I’m not gonna lie it looks just like a government website! They even let you email them if you don’t get your PDF file, right way! the guy will respond to you and send you your specific PDF file which made me think nothing of it! Even followed up with a confirmation email to make sure you got it!

The only reason that I became suspicious is because a few hours of not getting the confirmation email I called the government customer service number to let them know they told me they had never heard of the site! And the form is free and you only have to pay when your at the post office in person

wanted to get my passport for the first time and needed to get the application. went to google and google sent me to this site. Site had me enter all information i would enter for applying for a passport. name, gender, occupation, travel plans, Social Security Number, address, email, date of birth, parents names and DOB, birthplaces, height, hair color, etc. then it takes you to a page where it asks for payment info for a charge of around $86, which i entered my credit card info. bank emailed me about suspicious activity shortly after and Post office told me this was fraud. This was listed as EASY-FORM-FILLER**** on my bank statement, as apply.pass-travel-usa**** and usdocs-state**** on google. DO NOT USE THIS SITE YOU ARE PAYING FOR YOU NOTHING MORE THAN GIVING YOUR IDENTITY AWAY.

I googled renew US passport online and the 1st link was for ****************. I did not notice the .com as it appeared to be a Dept. of State website as stated in the address. After clicking the link i was redirectes to pass-travel-usa.com without my noticing. The website appeared to be a Dept. of State website. I followed the link to renew my passport and filled out the application with all of my personal information. I was then asked for my credit card information. I assumed it was for the application fee. After being charged $88.83, I found out this was a private company who took all my information and simply put it on the application that is free from the Dept. of State. This is extremely misleading and unethical business practices. I got scammed and if I lost the $88.83 so be it. However, I want all my personal information deleted from their systems Immediately. They only offer a form to fill out to contact them, and they do not reply. There is no phone number or address I could find. They are posing as a government agency and stealing people's money

I was attempting to renew my passport and thought I was on a government website. I was on a website that was impersonating a government website. I filled out the application form and gave personal details, including my Social Security number, and paid a fee. I realized afterwards that it was not a government website. my credit card caught the charge and canceled it.

I went to apply for a passport renewal for my daughter (a minor) and when I googled for directions, this site appeared (not as a sponsored site but something else): *********************************/. I went ahead and filled out the form, which included PII: Name, DOB, SSN, passport numbers & issuance date; my DOB and name and that of my husbands. When I hit 'submit' a payment box popped up. I didn't submit payment and started the process to report fraud. I am now concerned that my daughter's information will be used in identity theft.

Displayed as sponsored top hit on Google.com. Appears to be legitimate website looking like a government entity.

Passport renewal, asked all PII, then charged for renewal.

- Port Deposit, MD, USA • Feb 08, 2024

The website asks for your full legal name, address, phone number, email, social security number, emergency contacts and the same information is requested for those contacts. It also asks about previous passport history including the above information listed and passport book number. Once you proceed, they then ask for payment and to submit the application.

- Boston, MA, USA • Jan 29, 2024

This website attempts to impersonate a government website for passport renewal and prompts you to enter personal information and charges for what would be a free service through the government website.

Impersonated a government agency. Tiny disclaimer.

Found https://pass-travel-usa.com/us-passport/ as a result of doing a Google search for "Passport renewal". They are a fraudulent website impersonating the United States Government and duping people out of their money under the pretense of applying for a passport renewal.

I needed to renew my passport and went to a very authentic looking site: https://apply.pass-travel-usa****. I checked to be sure the site was secure.

I filled out a long form that asked all of the expected questions for passport renewal. Unfortunately I entered a lot of personal private information, including my DOB, place of birth, my SS#, my passport # and date of issuance, my parents names and places of birth, husband's name and DOB, etc

The site then asked for payment on a very authentic looking payment page, even with notation about encryption for payment. I tried to enter CC# and it wasn't accepted- said "insufficient funds" which was odd. I then tried my debit card which also was not accepted. Then I got a text from my bank warning about a suspicious attempt at a charge. I searched for info about the site and saw your ScamPulse.com warning about this exact site and realized my error. Very upsetting. This was a more sophisticated scam site than I've ever seen before. I've never fallen for something like this before and wish I'd seen your warning earlier.

Came up first on google search for passport renewal

- Barberton, OH, USA • Jan 05, 2024

Website immediately popped up with searching for passport renewal forms. Site look, colors and layout are similar to U.S Department of State website. Site asked for personal identifying information for passport renewal. Asked for unrelated information such as parents maiden names. Collected $68 dollars under the assumption that you were paying for the application fee and printed the same documents that were provided for free on U.S. Department of State website.
