After ordering a desk on 6 June 2023 - now almost 2 months later - NOTHING. I wish I’d checked the scam index first as I normally do. Previous reviewer correct - the tracking platform is also a scam! Don’t think twice or think “this won’t happen to me” - just don’t order - period. If it ever arrives (hahaha), well, actually it won’t. Now lodged a complaint with bank and they are trying to get my money back. Uuuggggh now looking for another desk!

I ordered a coffee table. The box was completely destroyed on arrival. The tabletop was damaged. The table was poor quality, it was very cheaply made. They refused me a full refund. I was told the best they could offer was 40% of my refund but I had to keep the damaged table. My only other option was to return it and cover the shipping cost. Upon receipt of the table, Litfad would issue me a refund after deducting the shipping cost they spent when sending it out to me even though it arrived damaged. They acknowledged and accepted that they are responsible for the condition the table arrived in but they were not accepting financial responsibility for it. I’ve never heard anything more ridiculous in my life. They are scammers and the website should be shut down.

The website litfad.com looks incredibly legitimate. Even says verified by the BBB. Even has option for Klarna payments. But there are absolutely no mention that the item will have to be built separately. On other review websites (ie Trust Pilot) there are 1 star reviews with customers saying the item does not match the quality shown in the photo. The website has no means of putting your own review. I placed the order on 4/21/2023. The standard shipping on their website says to western US it will take 25-30 days, but through email the customer service says delivery date is now 7/03/2023.

If ever I buy a piece of furniture from this company again, it will be because I’ve been afflicted with dementia, and I can’t remember the excruciatingly agonizing experience I’ve just had with them.
I ordered a pair of night tables from them. They looked beautifully designed and were just what I needed. I didn’t mind that I had to wait two months for delivery. The company did not help with tracking, but I could track their progress by checking the updates of the cargo ship. I am resourceful. However there were no assembly instructions. After contacting them, they sent poorly drawn, wordless instructions. My son, who has engineering skills, came to the rescue, and the first table was eventually assembled. The craftsmanship was shoddy, but the price was so reasonable that I overlooked that.
The real problem occurred with the second table. They shorted me on hardware. Contacting them led to weeks of frustrating email exchanges and no hardware. The hardware was proprietary, or at least impossible for me to find at the many hardware stores I trudged to. Not to be found online either. So I was left with a pile of lumber. All they needed to do was mail 4 small pieces of metal, the missing hardware. They promised. They even said they mailed them and offered a 10% refund. They lied. After weeks of waiting, when the hardware didn’t arrive and the refund wasn’t posted and my pleas for attention to the hardware problem was ignored to the point of being ghosted, I filed a claim with Paypal. This is when their knives came out. They called the missing hardware an “order” and wanted to charge me for it. I informed Paypal this wasn’t accurate. They negotiated with Paypal. The terms were I would pack up everything and mail it all back to China. Besides this meaning that the first table would have to be dis-assembled, the cost of shipping both units back to China was sizeable. Prohibitive. I’d be out of the initial order money, plus this. And all for the sake of four inset nuts. So I lost my claim to PayPal and had to put up with snotty emails from Litfad that amounted to a veritable thumbing of the nose.

LITFAD SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS IN THE UNITED STATES. I ORDERED A TABLE IN OCTOBER 2022 FOR A CLIENT THAT HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED. THEY DO NOT HAVE A CONTACT PHONE NUMBER. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AVAILABLE, AVAILABLE BY EMAIL COMPOUNDS LIE UPON LIE... EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE THEIR RESPONSE IN WRITING. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DO NOT DELIVER PRODUCT. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF NEGATIVE REVIEWS ILLUSTRATING THE SAME PROBLEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. THIS COMPLANY IS UP TO SOMETHING ILLEGAL AND SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.

