I am in the Rug Cleaning Business and received a text from a person wanting to have ten large area rugs sent to my place of business by personal delivery. Then they would ask if I would accept credit cards for payment. They then agree to the cleaning price and want me to accept credit card prepayment via text, then always wanting cash back. At first it sounds legit. BUT when I reject the DOWN payment or Pre-Pay they stop responding. .

Got a call stating his name was Kevin and asked if this was my name, I replied yes, we were then disconnected. I realized immediately what had happened. Unfortunately I let my guard down as I knew about this scam and had been targeted a few weeks ago. If you don't know the number just pick up and hang up to stop the ringing!

We immediately stared to see what we can to do to make sure we don't get charged for something we don't want. We are going to reup our Experion membership and contact our bank but are still worried we will end up in a battle.

This number would not tell me who they really were. They texted a friend to get information on me. I googled the number and it came up as allegiance telecom of michigan. When I brought up that company name they freaked out and said they would leave me alone.

I got a phone call asking if I was around by name. I replied this is he, then it asks again. I replied "speaking", it asks again. After me saying hello a few times it comes back to say "there is no message, we will try again later" and hangs up.

A phone call came through my son's phone number via bluetooth in the car. It was a local area code, so we assumed it was a pertinent phone call. The connection was not necessarily clear. We said hello and the caller asked if we could hear. I believe I said "yes" or "yep" and then they hung up. The phone call was made at 1:43 on Friday, May 12. Don't know if it was a scam or not -- but when I searched the number it had previous scam notifications -- not specific ones, but suspicious activity.

Caller asked for specific person in my office, we get lots of calls everyday so wasnt TOO odd, except that the guy had a horrible accent (India?) I put call on hold, When co worker picked up guy said * is this so and so* but he used the wrong last name. Co worker said WHAT? And he repeated SO and so but used her correct last name. She said YES and immediately he HUNG UP. I told her to watch her bank account closely for a while.. unsure what this was but it was NOT normal

The caller came up as a (404) area code, which is the same area code as my phone. The person on the other end, asks if you are (insert your name). I responded "you've got him," the caller hung up. Tried calling the number back multiple times and it's just busy. Didn't say "Yes" to the question, so I don't think they got what they wanted.

there is a phone scam about this and I didn't remember till it was to late. then they purchase things saying the

person said yes to it.

I haven't bought anything except in person.
