Litfad is a SCAM!

Litfad publishes false advertisements online, using high-quality images and perfect descriptions to sell products at high prices. However, what they deliver to customers are useless, poor-quality items with no product manuals or quality inspection reports. They insist they sent the correct items, refuse to take responsibility for quality issues, and deny refunds or returns. They are complete scammers!

I purchased a stone-top dining table and six dining chairs from their website, Litfad.com. After waiting nearly 2 months, I only received the chairs. When I opened the shabby packaging, I was shocked. I have never seen such terrible quality. The chair frames were made of flimsy, poorly welded iron sheets, covered in rust. The upper part was wrapped in cheap faux leather with no filling or support inside. The entire chair is a significant safety hazard.

December 5th 2024 at 9pm, they delivered the stone top dining table, drop off 2 parcel boxes and gone, they don’t let me do inspections because they are just a delivery company. Then I opened one of the small box to find out 4 pieces of wood in very light weight, and 2 pieces are broken. Some large wooden surface is moldy and roughly made and splintery. Also there is no assembly instructions no screws.

An item was ordered from the litfad.com site and was never delivered. When inquireies were made about the status of item, purchaser was informed the order was complete. Additional communications with the company requesting the item or a refund were alledgedly escelated with the inplication the company would reach out withing a 48hour window to the customer with resolution. No action was taken by company to contact the customer. Attempts at contacting the company for followup were met with the same level of effort. Will be pursuing issue with customer's bank and pursueing as fraud/scam.

Litfad is a complete scam company. I didn't realize it until after I unknowingly placed an order through them thinking they were an entirely different company with almost the identical name. When I reached out by phone I was put into an automated loop and couldn't get a live person on the phone. I had to search all over the internet to even find a telephone number to speak to someone there. I also used the chat feature and had an AI bot continuously offer me a 5% discount or 15% discount when I haven't even received anything yet. What's sickening is that google, a trusted site and browser has them showing up on top of the feed when I was doing my search. Why would google allow a scam company to even be sponsored and show up on top this way?

I purchased a small floor lamp from them and they delivered the wrong size (large). I couldn’t keep it because it was entirely way too huge for my bedroom.

I showed them the photos that clearly showed their mistake. I have not used the items at all, which I communicated. They responded saying that the size they sent was correct and they would send me 5% back instead of the full refund I requested which is ludicrous.

I even recently came across horrible reviews about them, one in particular from a man who revealed the back and forth emails on a video—exposing their neglect, fraudulence and unwillingness compensate the customer that has all the proof to support the customers claims. It was gut wrenching.

After that, I realized that I had done business with the wrong company and I wouldn’t get my money back without force.

They sold a "desk" and shipped me an entirely different item made of plywood and arrived very damaged, their policy states they will refund and allow returns for damaged items but when I reached out multiple times they refused.

Worst Quality Products, Asked for 5 Star Review Before Proecessing Partial Refund

Bought a light for $1100+ and it was nothing but some fabric covering some unpainted wires. Not to mention, it arrived completely damaged. A friend had a similar experience.

They offered to refund if I shipped it back to China and pay customs fee. Of course this is not feasible as the broken item is big and they know it. They probably won't refund anyway.

Wrote Amex and they won't help despite fraudulently bad product as they offered to refund. Amex said quality is not their responsibility, which is true, but protecting customers from having paid $1000 for a $5 product should be.

I had no choice but to accept Litfad's offer for a 50% refund. BUT THEY REQUIRED ME TO CHANGE THIS REVIEW TO 5 STARS BEFORE THEY WILL PROCESS! See below: "we need you to modify the star rating to 5 stars or rewrite a 5-star review so that we will have the authority to submit the 50% refund application.We won't ask you to lie and claim that our product is perfect. You can provide feedback on your real experience, just show that you are satisfied with our processing results and give us five stars"

I wanted to purchase some chairs and just googled on the internet. A website called Litfad was showed as a search result. It looks like they have pretty chairs with relatively low prices. I purchased 6 chairs online and paid about $250 including shipping fee. Then I waited long time and note that the products are shipped from China. I waited for over a month and received the chairs. However they are shoddy products not worth the money and different from what showed on the website. I sent a couple of emails to their customer service claiming full refund. The ridiculous thing is that the person is trying to convince me to accept 20% refund, otherwise they would charge me an expensive return shipping fee. I did research online and noticed that many people have the similar experience as me and they think Litfad is a scam on Reddit. Just want someone to stop letting this website selling products in case more people get scammed.

