Annie Cloth Reports & Reviews (76)

I ordered three items after being bombarded by really cute clothing ads on the internet. I placed this order May 10th. After 30 days I wrote to Annie Cloth and they wrote back saying that I could track the order with a fake tracking number. This tracking number told me that my order had been received in South San Francisco and had been given to another carrier. That's where it ended. After writing to them 2-3 more times the order finally arrived July 10 - 60 days later!

The clothes were very thin & cheap and the sizing was completely off. I take a size Large and these 3 items were more like an American small! They gave lots of reasons why they couldn't refund my money from "two of the three items are non-refundable to you will have to return the 3rd item to China!" THIS IS A SCAM AND NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. I can see from reading all these complaints that the FBI and Attorney General needs to be involved. They are scamming people all over the United States - not just in California - but that's where I'm starting because of the return address on their bill of lading. This is the address (which our post office says is not a valid street): 216 Hattis Court, South San Francisco CA 94080.

It will be a cold day in hell before I order from any internet company that I've never heard of. There's another one bombarding me with emails - very similar - it's called WISH. Nope - not going there, sorry.

This company AnnieCloth Fashions has a very legit looking web site and sells very reasonably priced clothing and other items. However, no where on the web site did it say they were located in China and that they shipped from China. I purchased two dresses and it took nearly a month or so to finally receive them. Prior to their arrival I had emailed this company asking them what was taking so long for my shipment and was told because of the COVID-19 things were running slower than usual, etc. So when the package finally arrived I couldn't believe the awful and cheap quality of these dresses and also the sizing was so "off" they didn't fit and I wanted to return them.

In order to return them you have to go to their web site and find the "return/refunds" (I believe it said) and jump through a bunch of hoops just to get the "OKAY" to return items. By the way, the shipping bag they were shipped in said they were shipped from San Francisco, CA, not China! When they approved the return they said something to the affect that "it is going to cost you a lot to return the package because we are located in China". So I went to the USPS site to try to figure out how much it would cost to return the package and it was nearly 3/4 of what I paid for the purchase just to return it!! So of course I accepted their offer because it was either that or get NOTHING!!

THIS IS A SCAM!! I researched a web site for reviews of this site (made by customers just like me) and was SHOCKED to see how many other people had been given the same run around AND the same "15% return offer"!! THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED!! Can anything be done about this, it is clearly a rip-off. You can read the dozens and dozens of complaints almost identical to mine at:

trustpilot.com/review/anniecloth.com

Please contact me and let me know what, if anything can be done about these RIP-OFF ARTISTS!!

Please advise as to what action can be taken about this problem. So many people have already been ripped off by these creeps!

Also, I have a packing slip but was unable to scan it for you unfortunately.

Thank you,

Ads for women's clothing frequently pop up along the margin when I am reading other website pages online. One ad was for Annie Cloth. The blouses were attractive so I clicked on their website and ordered three items totalling $124. The money was instantly deducted from my credit card although it took five weeks for the items to actually reach me. They said the would send an e-mail when the items shipped. I never received such an e-mail and after three weeks I e-mailed them to ask about the status of my order. Two weeks later I received the three items via USPS. I immediately saw that I did not like the color of two of the items so I didn't even remove them from their clear plastic packaging. There was no return information with the order, just a receipt which said I needed to e-mail them for return instructions and address. I have since e-mailed them three times requesting that information. The packaging receipt says that I need to receive return permission and a return address label from the company, and that all returns must be sent within 15 days of receipt or the return won't be accepted. I received the package on July 6th and have e-mailed them three times since then requesting the return info. In their last response they said that their return processing center is in Gangzhou, China and that I would likely have to pay customs fees to ship a return and that it would take a very long time to receive a return, so they suggested that I accept an alternative which is that they would refund me 15% of the purchase price in order to save me the time and money of attempting to send the returned items. They still have not sent me a return address or return shipping label that their directions require. I believe they are simply running down the clock until 15 days are up, and have no intention of ever issuing a return for the unwanted items. I do not know what I can do about this, but thankfully the order price was not super large!

Placed an order on June 10,20. Contacted customer service via email three times to check status of order. One email said delivery would take 7 to 30 days. Eventually received order on 7/13/20. Very cheap quality, not true to size, (runs very small) and material is thin and cheap. Looking at the pictures of the models and description of the clothing causes me to think that the pictures are simply copied from reputable manufacturers and the clothing are knockoffs. I would not recommend this company. Order at your own risk. Do not order from this company. There was supposed to be a free pair of earrings which were not included in the order.

