This number has repeatedly called my personal cell leaving messages and threats.They claim to be the IRS and have a heavy middle Eastern accent. When I asked for their address I was met with further threats. They are obviously not connected with the IRS. They have threatened prison, arrests, etc.

A guy called and said i need to confirm your name and said my whole name and address (pretty scary) I said no and supposedly corrected him with a wrong name, told him he was a scammer and told him he needs to take me off that list he laughed really hard then hung up.

I received a call claiming to be a person from the IRS. They said I have had issues with my taxes in the last 5 years. They said I needed to get in contact with them and that if I didn't a police office would come and I would have a warrant out for my arrest.

Received bogus call/voicemail stating "Orders of IRS... you will be taken under custody by the federal officers as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name... get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you..."

Received a recording saying that IRS has filed a lawsuit against me for taxes owed (I don't owe the IRS anything). Ask you to call 425-669-9132 to resolve the issue immediately.

Threatening voicemail message left stating there were 4 serious charges against me and I would be arrested by local police in PA if I did not return the phone call. The call originated from Maine. First, I spoke with Susan Smith Federal Badge No. IRM 50775 and then was transferred to James O'Connell Federal Badge No: IRM25907. O'Connell stated I was on a 3-way call with local police and that since 2012-2017 there was a 'gross miscalculation' in my taxes and that I owed $4571 immediately, and if I hung up the phone, that was admitting guilt and I would be arrested and all of my personal information would be published in the local paper. Mr. O'Connell then stated that I was not permitted to contact my tax preparer or an attorney as this was a matter that needed to be settled immediately. The callers had my name and address.

On Monday I had a message saying they were the IRS and I needed to call them back. When I called the number back a man with a very thick accent was saying I had 4 arrest warrants on me for scamming the IRS from 2012-2017 for over $8,000 and that I would soon be arrested. Knowing it was a scam I said a few choice words and then hung up on them.

Message left on phone said they were calling from the IRS regarding a Tax Crime warrant against us. We were told to call 707-840-4572. Also a number (24-770-652-3681) was showing on phone ID. We did not answer or call them back. This happened on Oct. 3, 2018. We did not delete the message.

I received an automated call tellung me that there was a problem with my tax filings and i need to call the number that called back within 24hrs or i could get arrested. When i called they wanted my name and zip code. They said i owed money I told them noway and hung up!

The scammer called me and since the area code of the phone they used is not from my state, I didn’t answer and then they leave an AUTOMATED voicemail.

“ the local cops as there are four serious allegations press on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you the number to reach us is 216-208-3477 I repeat 216-208-3477 thank you…”

That was the voicemail. So I freaked out thinking what did I do wrong? So I called back in and someone answered providing an officer name(i forgot the name was) and an ID #. Telling me I owed this much amount to IRS from this year to that year. Saying I filed my tax but I did not put all the i formation. THe scammer keeps talking and telling me that my license could be revoke, that I will have a warrant arrest and any other stuff if I don’t come up with a settlement. The scammer gave me an option for settlement, either I can hire an attorney or pay the said amount I owed. And She want an immediate answer on that, she told me I have to decide now or else I will have a warrant arrest and my file and ssn going to the court and blah blah blah. So after that conversation i felt like she’s already threatening me and forcing me to do something, so at that point I hung up. I realized that’s what SCAMMERS do.

The conversation ended. I checked my account on IRS right away and I owed 0.00 dollars.