This company sold us the following item described on their site “Elegant Metal Rectangular Plant Stand with Resistant Finish”. After 6 weeks the items arrived in a box with several tears in it, with damaged items, extremely poor quality metal, with all screws loose in the box and it was impossible put to put this together. The holes were incorrectly drilled, and there were no instructions. We sent photos – both before opening the package, and after opening the package. We have never seen such a poor quality item in all of our lives, and we have the relevant pictures as proof. – After contacting LITFAD they offered the following:
6th August 2024 – A new set of screws! – We rejected this of course and asked for 100% refund.
7th of August 2024 a 5% Refund and a replacement. – REJECTED we asked for 100% refund.
7th August 2024 a 20% refund and an offer to not pay return shipping. - REJECTED we asked for 100% refund.
8th August 2024 a 30% refund or 15% and replacement broken parts. - REJECTED we asked for 100% refund.
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! – THEIR ‘WORDING’ ON THE CORRESPONDENCE IS NOT CLEAR ENGLISH which is worrying.
We have confirmed we will NOT accept anything other than a 100% refund, and that we are contacting Trading Standards and Citizens advice. We have had NO Response from LITFAD.

I was looking to buy a fireproof four drawer filing cabinet to keep our valuable papers, money, and jewelry, etc. in it. After much searching on the Internet I found what I thought was the perfect cabinet on Litfad. It was listed as four lockable drawers a most important it was fireproof. So I used my debit card and purchased the cabinet for $319.86. it took about a month to receive the item in which I was starting to get concerned. When it arrived, my wife and I opened the box and were just sick at what I saw. All the metal parts had to be put together. While laying the pieces out we found piece after piece with dents and dings and some pieces were to damaged to use. Then, after the inspection, I realized that there was no fireproof insulation. This made me furious. So I sent an email to the company and they only wanted to give me 5% of my money back. Over a period of about a month they would say, ok how about 10%, 20%, etc. I was really upset with these people. So I couldn't ship it back to China because of the weight of it. So they were pretty much stuck at 50% refund. After I thought about it I knew they were losing out too. So I offered the sum of 80% and they finally agreed to it. But my hopes were dashed because it's two weeks later and they want me to fill out a review and give them five stars. So I said no, not until you pay me what you owe me. But this is where we are.

I ordered an item from this site on April 13, 2024 and it has yet to be delivered in full and in good condition. I’ve asked repeatedly for my money back or for a new item to be sent that is not completely damaged. I’ve not been able to get any clear updates and at this point in time, I just want others on the internet to be aware of this terrible company.

I’ve been trying to get an issue resolved with Litfad for 2 months. We ordered several items from them, and one of them was an item that arrived damaged due to insufficient packaging. When we placed the order, we chose to pay extra for “shipping insurance” and according to their website they would refund or replace the item if anything happened to it during shipping. We contacted Litfad immediately to notify them, sent pictures, etc. Days later, we received a message from them to which they were confirming that we “received our item”… not addressing the damage issue at all. No one from the company has gotten back to my multiple emails asking for them to replace the damaged item or refund us our money. At this point we have already had to purchase a different item from another company since it’s been over 2 months, and they really should arrange to take the damaged item back and refund us our money. After my experience, I did some research about the company and it appears that they have scammed thousands of other people as well (other online complaint and review forums confirm that). I have had to contact my bank/credit card company to step in and try to do a chargeback to get my money back from Litfad, hoping that it works out.

