I recd a ph call on May 20, 1016 (Friday afternoon) and it was a recording. A well spoken man (no accent) stated the IRS has issued a warrant of a federal investigation about my case. He insisted I call him right away at 714-551-0091. I did not think it was important so I did not return the call.

They left a voicemail saying that the IRS was suing me and I needed to give them an undisclosed amount of money.

I recd the call on May 19, 2016 (twice in the afternoon) & it was a recording. A woman stated I had a problem with my income tax returns and I should call 785-424-5870 immediately. I did not return the call because I knew it was a scam. My friends also recd the same type of calls.

Received numerous calls from a Washinton number. after you pick up it s a machine that states:

" This is the IRS, Internal Revenue Service we have been trying to reach you. This is the final notice. the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. Please call 206-539-5299 immediately."

This is the first day I have every received this type of call. they have called at least 3 times within a few hours. the first two times they called the number popped up on my caller ID on my cell phone. The third time they called private number. When I attempted to call the number back from a different phone, no one would answer, no machine, just rang. I did call back from my business phone and not my cell.

Robo call to my cell phone saying this is the final notice that the IRS was issuing a warrant for me. (Do people really fall for this? I am old, old but I know a scam when I hear one, oh well, hope they get caught.) Number they left 262-685-1819

This is the IRS with a final notice. The IRS WILL BE FILING SUIT against you

if you do not respond. This is for delinquent taxes that you owe. Please call immediately or you will be sued. The number is 605-440-3519.

I was out of town when this message was left on my recorder. It came Wednesday the 18th at 4:04 pm.

I knew about this but I thought a reminder on the news would be good. I am 73 years old & if I had not heard about this I would have called that number & probably given any information they asked for.

This came in as an Omaha number. It was a man who sounded ethnic. He wanted to know if I was my full name and could and was it "her"! I said it was SHE and he was telling me I had a missed court appearance. When I told him that I had no such thing and it was a scam he said to hang up and he'd process the papers!!

I recd a call this afternoon at 12:45 PM and I spoke w/a man who stated I had been audited from 2005 - 2013 and I need to send $9132. I could send them $4000 cash today and would be given 3 hours to get the money and would let me know how to send. I knew it was a scam.

I did not recognize phone number, so let answer machine record a message. In essence: This call is officially a Final Notice from IRS informing that IRS filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file please call immediately on our Department number... 701-897-2533, then repeated 701-897-2533. then Thanked me.

IT's an automated call. They say that I owe the IRS and they can put my family and myself in jail if I don't cooperate. I've heard about this on KMJ 580 radio program. I knew it was a scam. We already are getting back money from IRS, and have our state California money back already. All we have is the phone number 407 264-7373.

They have called my son here, at 559 222-1750 4 times this very day, May 20, Friday, 2016. Please make them go away. We are not buying this.

I was called by the number listed above (478-918-7860) and told that I needed to call the number back. They said they were the IRS and that the IRS was taking action against me. I called the number back, as I was curious as to what the IRS would want to do with someone who follows the book. I didn't get a hello on the other end, but heard a large room full of foreign voices and conversations. I don't think the IRS has a large room of people who can barely speak English taking care of their affairs. The man on the other end finally answered to me saying hello 3 times. I asked his name. He said "IRS" and I asked for his name again. He asked for my name. I, a third time, asked his name and he just kept repeating anything that I said. This is obviously a scam and they need to be dealt with. Please. I do not know how much information they have on people, but this is a violation of privacy. Thank you.
