A man called and claimed he was with the irs and needed information. I asked him for an id or proof that he was with the irs. He then said he had no information and that i was not ro call that number again

6-22-16 My Mother who is 80 has received two phone calls which she didn't answer leaving it go on her message machine. It was from a voice recorded female. They were exactly the same message left at appox. 9:00am & 2:00pm. The beginning of message is garbled saying who is calling other then a legal message from the IRS and if you do not return this call immediately you will suffer legal consequences.

i'm her daughter who takes care of her. I did not attempt to call them back - instead I'm reporting this to the wonderful BBB. Thank you for all you do!!!

I had a lady to call my cell phone threatening me saying i owe money and i should give them my information. She was very rude. Said i was going to jail. The number she call from was 2068233159. Yall need to check this out

Received call from man representing IRS; said they were sending sheriff out to pick us up if we don't go to CVS and purchase green dot card for $2400.00 and give them the number.

Some one going by Daniel Smith called a consumer who then called us. (BBB) He said he was with IRS and that the consumer owed $6,230 for her tax return from 2010-2015. He said they could take payment by debiting her checking account or she could pay by credit card.

I have twice today been contacted by this number, informing me that the "IRS" is filing a lawsuit against me. I called the number and reached a man with a Jamaican accent, claiming to be "Sgt. David" someone and told him to stop calling or I would call the police.

I was contacted by a recorded message stating it was Nicky Johnson from the IRS on a urgent matter. I returned the call to the same number and a foreign sounding man answered the telephone he identified himself as John Miller. I asked for his IRS id number and he hung up. I decided to call back to see if I got a different person and I got the same man. He proceeded to ask a bunch of questions and I didn't answer any of them. When I identified myself as a Licensed Tax Consultant and told him I was turning him in to the ScamPulse.com and IRS he proceeded to become vulgar to me saying very inappropriate things. I hung up.

I keep getting these phone calls from these people every day sometimes 2and 3 times a day. Now they have gone to threatening to turn me into the local authorities because there is now a warrant out for my arrest

Received call from Washington on landline and let an answering machine pick up and they left an automated voice message indicating "IRS was filing a lawsuit against us and need to call this # 509-494-3911. Didn't talk to them in person, but presuming they want money!

Odd robo call. Left message they were IRS.

Called back and its an extremely large, extremely LOUD background noise, unprofessional call center speaking broken East india Accent..... several times same man answered.

I suspected scamming people to pay isis.

Received a call from IRS saying I owe $5000 because of a refund overpayment. If I do not return the call I will spend 6 months in jail. I returned the call to 202 250-3659 and was told there is a warrant for my arrest.

Three calls in one day from same phone number telling me it was the IRS and this was my final notice. If I didn't call this number back (541-792-9118) I would be prosecuted.
