Consumer received a call from someone pretending to be with the IRS. From phone number 209-392-3719, 760-284-0200. IRS would come to her house to arrest her.

They had left a message saying there was a lawsuit filed against me and I needed to call them before it was turned over to my local county for prosecution. I refused to speak to them due to the fact that the IRS does not call.

received a voice mail stating that I had four serious allegations against me with the cops and I needed to contact them immediately. When I called the # back a non-English speaking male answered and to the best of my ability I understood him to say that I was audited from 2010-2014 and he was a rep of the IRS and I needed to pay him, I advised that was nonsense and that I owe no taxes and I would contact my local police department about the alleged allegations and he advised me to not threaten a federal agent, I asked for his agent or ID # and he disc the call.

I have twice received a phone call with the message that it was the IRS and they were contacting me because of outstanding debt. I know that this has been a current scam.

After speaking with the local ScamPulse.com office I understand that these phone calls cannot be traced or any action taken. I realize that many older adults may be hurt by this type of phone call because they are not aware of it being a scam.

I hope that these scams and including the Microsoft computer scam gets additional public awareness.

Message on landline from Internal Revenue ( rest not audible/ muffled); a lawsuit is pending call this number: 2678938257. I dialed, an Indian accent male answered. i asked the exact name of business and why the phone call. They said to ID myself, I did not, and again I asked why the call. My answer was: bitch and a hangup. I checked my phone and redialed exactly, same person answered. This time the same requests, ended with F---- you and a hang up.

I contacted the IRS, Ms Coates answered. Reported the above, she asked me to contact:www.TITGA. I followed the prompt of impersonating/ fraud.

As I viewed more IRS scams, PA ScamPulse.com site came up and prompted me to contact you.

The message says "The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing law suit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 917 714 8393, I repeat

917 714 8393, thank you." I have received this message 3 times, twice yesterday morning 6/30/16, once this morning 7/1/16. I have 2 on the answering machine, accidentally erased the 3rd one.

I get an automated phone call stating I am wanted for tax fraud. I'm told to call this number back 1 805-329-6337. I call this number and they read a document to me saying my 2011-2014 taxes are for tax fraud and I will be arrested today.

My parents who are in their 80's received a robocall on their answering machine claiming to be the IRS. It said this was the final notice and that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against them and to call this number immediately. The number was (716)265-1615. This makes me angry! Had my mother worried all day until I came over and did a reverse phone number lookup. It said SCAM or Fraud Flagged as Extortion! I did not call the number.

Officer Steve Maryin calling my cell and home number for nearly a year. Telling me its dept of treasury.. I owe taxes.. Warrant out for my arrest..etc. I have now started to calm back and tell them to send info in writing. They hang up on me or transfer me to someone else. All of Indian decent. Hardly understand them, sorry to say. U have told them numerous times I have reported them to police and they disconnect me. Thank u.

Just received another phone call stating that there was a suit being against me. This is the last attempt. Just left phone message did not talk to them. Phone number 724-912-8178. this is an automated message. They have called me 5 times or more.

David Marshall, Investigator with IRS left message on phone to call 347-344-5261. I Called 347-344-5261 and gentleman stated that I owed 2,300.00. I told the gentleman that I did not owe taxes. Mr. Marshall hung up on me.
