I received 3 texts from 61476 talking about a Walmart order and shipment. First, they had to "change my order" and secondly it said it was being delivered in 11 minutes. I didn't order anything from Walmart.

- Olympia, WA, USA

Was looking for cakes online, after using Walmart app I got a text message from 61746 saying "thanks for your custom cake order" even though I hadn't placed an order.

Spam emails for Walmart. Originate from Microsoft Azure.

-I received genuine fraud alert from my bank. Four debit card charges from Walmart totaling ~$500.

-Within a few hours I received a fake text from a number (61-47) saying Walmart shipment was on the way.

-I texted back STOP.

-I received confirmation reply that contained an 833 number. I called it. It perfectly mimicked Walmart's 800 customer service number, which I also called.

-The person I spoke to at the fraudulent number did not try to get personal information from me, but did instruct me not to return any packages I receive. He was very good. Scripts closely matched scripts at the real CS call center. Even the accents were the same.

-I later received a fake follow-up email asking how my customer service call experience was. (I didn't reply.)

-I later received a package delivery confirmation, despite my STOP notice.

-That day I did receive a package from Fedex in a Walmar-branded box. It contained two bottles of isopropyl rubbing alcohol.

-The next day I received another Walmart-branded package from Fedex. It contained three bottles of rubbing alcohol.

-The box labels said they were shipped from a Walmart in Indiana. A Google Maps search showed that address is a Walmart RETURNS Center. The phone number on the label was two digits off from the real phone number of that Returns Center. I called that number. Nothing.

-According to Fedex Tracking, the boxes were actually shipped from Vancouver, WA.

-It seems that people behind this want to create a paper trail of product deliveries to my home and that bottles of rubbing alcohol were shipped just for weight. Can't figure out motive for that since they presumably had real products shipped elsewhere. But that's the story.

Multiple texts from Walmart saying packages are on the way. Short code 61746. Reported to carrier. Was told to reply stop to stop receiving texts. I did. They haven't.

Fake text from 61746 saying it’s Walmart confirming an order. Phishing scam, did not click link.

Too many spam emails from Walmart for things I DO NOT NEED. STOP SPAMMERS.

A free drill email offer was from [email protected] posing as walmart

My daughter recieved notification that she won a set of non stick cookware and only had to pay shipping of approx $7.00. I let her use my debit card to pay the shipping only to find out now several weeks later that my debit card was billed approx $54 under the business name of Exceptional Gard...the full name was cut off so not sure of business name used.

the email said it was from Walmart.. that I had won a set of nonstick cookware.. click to receive it.. then I was taken to a sight that had a walmart logo to answer 8 questions about my visit to walmart... there were comments from others below on how simple this was to win theirs and some used it for a gift to someone else... after completing the survey I was going to have to pay $8.95 for shipping and I had to give them my credit card info to have it charged... after doing this I received an email from support@toponerewards to confirm and receive my prize... I sent the info to the email address and received a non delivered email that my info could not be delivered to that address so I call the number given and eventually talked with someone that said I had not won that prize and the money they had charged was not shipping, but an entry charge for me to enter their giveaway... and I would have been charged a monthly fee if I had not called my credit card people and they gave me a number to cancel my membership that I didn't even want and had no idea they were selling me since everything said I was paying for shipping for the product I had won...

Said I won Sony smart tv from Walmarts loyalty program. Just complete a survey and pay for shipping.

Said it was a Walmart survey, answer and win a new Sony 8k smart tv. Just pay shipping, $8.75.

BUYTODAYSTECHELECTRIC was what appeared on bank statement for the debit of 8.75. They have all my card info!

Email was titled "Confirmation Receipt" and said that I won a "brand new ultimate nonstick cookware for free" and included a link to "claim". The email also included that it was "In cooperation with Walmart."

I did not follow the link so I'm unsure what would be needed to claim the prize- I assume a gift card or personal information, etc.

You've been chosen!

Free Cookware, only pay shipping.

I fell for this a couple of weeks ago and sent in about $2, thinking it wouldn’t be too much to lose if fake. However, afterwards I began to think of the $$$ they would scam if 1000's paid the small ‘shipping’ charge.

I received an email, supposedly from Walmart, that I had been chosen to win a Ninja Kitchen System, free of charge, if I would fill out a survey and pay $1.49 for shipping.

After I filled out the survey and my credit card info, Allin's Deals Deluxe billed me $1.95, then tried to bill me an additional $89.95, which was declined, because I keep very little money on that particular card.

I'm stupid, but not THAT stupid.

This is the text:

David from Walmrt tried to reach you! The reason: We have a gift for you! narrowwant.com/uZi1qSH

So fake. Trying to use Walmart and if you are not careful will adk for personal information

I received a text message stating that I had unused Walmart points. I frequently shop at Walmart so I didn’t think it was a scam. They said that I could cash out my Walmart points if I did not wish to use them for online shopping. They stated that it would cost me only $2.00 to cash it out. I paid the $2.00 and shortly afterwards, they tried to take $100.00 out of my account. Thank goodness they were unable to do so. I wanted to warn people in case they get the same call.
