and they are taking illegal (yes! illegal LOL) action and they are issuing an arrest warrant on my name. To get more information on this issue, call us back on our department 844-819-8486.
