Walter Lightner 241 Tiger Lilly Dr. Parrish FL 34219. I did not send any money. They had my address. Wanted to deliver my prize. I kept asking is this real? He was good. I did not send any money.

I received a phone message claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House saying I won $5 million dollars. A senior citizen, I've haven't entered any sweepstakes in many years and immediately got suspicious. The message instructed me to call back but I suspected the caller just wanted to get my social security number or other personal info. Instead, I called BBB.

I received a friend request on FaceBook from an old friend and accepted the request. Then, a day after accepting the request, i got a private Facebook message from the same friend, telling me that she won $400,000 from a Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes, and my name was also on the page. She gave me a number and said to text it, and inquire. My curiosity got the best of me, I called the number but hung up. Then I was texted from that number and was given a webpage to go to. I clicked on it, and indeed my name was on it. But instead of going further, I called that friend, who confirmed that she was hacked on Facebook, and she had not sent me the messages.

We received a call that my husband has won a Publishers Clearing House lottery prize of $3,500,000, plus $7500/month for life and a new Mercedes Benz car. My husband is an avid player of PCH contests so we actually answered the call,. After being told to press "1" for connection to a representative, there was a phone ring but no answer. We hung up, and quickly received a call back from a Mr. John Kelly, Sr. Vice Pres. of PCH. After a long conversation he sent an email with a large attachment. It was 10 pages of "documents" explaining that the ScamPulse.com highly endorsed our award, and congratulated us. It also informed us of fees that would be due to the IRS and the FDIC. In total about $20,000 would be due upon acceptance of the prize. The caller had a strange accent, possibly Middle Eastern. The errors in the alleged documents were what made me suspicious. There were numerous typos and grammatical errors, especially in the supposed letters from the IRS and BBB.

An individual called and said he was from the publishers clearing house, and we had won 1/2 million dollars, then he asked all kinds of questions about all our bills and credit cards, how we have done our shopping, did we own our house, our banking company and other questions. Then he told us to not tell anyone about this because they would take advantage of us. He said his name was Michacle Perkins, and they would deliver it on Thursday, July.

He (David Scott)told me his supervisor Todd, would call me right back with some questions, which were how do I feel?, Am I happy about winning?, Do I want to receive the money publicly or private? Then he (Todd) told me if I told anyone about this phone call I would forfeit my winnings. David Scott called me 7 times from another phone number 876-774-9884, when I did not answer, he called from a restricted phone and left me a message to please answer the phone this is David Scott.I feel everyone should know about this scam, attempting to ruin I perfectly good business by trying to pretend to be PCH.Thank you, respectfully Janice Stokes

We called them back but they didn't answer. We called them because we knew it was a SCAM but wanted to see what type of game they were playing. The scammers called my parent's house back within 5 minutes.

It was a man saying he was from Publishers Clearing House and wanted to know if we wanted to collect our prize money of $3.5 million.
