I never applied for this position, and received a "response" asking for an interview. I assume they took my public information off indeed...

No name was attached to the email and they ask I be available for a call 24/7 for an interview.

I clicked a link to their "job description" and my browser warned me it was a suspicious link.

repackage freight from delaware to my location in new york then forward after taking photos etc uploading onto a dashboard being available to receive packages 7-24 as well as my emergency contact so far 2 hr persons 3 supervisors

offered a stay at home job, everything looked legit until i started asking questions about it being a scam or not

Ketra contacted me for a job opportunity shipping items and relabeling packages using different addresses. I gave them my personal information to sign up for their online website. However, after doing some research online and making a couple of phone calls, the job opportunity turned out to be an illegal shipping business where they take stolen goods that were purchased using stolen information from victims like credit cards and they use people like me to send those goods out of the country and launder money that way. Also after a month, they don't pay you the promised wage after all the work that you did and disappear on you.

They emailed me with this message

“Our Company received your resume from employment search webpages for Shipment Inspector opening.

The job is Work-From-Home!

Relocation and special experience in this position isn't necessary.

Your income is from $80 for each day + $40 bonus per package.

Average monthly income $4,000.

Your manager will be in touch to help you out on every level.

If you are interested, don't hesitate to let me know and I will provide you the Job Description.

We look forward to having you join our team!”

They ask for picture of ID or social for background checks

Contacted about a job as shipping companies inspector, work from home thing, was looking up the company and came across it here.

I was contacted by two different people. First, by phone from a "SARAH MOORE", offering a job position describing a "shipment inspector" that would receive packages at home to inspect and then reship from my location. She went over payment per package and how frequent the pay periods would be. Then, in a follow-up email, she stated she was HR and gave a brief job description and a link. It asked to upload photos front and back of my driver's license along with a picture of me beside my license - I am assuming to verify that I sent the correct information. It included a section for e-signature as well, so it was very convincing. I was then contacted by an "ANDY MOORE" stating he was the shipping manager and reconfirming my interest for the position. I took a few days to think over the position. There was something off about the names that were used especially since both of them seemed to sound Middle-Eastern/Indian. I was conflicted to even fill out the portion of the link but I did so anyway. After a few days and a few incessant unanswered calls from Andy, I decided to reach out to him regarding the onboarding. Well, in my attempt to call back I was met with a dead dial tone. and the same when trying to reach the Sarah lady. When I tried to call the number they gave to the company it went straight to voicemail as well. It was very confusing so I tried to google maps the address that was attached in the email and it came up as some warehouse that is temporarily closed. So, after trying to reach them to find out what is going on, I simply cannot because there is no answer. I forgot to mention, during the few days that I was contemplating, I called the general company number given to see if anyone could verify for me either one of people who contacted me but i was sent to leave a voicemail.. to which I got no return call.

I'm going thru the same issue...but Andy answered for me this morning saying that he was emailing human resources about my pay ...now I can't get into my portal

They hired me as a shipment inspector. They got my personal information like name, address and SSN# thru by asking to fill up W4. They promise to pay me after 1 month for all my service.

The company was presenting the name Ketras Cargo LLC USA. They have a valid website. They sent me the registration document. They asked me to inspect and report on damaged items and then ship to the warehouse at the address of the company. They send authorization letters with driver's licenses to accept packages. Claimed the salary is $80 daily with $40 bonus for timely shipping. Sent labels and all.

A woman called. Said she was head of hr department for a company called Ketras Post. The job offer was for Shipment Inspector. Basically they would send packages from overseas to my house. I was supposed to then open them, inspect them, repackage them, and ship them to a different address. $80 a day, plus $40 per package. Then she emailed me while we were on the phone with an employment agreement. I have 24-48 hours to accept and return it. They will start shipping then. But the accounting department didn't need any information yet since the first paycheck wouldn't be released until I had worked there a month. It was so obviously a scam. Didn't ask me any questions except if I would agree and could I have the paperwork back to her as soon as I could. And she wanted to stay on the phone with me while I went to print them out. Of course the contract will ask for all my personal information. Both emails came within the last hour. I'm trying to figure out how to send them.