Litfad offer genuine products. Poor quality and damaged upon arrival. Their trick is to deliver globally from china which they do not make transparent and the refund is non refundable and their is no means of returning bit of course you don't know this until you wonder where the product is. Then if you review their terms it because obvious that you don't receive your product within the 14 day window and due to Bulky items your stuck with a product that took 7 weeks to deliver and they refuse a refund.
They advertise heavily on Google ads and are an Amazon Associate which means they are a far reach so I reported them to Google ads and Amazon where i have now been told the VIP team from litfad will be in contact.
On reviewing trust pilot and other reviews the theme is the same for 83% of buyers.

I ordered a rug from Litfad on 18/2 it arrived on 3/3 I opened it only to discover that it had printing errors on it and the process used to heat seal it left it with ridges lots of them. I emailed them with photos they offered me 5% refund to keep it after about another 10 emails this went up to 40% but as it was faulty and defective I wanted a full refund. They advised me to return the item at my cost over £52 and they would refund me the cost of the rug but no shipping or ins costs either way. I returned the rug with a tracking number as advised it reaches customs. Litfad then advise that they will not pay as and duties to receive the item back - after I had sent it! After about another 50 emails my credit card have paid me out. This company has no care or consideration for customers i fact I think it trades in substandard items knowing
That it’s so much hassle to return items so people just walk away not wanting to through good money after bad . DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CORRUPT. At no point did they want to help me. It’s one of the worst experiences I have had and very stressful be warned! This is a scam company

This is a scam... items never arrive, but your money has left for China. They say they have tracking but they do not. They say your item comes in 30 days, but it does not. They are liers and thieves.

I purchased a lighting product with the company called LitFad, and it turns out to be a Fraudulent company and website. When I asked for a refund I wasn't able to contact anyone except by email. Still didn't get any justice. I then did some research and found out that they were a Fraud.

This is an incredibly unprofessional retailer. The quality of the light I purchased was subpar and the bulb covers do not fit once a bubble is placed in the socket. I conacted support and was informed that my concern was not sufficient reason to return the product even though the thought a 60 day money back guarantee on their site. I should have suspected the $155 price tag for a sconce was too good to be true. I will never order from this retailer again. Amazon and other companies should reconsider vendor relationships with them.

We had the same experience as everyone else here - had to wait 7 weeks for a substandard product that was also damaged. We also took out their insurance - probably another part of their scam! They will only refund 40% or we have to send it back to Hong Kong at our cost. We need to get the word out and get this company banned

WHEN WE CHAT WITH THEM, THEN THEY WILL SAY THE ORDER TAKES 5-7 WEEKS TO GET DELIVERED. BY THEN IF WE ASK FOR CANCELLATION THEY SAY THAT THE CANCELLATION IS IN 24 HOURS.

Upon receiving and inspecting my purchase of a writting desk, it was clear that 95% of the boards were damaged.

I've contacted with a request to return this product for a refund. They are giving me the run around asking for "more detailed" pictures than the perfectly suitable photos I had sent previously. Litfad is purposefully making this process difficult.

The photos I have downloaded here are only a small portion of the overall damage.

After reading reviews about Litfad I am now aware that my situation is not unique. Litfad should be band from sales in the U.S..

Litfad.com is a well designed website that ranks high in shopping sections of search engines. They draw you in with competitive prices and a variety of guarantees on products and delivery. They are operated by Baycheer International Limited out of Hong Kong. I shop often from Hong Kong but usually have a good experience. Litfad.com took my order on 10/28/2022 with guaranteed delivery by 11/21/2022. I ordered 8 pieces of modern minimalist office furniture. On 12/09/2022 I received two small filing cabinets from my order. They were as described but were the least expensive part of my order. The remaining 6 items (two desks and four tall glass front cabinets) were never sent. I went back and forth with the online chat support and email. I was repeatedly told the items had shipped and I was provided tracking numbers that did not work on the tracking website they provided. I waited 50 days past the guaranteed delivery date to request a refund for the remaining 6 items. They pressured me and assured the items would arrive in a couple more days. I did get 6 boxes on 01/17/2023, the boxes contained Rococo style mirrors, benches, and Knick knacks made of plastic. A far cry from the modern minimalist metal, glass, and stone office furniture I had ordered. Please be warned. This company is not interested in working with customers, setting realistic expectations, or communicating. They have no phone number, the 24/7 live chat tells you to email the [email protected] which takes days to respond and will either respond negligently or fraudulently.

