I am harrassed on my cell phone daily. Always in afternoon around 2- 3:00 PM. Say the "cops" are going to get me if I don't return their call. Call is computerized. Very distracting at work and have had similar calls a year ago I reported to the IRS. You can go on their website and report the call. If you happen to speak to the person, get their name and "badge" number, if there is one. Ask what company they work for and get their message down verbatum, if possible. This will help the IRS track them down.

I received a call stating I had miscalculated my taxes from 2011-2015 and that I owed 7965.00. I was given agent name, employee ID#, Case file number and was told that if I didn't pay that a warrant would be issued and a cop would be at my house within the next 30minutes. When I tried to ask a question the person who identified himself as Detective Jerry ?, supervisor, he became irate and started cussing so I than hung up the phone.

The caller said they were with IRS and I was in trouble , I needed to call 717 219 5669 Immediatley to see how to take care of this problem. If I didn't I could be arrested or worse. . I hung up. they have called twice in this month

I received a message on my home answering machine. It was a recording. Stated it was the IRS. Threatened to sue me. To speak with a representative press one. I did not pick up the phone. Wanted me to call phone number 202-734-6152. I did not call the number back. I know it is a scam and wanted to report the call.

Received by voice mail on cell Sept. 19 @ 3:53 pm. -Message) Is to notify you that IRS has issued an arrest warrant against you and right now you and your physical property those are being monitored and it's very important that I do hear back from you as soon as possible before we proceed further in any legal manner. I received a message on my land line claiming to be from the tax crime unit of the IRS. The recorded voice stated that I must call before legal proceeding begin and that I am being monitored, both my person and my property.

Claimed they were from the IRS and told me I had a warrant out for my arrest. The first person, John Martin gave me his badge number IRM6278 and my case number. He then proceeded to ask if I was married because I had a sexy voice. The second person, wouldn't tell me any info and she started yelling at in a foreign language.

Caller identified himself as working for the IRS and demanded immediate payment of $2,475 via Green Dot cash cards. There was, what I now realize was a recording of other people making phone calls in the background (too loud). Both the caller and the "manager" that he turned me over to had accents from India or the Middle East. Serious threats were made, including wage garnishment, fines, jail time, notifying my employer, etc.

The "manager" required me to stay on the phone the entire time and I was not permitted to speak with ANYONE while talking to him.

They called and left a message saying that i needed to call them back or i would be arrest. Naturally i called back. they said i was going to be arrest for tax evasion. did i get contacted by my local police and that i owed the irs 2540 from 2013 and 2014. the person i spoke to was from India and you could hear all the people talking in the back ground. i most have asked him some questions he didn't like and he hung up on me. i reversed looked up the number and it said it was high alert for scams. i went to the irs web site and it basically said that the irs would never call you up and threaten to have you arrest.

Received call from IRS from Dallas TX number, unknown number so let voicemail pick up if important will leave message, voicemail left stating IRS and that me and my civil properties under state of investigation and important for me to call back before a warrant is issued or legal prosecution is taken. Call back and they want me to verify all this information to pull my file, I do not comply, caller becomes agitated and insists they are IRS and if i hang up I will be arrested. I asked if this is actual IRS they would have notified me by mail and that if I were to hang up and call IRS directly if this is a true call then they will verify what you have said, She kept getting agitated and kept saying this true IRS and u want to get arrested? Also initially stated something about the earned income credit filing. I hung up and same lady from Texas called be back on a New York number.

So they called and left an automated message saying that the IRS was calling and that I was being sued in a lawsuit. I called back and they tried to get me by saying that my information was breached in the Equifax Security Breach and that I had 100,000 of back taxes due. They tried to get my personal information (social, full name, etc) and when I tried to find out who they were, they pretended like I didn't need that information. They finally blocked my phone number when I kept calling them back (called about 20 times).
