I got 2 voice mail messages from the same person threatening a lawsuit because of back tax. I don't owe any tax. I called them back to tell them I did not owe tax and they hung up.

My husband answered this phone # and the person stated they were from the IRS . They provided a " badge # " and they stated that we owed money because of a 5 yr tax audit . They demanded the money over the phone immediately with high pressure tactics and even threatened to have my husband arrested if he did not pay over the phone . My husband did not submit any information and after a few minutes of high pressuring conversation , my husband hung up the phone .

got a call from the number listed above and that number left a recorded message on my answering machine...stating that number was with the IRS is filing a lawsuit (didnt give any names) against whoever because (no names) tried to do a fraud with the IRS and the recording says the IRS is issuing a warrant against (doesnt give any names)! the recording goes on to say...to get more information call that number back! so i did and i got a recording of a lady saying she was with the IRS and her name is 'stephanie wilson"! also a name of "keith alexander" came up on my caller ID under that number listed above!

received msg from the IRS to call immediately; called them back and said i would be arrested for tax fraud; asked if i received a package at my door; if I don't pay they will come to my house and arrest me.

Received a cell phone call from above number claiming that I owed the IRS back taxes, and that an arrest warrant was about to be issued against me. The call stated that I must call the above number immediately. I called the BBB, and was told to file this.

We received 2 phone calls which were recordings from the IRS, one right after the other, stating there will be a lawsuit against us if we did not return a phone call to this number. It did not use our name or give any personal information.

Caller identifies himself as an IRS Officer and wants me to call back and wants money due to IRS fraud issue. He has called 2x in about 2 hrs. I need to know what to do to get him to quit calling me. It is obviously a recording so Im not talking to a person when he calls.

Message lift on phone answer machine. The IRS has a law suit against you, they have filed legal charges in court. You must call IRS headquarters at the number at the end of this message. 202-754-8416

received this # twice and another caller same scam different women's voice and different phone #, 3 calls all within the last 2 weeks.

We received a robo-call yesterday saying that they were the IRS and had filed a lawsuit against us. This was left on our machine. Asked us to call immediately and provided this number: 813-215-0863. We have no concerns or worries with the IRS and know they would not contact us in this manner.

I called the number last night just to see what they said. I got the voice mail of someone named Kathy Matthews. I don't believe that's the full name as it sounded like there was another name after the Matthews, but I did not catch it. I did not leave a message.

Called and said I owed 11780.00 in taxes the caller gave his name as John Reed. John gave me an ID 98330

JB10107P is the account number for me to make payment and wanted to know if I had a savings or checking account. I led them on trying to get more information.

Received call on mobile phone...did not answer. Voice mail left (female recorded message) stating "We have been trying to reach you. This is your final official notice that the IRS will be filing a lawsuit against you. Please call 3125867041 for information about this case file." No additional information given.

I've received several messages from (208)599-5468 stating I'm being sued by the IRS. I called the number back and the guy answered the phone as IRS and requested my number. I asked why is he calling me and he said I was being sued for back taxes and requested for me to write down my case number.

I laughed and he asked why I was laughing. I told him this is a scam as I pay my taxes every year and on time. He stated if I don't let him explain the nature of the case that two police officers will come to my house with an arrest warrant.

I told him I was turning him in as this is a scam. He hung up. I called the number back and he hung up again.

Please let others know about this scam...

Senior officer Samuel Matthews IRM# 1771Y1 doing a random audit from 2000-2005 saying I owe 11,780 dollars. Threatened to send sheriff to my home. Also said that they had come to our house several times to notify in person with legal documents. Also spoke with officer mark lee IRM#10256. They have my name, dob and last four digits of social security. How can I protect myself?