Annie Cloth appeared as a clothing retailer on my Facebook feed. Their website was very polished and professional. Their clothing looked great and was reasonably priced. I purchased a number of outfits for my son's wedding and they never came. It has been over 6 weeks. I asked for a refund and they said it was not possible because the order had been shipped. I have received NOTHING. Do not do business with this company.

Ordered over $400 of clothing, all described as linen. Some items arrived, many different from ordered, all labeled poly -cotton, and NONE styled and as described on website. Order was random. I attempted through email, website contact and paypal to receive a refund. I received this.

"All online purchases (except lingerie, swimwear, jewelry & accessories and final sale) through anniecloth.com can be returned within 15 days from the delivered date.

You have many final sale items which cannot be returned ....

Sorry that you are not satisfied with the item(s).

Please note that customers must respond to every email within 7 days. If not, we will close this case after the aforementioned deadline.

Our return center is located in Guangzhou, China.

According to our return policy, the customer is responsible for return shipping cost and any other related return charges (including possible custom fees). Your refund will be processed after our return center received and inspected the return package.

Since International returns might result in long waiting time and incur substantial return costs on your side, we recommend some alternative methods to resolve this issue.

We would like to offer you a 15% cash refund instead of returning the item(s). If there are any sizing issues, you can use this fund to alter the cloth.

If you still want to return the package, you should email us for a return label within 7 days, the aforementioned deadline.

You can check the return policy here: https://anniecloth.com/information/Refund%20Policy

***Kind reminder: Any addresses on the parcel are not approved as the return address.

Returned packages without an authorized return address from customer service representatives will not be refunded or exchanged. ***

Thanks for your patience! Please don't hesitate to email us if you have any questions."

I am reading online how many people have been scammed by this company, all of whom have not received what they ordered. Please help! They are advertising everywhere! I imagine they are making a mint off advertising fake clothing photos, only to send partial orders of very random poly clothing labeled as natural.

Ugh.

I ordered 4 shirt on May 28th and am still awaiting receipt of the shirts! It is now July 13th and I'm still waiting. When I contact the company I get an automated reply. I've written 5 times and have yet to hear from a live person and get a response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY -- THEY ARE TERRIBLE!

saw this ad on internet and loved the clothes I ordered. But I ordered these items in June 16,2020 and still have not received them. Have tried to contact the company by phone (816-548-2880) and they are not answering, sent email and they were suppose to get back within 48 hours and still nothing. I understand several people have had this same trouble trying to return items and can't get any results. Please help if possible. Please warn others not to order from this company. Thank you,

They do not refund you your money back even after they make you pay to ship the cloths back to China. It does state on there website that you have to send back to China for refund but then they do not honor this. They initially responded to me saying they had not received the item and I sent them the tracking info. 6 months later and they are not responding to me anymore.

On June 6th 2020 I made a purchase through Anniecloth.com due to the great price on summer dresses and t-shirts they had in the amount of $119.70. On June 15th I went online and noticed my items were shipped with a tracking number attached, so I decided to place a second order in the amount of $135.81 On June 20th I still hadn't received my first order and my 2nd order showed still processing on the Anniecloth website. I sent an inquiry via email and received an automated message asking to provide all of the info I provided in the first email. I did so a 2nd time. 24 hours later i received the same automated response yet again. Becoming upset I searched other ways to get into contact with this company and found there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE phone number anywhere on the website, or Google. I then used the tracking number they provided to check with USPS there website says my package was picked up by a shipping partner from South San Francisco. I called USPS and their automated system told me the same information but added that the package had not ever been received by USPS from the shipping partner. Forward to today I am still emailing the company to no avail, and my 2nd order 9 days after placing it says it's still being processed. I have now begun emailing them as well on the 2nd order to have them cancel it, and return my money. (Same automated message) is being received. So currently I am out close to $256.00. I ADVISE YOU DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHANCES AND ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. THE REVIEWS ARE TERRIBLE . usually I am careful about these things but let my guard down while on quarantine and this is what happens.

Autocorrect! My bank credited my account immediately, a temporary one until they co pelted their investigation. I’m serious, everyone should have their bank dispute these scammers. They know how to do it and can get your money back.

