I conducted job searches online the night before and morning of. The scam text message starts with [email protected] and states, “Hello excuse me, I’m a Recruitment Assistance at Indeed. We would like to offer you a great part-time/full-time job to update app store date, increase app views and dow…” (unopened text runs out of screen space)

I did not click on the message, but searched Google for the [email protected] info and found this appears to be a scam associated with Russian communications. Several statements saying they were scammed from the rambler. ru.

I will send this to my local FBI Office as well.

Posted an EA position on Craigslist allowing potential candidates to apply and set up an online interview. The event has a pretend hiring manager who only sends in app messages. He goes on to pretend you are in a big meeting. I shut off the interview then, clearly was a scam!

I sent out my resume to a company for data entry position. The email said to contact Angela Banks by Microsoft Teams ASAP. I responded and they did an on-line interview on Microsoft Teams. The interview was a chat on Microsoft Teams and was promptly hired. The asked for my banking company. Which I gave them. they then said I needed to send me a check to acquire software and equipment, They provided me with a promise that I would get the check by Fed x or USPS. Then they asked if I did mobile banking. I said I did not do mobile banking and they asked for my name, address, email, zip code, and phone number. I replied that the information was on my resume. They said they found it on my resume and that I could have the rest of the day off and they would talk with me tomorrow.

Burlington group inc states there are a data entry organization and they will have you download an app called signal and pressure you to pay $49.86 for shipping fees for equipment and states that when u receive a payment on the job to send payment in Bitcoin on cash app

I applied for a social media specialist job on Linkedin. I got an email from a Rons company saying that I am being considered for their social media specialist role. Similar to what happened to other victims of this kind of scam, they sent me a pdf of interview questions. After two days, they said that I look like a right fit for their position and I scored an 8.5 out of 10 on their "test". They said that they would give me an offer letter to sign and I must submit it with a government issued ID. In terms of salary and benefits, they said that they would offer me 30$ per hour training and when hired $35 per hour. I also get health and dental benefits, and after 3 months of being employed they said I could apply for more. I thought that offer was real at first because I googled and saw that Ron's company was a legitimate company based in Yonkers, NYC. The company had a website which states that they have a A+ ScamPulse.com rating. When I also looked up the talent onboarding manager on linkedin which was Dajanae Jefferson she seemed legit because on her linkedin page she said that she was working for the company for 9 years and had a believable profile picture. The email said that the company would provide me a check to buy equipment for my remote workstation that I would receive after I sign the offer letter with my government issued ID. I started to doubt the offer when they offered me a salary that seemed to good to be true. I also had no chance to do an interview with them through the phone or through zoom. After researching online, I saw somebody who had a similar encounter with mine and confirmed that my offer is a scam. Also, the first email that I got from the talent onboarding manager was under the name Raymond Chock which is also the name of the talent onboarding manager of the other people scammed. Thankfully, I saw this post before I could sign the letter and send my personal info.

I received a text message stating the person was from Chemeric and they saw my reaume on Hawaii Workforce. Sent me a Teams link to connect with a Shawn Vander using a interview code. I did set up the contact on Teams and received a message and call from this Shawn Vander the next day on Teams. I missed the call and didnt respond to the message. I checked online about this scam and then blocked everything.

I was taken by an indeed recruiter for a part time remote job where I was weaned into giving more money than I was willing to through deceitful tactics. The scammers attempted to take 2000 dollars from me after locking an initial 300 from me, then after locking in my initial deposit through bitcoin they took another 700 through pressure. After I paid that amount they pressured me to pay another 2000 of which I wasn't able to pay and took both my initial and second attempts. The recruiters failed to mention any of this and lured me under the pretense that this job was meant to be feasible under misleading practices

Human Resources reached out to me for employment and I interviewed through Microsoft Teams, and I was informed that they need contact the Human Resources department. I sent them all of my information to this business. They sent me a couple of emails. They initially reached out via email. I signed an agreement for employment with the job title. I sent them my driver license.

Connected to cisco systems through Facebook about a job ad that I seen. They then chatted with me and connected me with Toneya Sarwar. After carefully researching her on google I see all the scam alerts. I messaged her and told her was not interested any longer. She wasnt going to get the chance to get personal info from me