The company sent an item that does not match the description on line. It was very poor quality and had dents, scratches, and missing paint job. I reached out to customer service and they started asking if I can fix the item myself(all metal) and negotiated refund starting at 5%. The website does not have any customer review but upon searching website for the company other customers have voiced their negative experiences. They all stated the same issue. Company never gave full refund and sent out poor quality items. That's where the company was making profit. Scamming off customers by sending poor quality items and only giving small percentage of refund.

I had ordered a piece of furniture from Litfad.com. After waiting for 7 weeks after the furniture arrived it was completely damaged. I immediately contacted the manufacturer. Instead of owning upto the mistake they refused to pay for the return shipping and take the product back. They kept insisting on giving replacement parts which is completely unacceptable. In this case the entire piece of furniture was poorly manufactured and damaged. They clearly stated on their website that if a product is RECIEVED damaged the shipping company in this case litfad would be responsible for the shipping fee which they completely denied. I am not the only customer they have done this with there are several others. Don’t do business with this company at all. I would say they should be barred from selling their products in the USA

Furniture was terrible quality, not at all what's advertised on their website. Wooden parts were so poorly manufacured, looked like made by kids. Stay away from them!

If I could give negative star rating I would.
Bought set of bedside drawers. Arrived with no screws to put the thing together, all parts chipped, shoddy, cheaply made, items not fit for purpose. Customer services got to 40% discount if I keep them, obviously told them no. Absolutely Sh*** products and company.

In reply to your response about your so called VIP customer service which I presume stands for VASTLY INADEQUATE PRODUCTS customer service as it is none existent, not customer focused whatsoever. I have been in touch with them and to no avail at this juncture. And It it not one screw that may have fallen out of the packaging it is the whole bag of screws and fixings.

If they think I am actually going to change my review they are deluded. They have just proved themselves as a charlatan company and will try and bribe customers for their benefit. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

A desk was ordered from litfad.com on Aug of this year and the product they sent was broken even after resending it again. Clearly the quality is so bad that it could not survive shipping. I asked them for a full refund, but they refused, asking for the parts back which would have cost me at least the same amount I originally paid for it sending it back to Hong Kong.

I ordered a wall lamp for my bathroom, and this time I didn't take time to check reviews about the seller.
On the website, the item looks really classy (the price is rather high, in comparison whith what you find in french shops), but in reality what you see on the website is just nice 3D pictures, which are nothing to see with the real product. I received, straight from China, a defective LED wall lamp, made from the lowest quality standards you can imagine.
The customer service is really annoying, they do answer, but they do not answer your requests. After 35 emails exchanged, and a video I was forced to shoot to prove the product does not work, I was being offered a 40% refund for a non working product... After reviewing my experience on TrustPilot, they offered to refund 60%, but in exchange I have to withdraw my review and give them 5 stars! They are pitiful, do not loose your time and money with these scammers!

I came across their website through an online search. Products seemed of great quality, legit. I was told delivery would occur 3 weeks later. 3 weeks came, nothing. They told me 2 more weeks. 2 more weeks came and kept using excuse that it would take 12 weeks even though that’s not what their website said. When I asked them to cancel order and refund me, within hours delivery showed up on my doorstep. There were no instructions attached and they emailed me instructions in Chinese. When I assembled it, it was NOT what I ordered. Something entirely different and when I stood it up (bookshelf) it instantly snapped down the middle and collapsed. Bearing 0 additional weight just as it was. I proceeded to call and email but demanded I take a photo, put it back in its original packaging and pay for someone to come pick it up and ship it to back to them. Shattered into thousands of pieces. I laughed. I sent them the picture of damaged product and told them to send someone to collect their trash from my driveway. Nobody did. For 6 months I fought with them and my credit card company as I later found out through a search online that this is a fraudulent company scamming people of their money. I’ve supplied endless amounts of proof to the credit card company on a number of occasions. I eventually gave up giving the same argument every 3 weeks. This company has been reported to the fbi, IRs and more and won’t stop until they are removed so they can stop scamming people like me. I’m out $800. Something I could’ve used towards paying bills, investment, putting food on the table. Anything else. Something I’ll never get back ever again.
