I was advised there's a warrant for my arrest and my address is under federal investigation. When I asked what I was being investigated for, he ignored me,instead asking me if I've been contacted yet by local law enforcement. When I pressed him on what I was being investigated for he hung up. I spoke with Jason Scott who gave a fake badge# MJ2526. I reported them to the FTC & TIGTA (treasury inspector general for tax administration).

Received call today from "unknown" number and an automated message that the IRS was suing me and this was the final attempt to contact me. I was instructed to call 585-492-8476 and when I did a person with accent answered "IRS." When I said I had a message to call regarding a lawsuit, he immediately asked for my social security #. When I told him no and that I would be reporting him to the authorities, he hung up on me. I did NOT provide any information about myself or my social security number.

Received a voicemail by a number claiming to be "IRS" stating that they were being sued. Upon calling, "IRS" stated victim would be arrested and face legal charges if back taxes go unpaid. Stated the victim's address, phone number, etc. Later, "IRS Account Manager" became disgruntled, cussing, stating he was from Pakistan. No victim account information actually obtained.

Received a call from a man claiming to be from the IRS and that we owed the IRS for several years of taxes. The phone number on our Called ID was 561-208-3049 or 612-208-3049. I hung up before learning how much money was trying to be extorted and told the man I'd check with our tax accountant..

I received an automated phone call from the "IRS" stating they will be suing me if I do not comply. Knowing this is a scam, I did not call back.

They are calling to say you are being sued by the IRS. They are coming to get your house if a certain amount of money is not paid. I called them on it and hung up. Then they had the nerve to call me back again for the same thing. I hung up and the third time I told them if they didn't stop calling me I was going to have them for harassment and they told me to get someone who could speak English it was very important. I then hung up again.....

IRS called saying there is going to be a lawsuit unless I paid $1985.93 the day they called or next day. The IRS said they couldn't give any documentation about it until payment is made. They said I could pick up documentation at courthouse after I made the payment. They also mentioned it had to be an online payment, because they don't take cashier check or paper checks. I didn't give them any money, because I wanted proof before I made any kind of payment.

Received a call from someone saying that I owed the government money for a "hot check" and that they are going to serve papers on me.

They called from a local number (903-270-1749) and a Chicago number (872-206-3701) but had a foreign accent which I could not place.

They have called several times and never let me speak, they always shout at me and tell me to listen. I told them that they had to listen to me and I do not owe any money. At this point they became threatening and said that they know where I work and live and would be coming to collect from me unless I pay immediately. I know this is a scam as I have never written a bad check and I'm also not working, so how can they know where I work.They had my name and the last 4 of my social security number.

Gentleman received a call (442.229.3644) from "IRS" claiming that he had failed to pay from 2008 to 2012 and owed $5250. Filing lawsuit against him.

Kept informing him that the call was being recorded and asking him what he was willing to do the resolve what he owed.

The person on the phone told him that his name was Allen Walker and his case number was 1RM518425.

The gentleman knew the caller was lying and hung up.
