I was checking my answering machine and some man left a message to get in touch with them as soon as possible. They had a warrant out for my arrest if i dldnt. So I called the number and they said that they was from the IRS and asked when did i get the call. I told the man that a message was left of my phone. Then they hung up.

"Jack Cooper" with a foreign accent called my house phone to say that there was an arrest warrant for me for tax evasion from 2011-2015. He gave me a badge number and a case number. He said I needed to send $3,000 immediately, or I would be arrested. He scared me.

Supposedly from IRS, spoke broken English hard to understand. Claimed I had outstanding taxes of $800.owing from years 2011 through 2016. I played along, told them I had not been notified. They said a notice was attempted at my door by the police department but I did not answer the door. Asked why not delivered by US Mail. Never answered, that question, just said again a policeman from Beaumont Police Department would be by to see me. Told them I did not believe BPD in IRS collection business and hung up phone. I do not owe outstanding taxes.

Person Identifies himself as an IRS agent assigned to our case. "We have sent several notices to you and you have not responded." We moved to another state during the time the notices were supposedly sent. "Your court date is scheduled today and you can either pay the estimated tax or we can file and pay to have the case postponed."

I declined to answer the phone call. The phone number came up as a New York number. The voice-mail left on my cell phone said "Irs the nature of this call is to inform you about a lawsuit. Which has been filed on your name so before we go with legal matter and send this case to the local County courthouse kindly call us back on our number. Which is 646-506-4874. I repeat it 646-506-4874. Thank you and goodbye." The number has called me four times only on 1/19/2017. I've never had these phone calls before.

A recording came on when i answered the phone. "this is the IRS we have been looking into you and you have secrets you have been keeping in regards to owing." I then hung up.

The first time they called it said hello and then goodbye . we called the number back and they said they were the IRS and asked " is this Michael L Faith?" ( it was a man who spoke a foreign language and had a very heavy accent and could barley understand him). When we questioned why the number was Manhattan they hung up. We called again and they would hang up on us. We kept calling and finally got a person and they said they were the IRS again and asked for our phone number. We asked why they were calling and the man put my husband on hold and then disconnected again. I looked up the number and it said New York. The info i found on them is as follows:
