Pretending to be Apple Tech support
In the process of trying to report them to Apple, I called that bogus number. Someone answered, but when I started talking about TechCube, he hung up on me! When I tried to call back, they had blocked me from calling them. Now when I do a google search, that number does not come up. I called the real Apple, and told them about it.
Scammers posing as HP printer help service.
They are scammers; their phone number is listed as HP online. THEY ARE NOT HP
They told me my brand new computer was infected etc. and i needed malware software. I felt like a sucker after it was all done. Total BS. And now worried about security even though my passwords are changed etc. Horrible experience.

Scammed - I Believe a False Website
They told me there was a bot creating all these bad files and that my system would crash. They could fix that, no problem. Then they would install Norton or MalwareBytes for $199 + Tax. They logged into my computer, did their mumbo jumbo and "fixed" the problem. I'm concerned they now have my credit card number, which I put a hold on and reading other comments on here, I'm' very concerned about my bank account. I have no idea if they put some sort of tracking device on my computer to steal passwords and such.
Can't believe I fell for it. I am very good at figuring out scams. Really thought it was HP.
The website is: select-printer.site/printer-assistance. Didn't notice that. Looks very much like an HP website.
