I received a robo call on my cell today (June 15, 2017; 10:41 am) from 804-XXX-XXXX. Caller said my vehicle warranty was about to expire and did I wish to speak to their representative? I waited for directions for how to be added to their do not call list, but none was given so the caller repeated their question I said "Yes," thinking I could ask them not to call again but the caller disconnected w/o connecting me to a rep.

My sister tells me there is a scam where the caller asks a yes or no question & records yes answers as proof the household ordered a product/service, etc.

This just occurred today, so at this time I am unaware of any potential repercussions. Thank you.

Contacted by 13602416333 to try to record me saying yes, by an automated machine. I said nothing then called the number back. The man who answered the phone said that he has had his number choir seven years and wouldn't listen to me telling him that his number is being used to scam people. He said thank you at the end and I accidentally responded with *yep* so hopefully he isn't the bad guy and really has no idea. Otherwise I accidentally said the word he wanted me to.

I received a call. After I said hello a 'beep' was heard followed by a woman's voice asking "can you hear me." Based on my previous knowledge of this scam I said 'NO' and hung up. Therefore, I do not know the nature of the scam these lifeless, evil, bloodsucking people were attempting to pull.

A pre-recorded voice of a woman was on the phone offering a vacation package to Florida and the Bahamas for a low price and I just let her talk as if I was responding to her pauses. Anyway, I waited until the end of her talking and she asked something like, "Does this all sound good?". The robot wanted me to say "Yes" but I hung up. They can later use the "yes" to confirm transactions with my information. Just hang up.
