I just received a call from the following #: 1-206-801-6133 and there was a foreign speaking lady on the line that said she was calling from the IRS. She started saying that I owed the federal government and I immediately said I hadn't received a letter and she said she was going send one and she hung up immediately. I tried calling that # back and some one answered saying they were the "IRS". I said you know the IRS always send information to people by letter and not phone and she hung up.

Left message on Phone. I called back and stated I owed back taxes of $7,000.00. Did not give any information. IRS hung up on me.

KEEPS CALLING AND SAYS THAT I AM BEING SUED BY THE IRS. HAS CALLED 9 TIMES TODAY ALONE. How do i stop this??

They call me a recording called me and told me to call back the number 209-989-4766 and when I did and laughed at him and told him they were full of s*** he got very very irate and actually even hung up on me and then I called back and then the other guy they were talking about you just wait fifteen minutes youll'll see what happens. Basically I didn't give him a chance to scam me they just tried to put fear in my heart too but I figured I'd better report it

I got a call today saying they were with the IRS and I owe a lot of money. They were asking for my banking information and all kinds of person information. I would not give it to them and asked for a phone number for me to call them and they would not give it to me. I did not give them any information. I just called the BBB.

Person left a message stating that they were from IRS regarding a suit against me and to call back the number provided. Person had a strong accent (Middle East or SW Asia).

I received a call from "Laura of the IRS" claiming that they were going to "start legal action against my name" unless I called 904-297-8366. I called the ScamPulse.com instead to verify that it was a scam.

IRS left another demanding vmail...This is at least the third unique phone number from which they have called. Have reported the other two numbers as well.

I received a call from someone saying they were with the IRS and there was a lawsuit against me and I needed to call 507-540-0076 to take care of it. I called the ScamPulse.com instead.

The officer that contacted me said he was with the IRS and that I been involved in a IRS fraud and I needed to pay taxes from 2007 to 20013. Was told if I didn't I would be arrested and could face up to so many years jail time. I thought I was really being investigated. The 2 people I was on the phone gave names and badge numbers. I was very upset and scared of being thrown in jail. I have a job and a son to care for. I lost my husband to cancer in april 2015. I sent this money that I was told I owed and didn't know it was a scam. that was my life savings. I lost $7,247.00. I don't know how to ever get this money back. how can I get this money back..

Received 5 phone messages today saying they were the IRS asking me to call back 202 536 2598. They said a lawsuit was filed against me. Channel 3 news said to call the BBB to report this, as it is a scam.

Received a prerecorded message on my cell phone voicemail saying that a lawsuit had been filed regarding past taxes that are owed. This was the third message left on my cell phone.

A person saying he was an agent IRS, called me and stated that I owe back taxes of $9,970.00 in which an audit of my tax returns for years 2010 thru 2015 had been made and that I will be sued if not paid immediately. All of my checking and saving accounts will be frozen if not paid. I have no knowledge of any pending taxes owed or was I ever notified or contacted by the IRS before this phone call. Call sounded like it was coming from a call phone center and individuals sounded foreign and hard to understand. I said I would contact my lawyer and get back with him and then hung up. Did not get any additional information on how to pay the money.

Man called from (501) 589-5719 and claiming to work for IRS, stated there was going to be a warrant out for tax debt unless the debt was paid right now over the phone. Demanded to know name and address as well as bank name and account number. Man had thick Indian accent, and when asked to speak to person with better English a woman came on the phone who sounded Latino. After I hung up, he called from a second number (909) 799-2800 and this time he stated he was FBI and stated I need to take out money from my bank right away and transfer to their bank. After I told him I knew it is a scam, he hung up.

The voice stated IRS has been trying to reach me about overdue taxes. The call came in from CA (213)1415163. This was the message left in my voice mail box. I should call immediately. I did not and I have not received another since July 1, 2016. The caller never called any name of the person they were trying to reach.