You should contact your bank and have them dispute it for you. My bank—Bank of America—helped me out, recited my account immediately. Give it a try. Good luck! That’s horrible.

I went to anniecloth.com after seeing an ad for clothing on social media, I think Facebook. I've seen it before, but since I have been home I decided to try them out. I did not click on the link from the add, instead, I did a search for the company and it looked secure. The scam is that the pictures of the clothing are not what they deliver. It is really cheap replicas of what was in the pictures. I also waited almost 4 weeks for the order and I only got a few of the items. You have to pay to return the items. I feel so bad. I knew this could happen, but they look so ligit.

Annie Cloth is a "SCAM". They claim my order has been stuck in San Francisco for six weeks. All I receive from Customer Service is an automated response email.

I ordered a necklace and the fine print said after you purchase, that arrival date would be 7 to 22 business days. After 30 days, I emailed them and they only sent their policy about the 22 business days back to me. I waited a few more weeks, emailed them again telling them I still haven’t received my package. They sent me another email to track my package. I did this and a message came up stating that my # was not in the system. I again emailed them to tell them this, plus asking for a refund and I have not heard from them. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

The only communication method is via email.

Company deliberately kept mixing up the order to delay time.

Company would not give me a refund and sent me a fake tracking order.

I never received my purchased items.

Order clothing based on beautiful pictures and low prices;took long time to receive; clothing smelled terrible, looked nothing like pictures; poor construction & inferior material. I don't know how to return or get money back because they do not leave the normal inserts like other companies. What should I do?

I ordered a piece of clothing from this company and was sent something very different. Basically, their website shows a sweater but they sent a cheap/polyester item. Different material, different pattern, different colors. They present as a company in California, but (when I finally got the opportunity to communicate with someone in customer service) I was told I had to return the item to China if I wanted to get a full refund. I requested a full refund including shipping. I was told I had to return the item to get the full refund. So I returned it, spending return shipping of $23.50 -- per their return instructions. So far I have received no refund. They have offered a partial refund of about half (refunding for the returned item but not the shipping). I have not accepted and have an open case with paypal to try to resolve it. I do not hold much hope that I will get a full refund. But I am filing this complaint to help warn others about this company. I believe they are doing business illegally. It is not a matter of things looking a bit different in person vs online. It is not a case of me just not liking something I ordered. It appears to me that this company purposefully tricks people on a regular basis -- with false advertising/fake photographs on their website. The return process is then elusive and erratic. Again, I believe this is intentional, to make the return process so difficult, frustrating, and/or expensive that people will give up. I know ScamPulse.com can't regular foreign companies, but I would not have shopped with this company if they had presented themselves as being in China (instead of in the US). Mostly, I am filing a complaint because I believe they are doing business illegally and in the hope of helping other people not get duped. Thank you. In photo, the ad is on the left; the item sent is on the right.

Do not buy from this company! This company puts beautiful photos of various trendy fashion items for cheap prices on their website. After you pay for it, it takes up to 20 days for the item to arrive if it ever does. The company is in China! The photos misrepresent their items and what you actually receive will be cheap knockoffs and are not made of the materials advertised. They will not offer a refund or return shipping. The holding company is called CHICV INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED and they have several similar sites (noracora.com, justfashionnow.com, etc.) offering the same fashion items. Check TrustPilot or PayPal or google reviews of Anniecloth before you purchase anything!

I ordered a sweater and hat from this company,I received the sweater which didn't look like what was advertised,I also ordered a hat ( which I haven't received yet). The sweater smelled so bad I'm surprised that the USPS delivered the PKG. The sweater was of such poor quality . I can't return the merchandise because the company is in China and the return would be much more then the merchandise is worth. I just want my money back. I send the company emails everyday asking for a full refund they claim they have sent me a return label which is not the truth.

The clothing items and accessories shown on website are nothing similar to what I received. Wrong colors, different cuts and fabrics, overall very poor quality.

After contacting them via email, since that is the only way to contact them, to request a Return Address they replied to me stating that it would be too expensive since I had to return the items to China and to take a 15% refund, but did not provide the return address. Since then I have sent numerous emails still requesting the return address and they reply with a automatic email requesting the description of the items I intend to return.

After 15 business days, they just stopped replying to my messages and did not refund the 15% offered.
