The scam is a beautiful website which claims to simplify the process of getting a passport, hiding the fact that all they do is fill out a form using an automated tool, save your ssn and data, and then ask you for 80 dollars. The website also claims to be able to "expedite" a passport, which is a legit service the government offers for people who need their passport asap. It can't actually fulfill this offer. After paying I received a form with all my info on it, and instructions for taking the form to a legit service which will do my passport. The website is employing manipulative tactics to extract personally identifiable information, and credit card info. Furthermore, the website evidently saves information such as the SSN, so that reloading the website returns a filled-in webpage with the SSN and info.

I was attempting to renew my passport and googled online passport renewal, as I knew that was a new method the government is offering. The first link on google was the fraudulent site and I clicked on it not thinking. I completed the form and submitted payment, only to realize too late that it was a scam. I provided personal information that can result in identity theft.

Looks like a government website to submit online passport renewals, but it isn't. They collect all of your personal information and provide you with a packet which you can send to the government, along with your picture, etc. They charge you to fill out forms that are free government forms.

Hi I just paid $89 for a DS-11 form and found out it was fraud. Has your personal information been used since? I am worried about my SSN.

Was googling passport renewal and accidentally clicked on the sponsored link on my phone. The site took my money but more importantly personal information, including information not required to renew a passport.

Website pops up when you Google “passport renewal” and I accidentally clicked on that one instead of the government website. Gave all my personal information as well as credit card information and payment of $52 for a service never received.

This site is posing as a passport renewal company. Before I realized it was not a legitimate business I had given all of my passport information.

I immediately contacted my credit card company and the credit bureaus and began trying to do damage control to protect myself.

Please shut this site down!

Website offered expedited process to renew passport online. After payment was said and done we realized that it was not the government website and it was a third party website. Further google search showed reviews of the website being a scam.

I was in a rush to renew my passport and didn’t realize until i was in the payment section that this website is not legit. Good thing I didn’t proceed with the payment. I hope my information is still safe. I felt sick the whole thinking I gave away my personal information :(

Apply for online renewal for passport.

Charge 52.85. But no online renewal, can't renew online per my **********. Also on there web page says 24 support.

Call over the phone and there's a message of no one available please leave a message and they will contact me

I don't even know how it happened, but I thought I was on the State website filling out the form filler, but somehow I was on this website. I thought it was odd that I had to pay for this service, but I continued. I received the product I paid for and when I received the email and it wasn't from a .gov email address I panicked--sick to stomach panicked. I started searching frantically for this company and could not find anything. I have spent the day locking all of my stuff down. Do not pay to fill out forms that are normally free--I am hoping that my information is safe, but I can't be too sure.

This website was the first to pop up for filling out a passport application. It asked for all passport information, plus it took a application fee. Immediately ended up getting scam calls.
