I received a phone call from 440-261-7643 who left a message stating that they are the IRS calling to collect on fraud charges against the IRS. There is an arrest warrant being issued in my name and and need to call them immediately. Tried to call back but either got a busy signal or no one answered.

Consumer received a call from a foreign sounding man who stated he was with the IRS and that the police were about to come to her door because of tax evasion. Called stated that if consumer were to give him some information he would be able to stop the police. Wanted to know if consumer did her own taxes or had a company do them, then stated consumer owed over $3,000. Caller stated that consumer had to be honest with what she told him. Consumer then disconnected call

Called me twice saying that i owed the IRS over 2,000 dollars and if i did not pay there would be a warrant issued for my arrest. I laughed at him and he got mad and hung up on me.

I received a voicemail from the phone number 614-349-9749 and they stated they was the IRS and they had filed a lawsuit against me. They stated I needed to call them back to discuss the matter. I called back and a gentleman with a thick foreign accent answered, when I asked him if he was really with the IRS, he told me "to please speak English". I told him I did speak English and he replied with "I think your English is pretty crappy if you ask me" I then proceeded to ask for the real name of his business please, and he said alright I will spell it out to you, he proceeded to spell out "*** ***" and I told him I didn't appreciate that, and to never call my number again.

Received a phone call today from an unknown number in Atlanta, Georgia. I chose not to answer the call as i've made that mistake in the past. They left me a lengthy voicemail stating that they've received a legal petition against me for tax fraud. They requested that I contact them before the matter goes to the federal claims court or I will DEFINITELY be arrested. They gave me this number to call back "immediately" as it was a very urgent matter ;) (678) 553-4945.

Called by IRS. Caller claimed he had been audited and found non-compliant. Said I owed almost $5000. I was audited for the years of 2012-2016 period. Told me to call back to 216-810-1081. Caller identified himself as Officer Kenny Sebastian agent #IRM102560 and my case number was CH726295. I was given 2 options: either pay money immediately or have a lawyer plead my case in the courthouse in DC.

I told him I didn’t have the money to pay or hire lawyer. Caller said I should expect the sheriff within 20-35 min to be at my door. Spoke to caller and then “supervisor”. Difficult to understand because the callers both had strong accents.

They called and said they were the IRS, and I owe them money. They said they were calling from Ohio. They tried telling me I needed to send them money right away. I hung up on them.

Automated call saying there is an IRS class action suit against recipient and pending arrest warrant in recipient's name. Automated message asking recipient to call 844-861-7751 to resolve issue. Return call answered by someone with foreign accent, identifying themselves as the Internal Revenue Service. When asked why they were calling my elderly Mom's phone, they hung up. Three calls in two days, before hang up.

I received a call about 10:07a.m. on 6-19-17 from 1-844-568-2989 (caller ID said Service), they left a messages saying they were calling from the IRS, I dialed the number they said that I had 3 years of back taxes on the house (I don't even own the house). They said we have a warrant out for you now to have you arrested. I told them I don't owe nothing I don't own the house, she hung up. When they called me on my cell phone it said at the bottom it could be a scam.

They call and just say that there is a warrant for my arrest and anything information will help in the arrest and conviction of the person who answers this call. They have called on 3 different numbers so far now and a private number. It's a robot that is calling never a real person!

I have received 3 phone calls; 1 in April and 2 in May from person with heavy foreign accent stating she was calling from the IRS and there is a arrest warrant out in my name.

April call was from a man and the May calls were from a woman. Both were so very difficult to understand I did not get all of it. However, I know full well that there is NO WAY I am or could be in trouble with the IRS. I told the man that he was calling me at work and I said I work in my county sheriff office and he hung up. I told the woman that I am not good with money so my husband takes care of our finances and that he is the sheriff of our county. She immediately hung up also. I did not lose an money but feel sure that if I could have understood them they were working up to telling me that if I sent ?amount of dollars I would not be arrested.

These numbers will call (860-215-8343,979-201-5865,501-386-3848,478-215-171) and leave a recorded message saying that they are the IRS and that there is a law suit against you. The recording also mentions if you or your lawyer don't call back that they wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. (I have saved all messages that they left on my phone.)

Called claiming to be from the "IRS". Called several times today, every hour. They told me I owed the IRS money for back taxes - I am elderly and have not had to file taxes in years. They are threatening and try to scare people into sending them money. Sometimes, they will leave a number and tell me I have to call this number back.
