I keep getting automated calls with someone saying their is a lawsuit against me with the IRS. They ask I return their calls so we can handle this matter. It has happened multiple days from multiple numbers. The caller ID says they are from California.

It was a recording tell me the Irs has been trying to reach me. And I must call this no. To pay my bill or get fined or even go to jail. It was the same no. That was called from.

This phone number and many other keep calling my home stating the IRS is filing suit against me. It is a recording and asks you to call the above number. I've called them several times telling them to stop calling me as the Irs would not make these kind of phone calls and they hang up. What can I do to stop this?

Consumer is a public entity and received several calls from 832-241-7072 and 469-506-0124. The calls are automated/robo calls instructing the consumer to call or be sued or arrested. 8322417072,4695060124

Recorded message saying they will calling on unpaid taxes, gave a claim # and said this need to be handled quickly. Very bad recording. I knew the IRS would not be calling and questioned the cell phone for the IRS

They were asking for a call back on the 570-691-5179 to resolve the issue.

We didn't answer the call since it was out of our area code. Caller left message saying she was from IRS and it was urgent to call the number (714-705-0709) asap or have our lawyer call. Time sensitive. Do not delay, Do not ignore this message. The voice was female but it was obviously computerized. It started talking immediately when our answering machine started the message.

Have received several phone calls today alone, 10:05, 2:46, and 2:48 telling us to call this number 1-816-253-6036, immediately, "we owe" them money, or they "will have us arrested today." And to have a nice day. We know this is a scam, as we owe nothing to the IRS, and we have seen the warnings on the news, as well as many friends have also been getting these calls in the last few days. Some have actually spoken to a person, and asked them to not call back, and been sworn at, and told that they can't be stopped. Usually a foreign accent person on the other end, and their English is very poor. This is not the first time we have received this kind of call, it is about the 3rd or 4th time we have received the same kind of call in the last few months. Why can't these people be stopped? We have something called Blacklist on our cell phones, and I block as many calls as I can, but we get calls daily that are scam calls. It is so annoying, we actually got rid of our land lines, and now they are calling our cell phones. We just can't even answer our phones anymore. It's like we have to hide from every call, and call our friends, doctors, and family back. We don't seem to have any rights, or privacy anymore. Very sad. They are the ones with all the rights, and we have none at all. Something is not right with this. Why to they have all the rights, and we, the consumer, have no rights at all???

Final Notice before Lawsuit to get more info about case file. Call back at 206-456-1007. This was left on a voice message. I answered one call & told them I wasn't interested. They said they were from IRS Washington DC & my caller ID said Seattle WA.

BBB received a call from a Consumer who received a voicemail from the IRS stating this was the last time they were leaving her a message and they were filing a law suit against her.

803-346-0157 called claiming to be IRS. Stated that we needed to pay $8,000 by credit card immediately or they would send sheriff to our house in the next 45 minutes with an arrest warrant to arrest us.

Caller left message on my cell phone stating the IRS is suing me and to call immediately. I called them back on my work land line, the representative who answered stated he was with the IRS and he needed my name so he could look up my information. The phone # stated California, I asked him why he would leave me a message and again he said he needed my information to look up my file. I said NO and hung up on him.

The rep had been calling for month. I do not answers calls I don't know the rep gave his name and gave me my name. The rep stated that the IRS was filling Law suit that I owe the government, that I had not paid enough on my taxes. I asked the rep were was the letter that im to receive that states that I owe the IRS. The rep advised me that they tried mailing me the letters and they were returned. I asked the rep what address did they mail it to? The rep gave an off the wall answer, I advise the rep that was not my address( because I have been living in the address for years and that should show on my tax return) I advised the rep that I was also a profession tax preparer. The rep got upset and ask me was I poor or rich and if I could give him a dollar. I hung Up please if you pay attention to this web site please people ask allot of good question Phish for thing that they should automatically Know.

They were the IRS and I was told that there was a warrant out for my arrest and in 2 hours I would have to pay 90,000.00 and spend 90 days in jail. But if I paid them 1100.00 and some change they would take care of it.
