At 2:30 PM I received a phone call purportedly from IRS, stating that I owed them money. I hung up at that point.

left voice message on cell phone: Officer Nicky Johnson with the IRS. Time sensitive matters so please call this number back before they take any further action.

When calling the number back, victim just told them she knew IRS did not telephone, so not to telephone her number again. Nicky said, "OK"

The person that called me name is daniel wisemen and he came on a recorded voice and told me that the IRS is suing me and i need to call him back now and have my lawyer call to and if i don't he feels sorry for what is going to happen to me. He called from three different numbers within a five minute span.

Two phone calls received in same day. Message stated this is the IRS and we have a lawsuit against you for tax fraud. Please contact us immediately. First call was from 207-841-5329 the second call came from 856-631-4216. Tried to contact the first number 207-841-5329 and got recording this is not a valid working number. When I called 856-631-4216 a gentleman answered with an accent stating a lawsuit was against my husband for the year 2010 and 2011. He kept putting me on hold when I would ask a question. He stated to me our correct address along with the correct zip code. When I asked when the IRS started making personal phone calls for this type issue he said he was just wanting to give me a heads up. I again asked the question (knowing this was a scam) when did the IRS start making personal phone calls & at this he hung up on me.

I have had 2 calls on my answering machine at home in Shaker Hts— from criminals running a scam.

They say they are from the IRS and I must reach them immediately about a lawsuit. I was afraid at first and thought it was real. I never gave out any information. I asked where they are located and they were hesitant to answer. They have foreign accents.

Here is the number they left: 435-609-1825. Call them and you will reach the actual criminals.

They must be stopped.

Please warn others.

I received a call from +1 646-558-5543 and they left a message on my voice mail stating that there from irs and they where contacting me in regards to me owning money. I did not reply. This is a scam wanting money.

2nd call telling me I owe the IRS money. 1st call was to my ex husband. We have been divorced for 20 years yet they still have him listed at my address.

Received robo call from someone identifying themselves as the IRS who threatened us with a lawsuit. They recorded voice asked that we phone them at 917 375 1273 for more details. We have caller ID, so checked the service. It said the caller's ID was "Unavailable." Googled the 917 number, and there are other complaints about that number.

Gentleman called claiming that I owed $4,986 in back taxes to the IRS.

Names given were John Roger, badge #W11580 and Mark Hendricks.

They called my phone. To play a warning about back taxes. The people called from 719-217-4862. I hung up. They have called my house twice today.

Knew my name, said I owed irs that I didn't pay my taxes. Said irs has a legal claim against me. When I told them I have never paid any taxes, or owed taxes. They asked, you never had to pay taxes? I said no, they said oh, then hung up.

They called and left a message, many times, saying that they were the IRS trying to collect money. If I didn't call back, they would send me debt collections. I called back to try to get them to STOP calling. A man answered and asked for my name. I asked him what the call was in reference to. He said tax evasion. I said, nice try, but I will be reporting you to the people. He said that's mother [censored]er that's bull [censored] and hung up on. They are STILL calling.

I received a telephone call Saturday, June 4, 2016 supposedly from the IRS. The caller stated she had been trying to get in touch with me for a while. "The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you" going on to say I should call them immediately.

We are getting call after call about being sued by the IRS. The recording is an Amercian woman and when you call the phone number, the people that are answering are from another country.
