i received a phone call from the number 605 467 6737 the man said he was from the IRS and used the name Luis Cooper and told me that i was being audited for the years of 2010 to 2015. he then told me that I owed $8177 on my state tax return. when I asked him to send me paperwork he said that he couldn't because it was at the federal courthouse in Washington DC. He told me i had 2 options to solve the matter 1. be arrested and all of my assets seized. or 2. I could take the OCR option. Before he could tell me about the second option I told him i would take option #1 he became very aggitated

I received a phone call stating that I was being sued by the IRS and that this was the last attempt before the the suit. I attempted to call back and realized that I was being scammed by someone with a thick Indian accent. When I questioned her about the suit she hung-up the phone. I called back and spoke with a supervisor who used profanity when I told him that they were a scam and that I was reporting them.

Previously I recd about 5 different ph. calls from the IRS. This morning I recd a ph call from 701-897-2532 no. & it was the same woman on the recording. She stated this is the final attempt from the IRS to collect the amount due. Please call us back. I saw the news on TV about scam so I did not respond.

the recorded voice caller claimed they were from the "internal revenue service" and claimed that the IRS had a lawsuit against me. I was to call them back. Seemed like an obvious scam.

I recd a call yesterday afternoon - it was a recording. A woman stated this is a msg from the IRS and this is your final notice. They were going to file a suit against me. I was in a Kroger's store the day before and heard some women discussing the IRS Scam. I also heard the news on CH 5 regarding the scam from the IRS.

The caller said they were from the IRS and I should call back, or my Social security number would be put on a black list.

Called x2 today to report that I was recieving a final notice from the IRS for a lawsuit that was being filed against me and to call back. When I called back, they asked for name, birthday and last 4 of social. They could not give me information about why the lawsuit was being filed but to report for tax evasion. They said I have filed each ear, but could not tell me why this was being done. When I inquired further, they reported that the auditor had submitted the case. When I asked for futher details or a phone number of someone to talk to, the lady I was talking to hung up on me. When I called back to have the paperwork sent to a lawyer, they stated they couldn't hear me and asked for the number to call back on.

The caller stated they were from the IRS and said that there was some fraudulent activity done under my name. The caller had a very heavy accent and was very hard to understand. I told them I did not believe them to be from the IRS and then hung up on them. I tried calling the number back and it just kept ringing.

A gentleman will call stating he is from the IRS at 5am.

Caller said he was with the IRS and there is a lawsuit filed against me. I didn't give him much time for anything else. He hung up on me when I started questioning him about him and the office he worked out of, etc.

I recd a ph call on Monday May 16th - it was a recording. A man stated this was the IRS and I owed them money and that they were there to collect it. He said that I should call him back but I did not because I knew it was scam. The IRS would always send a letter.

I missed the call, so I called back and I was told they are IRS, I told them that IRS would not call and they hung up on me, then I listen to my voice mail and there is a recording that I will be taken in front of a grand Jury, they want me to call back at 631-240-0395. I do belive they are trying to get money

For several days I recd aprx 10 calls from ph no. 206-472-6229. Yesterday afternoon the same ph no. appeared and there was a recording. A man stated this was the IRS and I need to call the 206 no. back before I get arrested for back taxes. I did not return the call; I knew it was a scam.

I recd a call on May 12, 2016 and it was a recording on my home voice mail. A woman stated we are calling from the IRS and this is the 3rd and final call. We are going to take action and file a lawsuit against me. If I have any questions call the 573 no. I did not return the call; I knew it was a scam.