This company litfad should be closed down and I have reported them to trading standards and consumer regulator. The dining table i ordered took 8 weeks to arrive was not as described and poor condition. I tried to get a refund but the max they would offer was 40% or i could return but had to pay my own return costs and I wasnt guaranteed a full refund then. They are unprofessional and a disgrace do not use

Litfad is junk what a waste I paid for a light that never was shipped to me . I have tried so many different ways to work this out and nothing Litfad just keeps running me around hopping I give up and they will just keep my $250 . Your nuts if you buy anything from them please look at there reviews before you buy that was my big mistake .

Sent defective product, never replaced with working product, would not reimburse 100% for product that never worked even after multiple months of back and forth and waiting

I purchased an office chair from the Litfad website on August 24, 2022, and paid with my credit card. I received the invoice via email, and it contained a link to a Chinese carrier to track the package. As time passed, I noticed the status of the package was never updated on that site, therefore, on November 1st and after more than two months of waiting, I contacted Litfad to request a cancelation of the order.

I noticed the company does not have a phone number listed therefore I sent them an email. Litfad replied that they have a no-cancelation policy on their website and kept telling me, that the chair was dispatched. I kept asking them where the chair was but kept getting the same answer.

On November 10th I received the chair delivered by FedEx, it was obvious that the package was poorly taped, and the box was wet and torn. When I opened the box, I noticed the chair was damped by the water leaking inside, and to add to the disappointment, the color of the chair was not even close to what I have ordered. I ordered baby blue leather, and I received a teal color chair.

The same day, I contacted Litfad to request a refund and instructions to return the item. They first asked for pictures which I provided via email in a zip file. They then replied that they could not open the file, so I had to resend them individually. They replied asking me to circle on a JPEG where was the chair wet! consider that the pictures I sent were high resolution and there is a picture where is noticeable the water on the leather in contrast with my hand.

After much back and forward, they offer to reimburse me 20% of the cost of the purchase and I could keep the chair. Since I refused, they then replied offering 30%. I explained that I did not pay $300 for a Chair that arrived soaked and wet and I demanded a full refund since their website has a return policy for damaged items.

Once I received their email with their instructions for the return, I almost choked at the fact that they were asking me to ship the chair to an address in Hong Kong. This would have cost the same if not more than the chair itself. I want to mention that I checked their website and in the "Our Guarantees" section "Where do I send returns?" it does not mention anything about returning to an address overseas.

This is their statement in that section, "For the item, if you need a return, please contact our customer team before. Litfad will not be responsible for returned item(s) without notifying us in advance."

I began researching this company and found several complaints on different sites including the Better Business Bureau. It appears they are running a "Refund and Recover scam", where they sell products to other countries and avoid issuing refunds by making an unrealistic request of returning the goods overseas. Hence, forcing the buyer to keep the unwanted, incorrect, faulty, damaged item or lose their money.

I would like to request an investigation of this company and hope that this department can prevent companies like this one from doing business in the United States.

This company is a fraud. I paid nearly $2,000 for a rug and table from Litfad. Waited two months for delivery. The products delivered bear no resemblance to the online images. Now I read up on the company and learn it is a fraud. Have exchanged dozens of emails and they refuse to refund me.

I’ve lost $2,000 and am angry and embarrassed to have been scammed. I need that money back. The products are not only fraudulent knock-offs, but they are dangerous and unusuable. Can’t even attach the table top to the bases. The company suggests I drill holes into the table top, which will not work, because the bolts are threaded. The items are unusable and now they say I need to ship everything back to China. This is supposedly a UK company. I’ve read about them scamming thousands of people.

The product received was damaged. The site states that refunds and returns are accepted, however, is not accepting or providing a resolution. They are trying to make me ship the item back to china, however, they state they have a US warehouse. Shipping to China would be more than I paid, and they are not allowing me to return or give me a refund which indicates it was a scam from the beginning.
