I received a text message about a job, and was asked to interview via Teams. I did gave them address/phone/e-mail and I got hired!! so they sent me a check via e-mail in pdf format, instructed me to cut them to check size, and deposit via my mobile bank app. Well, it seemed very suspicious, especially since the company name was not even on the check, just the bank name, so I call the bank shown on the check, and they cannot locate the routing or check number! I tell them my bank did not allow me to deposit it due to the Routing number and account number could not be found. they proceeded to tell me I did it wrong, and asking for another bank to deposit it to.

The business got in touch with me through my personal number. I went to a site called grab jobs so I can find remote jobs. The company that got in touch with me is called Alliance Pharmaceuticals Plc. I had interview via Skype. They then told me I had qualified for the job and I would receive an email with more info and that I need to fill it out within 24 hours of receiving it. I asked the person who went by the name of Kendra, if in fact this position was an actual legitimate position in the company, to which she replied, '' Excuse me" (I told her I gave my friend the news) she then said, "are you taking your friend over me" I told her that I was simply asking a question because there are so many scams out there it is hard to decipher what's true and what's not. She then quoted a bible verse and told me she is a good Christian, don't steal, cheat and is not here taking anything from you or making you lose anything in your life. I want you to know we are here to offer you a job which will benefit you and your family for good...

There's more...That is the gist of what happened to me today. She is now asking for my personal info, home address, email address, and direct cell number. This is happening as I type.

I submitted my resume through Indeed and Linkedin looking for a remote Administration position. I was contacted by who I thought was Richard Brown from Elevance Healthcare. He set up a remote interview. After the interview I was informed that I got the position and to download the app Workchat, as this is where I would be receiving all of my work assignments. He informed me that the company would be sending out all of the needed equipment to my house and a contractor would be setting everything up for me. He then emailed me an Offer of Employment with a start date of Monday, June 10, 2024 and a W-4, along with requesting a copy of my Driver's License. I filled all of this out and sent it back. I did google the company and everything aligned with what I saw online. On Monday, I logged onto the App to clock in and inform Mr. Brown that none of the computer equipment had arrived. I received no reply. On Tuesday, I logged in again and was then informed that in order to receive the equipment, I would have to buy a $100.00 Apple Pay card and pay for the activation of the software. I explained that computer software does not work like that. All activation is included with the purchase price of the software. I also explained that there should be no reason a legitimate vendor would be charging a separate activation fee and would be requesting payment through debit/credit card not an Apple Pay card. He is still insisting that I purchase an Apple Pay card.

My resume was on Indeed. I got an email from Cargill. They offered me a job as a quality inspector. I gave them a copy of my drivers license. I have been receiving packages and sending them back out. I have four packages. They send me shipping labels. I have not been paid for my time or the shipping. I've talked to Chloe, Dorothy and Ross; one has an accent, and one is just a mean American.

A woman posted an add on a friends fb page. I indicated I was interested. And she messaged me privately with the info about the position. Asked a few questions. Then told me to download the Microsoft teams app. And reach out to Johnson David using an interview code link once it was downloaded. Yesterday, 6/6/24, is when we started out convo and interview. I was hired for the remote position of data entry person. And gave the guy my name address and phone #. I also gave him a selfie along with a pic of my DL with the #covered. He then proceeded to tell me the next steps in order to start my training. He told me I would have to pay for the equipment that would be sent to me and then be reimbursed. He stated that it was because I elected direct deposit for me being paid. He said it would take to long to process and they( the company) wanted me to start right away. He still insisted on the up front payment.

I was contacted via Indeed and the phone. Interviewed and hired me over the phone. Then I sent in my information with my social and more details. I was trained through watching videos. They said I would get paid $3,800 for receiving packages and then resending them back out. I would follow the instructions to look at the tracking, log into the dashboard and the link was- totalcargo-portal.com/user. I received emails from the company from someone named Cliff Higgins. I was never paid for anything I completed. They had me driving to different companies to get packages. I believe this is a scammer program because I saw online that other people were reporting it as a scam on Reddit, so I sent the screen shots to Cliff Higgins and then he sent back one that had Registered legal name is total cargo logistics. toll free number 888 820-1565, position was parcel expert, salary was $3300 plus $40 bonus. Direct number was 712-938-0438. I called and just got an operator. I tried to login as well afterwards and was unable to.

They had an ad on Facebook pretending to be Cisco. They “interviewed” me on Teams, said I got the Data Entry job, then sent me a check which I would use to purchase equipment. I deposited the check through my mobile bank app, then they told me to pay different people using PayPal or CashApp, including $WisdomSparks on CashApp, Vandana Nayak on PayPal ([email protected]), and Damarcus Gilkey on CashApp ($dgilke) and PayPal ([email protected]). I did all this, then on Saturday, they did a “check back”, and now I owe nearly $1400 dollars to my bank.

I was emailed and told that i was selected for an interview. Also didn't remember applying for the position. I was asked in the email to downlod Microsoft teams the add Nasuh Aswad, to start the interview process. At which pointbthey said that i would be contacted again after the chat went to their hr department. They then congratulated me and emailed me over an I-9 and direct deposit form. I filled these out and sent back. Nasuh then told me a check would be on the way and i would need to deposit it into my account andvuse the funds to purchase equipment for the position. The check was $4850.00. I deposited the check and waited the 7 days for it to clear which is when "Bank of America" marked the check as fraudulent. I have contacted them again with the response, "This is a very unusual development... Please send a mail to the account department and I will escalate from here also... There must have been a mistake somewhere..." i also emailed the the account department with the same information. At this point they have all of my information including address phone licenses and ssn.