A job listing for Shipment Inspector was listed on indeed. Sent an application and received an e-mail of the job responsibilities and break down of commissions. job entitled receiving packages directly to personal address to then inspect the product/parcel for defects. If found log within company account. repackage parcel and ship to local postal office. After 4 weeks of successful deliveries the commission will start: $80 a day, for ea. parcel shipped +$40 "averaging $4,000 monthly" according to their email. In an attempt to upload a copied PDFversion of their we browser employment contract, an error was flagged from including an image found in their contract. The error is as states:

okay so i applied to this job via indeed they got back with me pretty much i would receive packages inspect them then send them to he rightful owner of the ordered package. there wasn't a issue until I'm looking up the name and everything and nothing is coming up about them not even on this here site ScamPulse.com so before i fully start doing this job i want to make sure its legit and if its not i want it to be out there that its a scam so someone else wont supply them with their personal information address social and etc

Offering a scam job

I was offered a position as a shipping inspector, with a $4000 a month income, with no job application. There was a video sent to me that seemed legitimate. I was contacted by two email addresses, the ine previously reported and [email protected]. Both domain URLs do not lead to a website. I did not continue communication after the two emails, so I avoided sharing my personal information.

I was sent an email on June 14th to apply for a job I was a bit hesitant at first but then applied. I then officially started around June 27th. I was sent a necklace in which I provide a report with pictures and conditions of item and then received a label with wrong courier and I call the number to try to get it corrected in which they did answer. I have yet to receive the correct label and now when I reach out no one answers the phone.

The scammer sent me a package it was a necklace and I was suppose to drop it off at fedex which I did. The man I was communicating with through my online account name was Mr. Frank Stevens. Everything seemed to look legit, but Indeed removed them and flagged them and also warned people if they got contacted by the company. They tried to use my card a travel champs. I also have a receipt for the package that I dropped off at FedEx June 2nd. I received the package May 31st. I called the number over 32 times and out of all those times a man picked up twice and told me to be patient( because I haven’t been able to login for 13 days) also I set my account up for direct deposit and they gave my address and other infomation like they have my photo ID info.

I applied through a hiring company on indeed, I then filled out all information. I revised emails from [email protected] I started may 25th, I received packages inspected them and then printed off a prepaid label, I sent them on. No issues until the last couple of weeks. I have had 5 packages since June 5th and never provided any labels. Only supposed to hold them for 5 days. I now have 10 packages. My pay date was supposed to be 6/25 but since it is a Sunday I would get paid 6/26, I go to login to my account and I can’t. I have sent emails to that Andrew, emails to [email protected] and never got a response and the phone 1(888)531-2219 does nothing but ring busy.

This is what happen to me can’t get into my account and these people have a picture of me from my id

I was approached by Theresa Nowak stating she was an HR Manager for Amazon Prep Center through email. There were two other individuals one reaching out about the job as well, [email protected] and then my Supervisor Alex Sebak email [email protected] phone number 302-***-0009. I took the "job" and starting receiving packages some had my name on them and some did not. I would go pay to print off a shipping label and ship out the product. I had to take a picture of item, invoice if one and then take a picture of the package label receipt. Well I got a letter from FedEx that stated I owed $73 for customs. I guess the shipping wasn't enough. I text the Alex guy and he said they would take care of it. Well this went on for a month and I was supposed to have received pay and I text Alex and Theresa and that's when contact stopped. I just had a feeling after I got that letter and called Alex out on it. I do I have emails, pictures and the website for the application if needed. It will not let me upload anything here, so I can provide later!!! I hope no one else gets scammed and Joe my name and social and banking info aren't being used elsewhere by this awful scam.

I began working for this company remotely at the beginning of May and was to receive my first paycheck on June 2, 2023, then twice a month thereafter. They are no longer responding to my emails, my text, my calls, and my email through our system that we work through. I created a different email address to reach out as needing their FBA services using a different name just to see if I could get a response and the email returned that the email does not exist and I copied it straight from their site and paste it into the address to bar in the email so that there would be no errors. This is not cool as my bills and food on the table depended on that paycheck. These people need to be reported and stopped as it appears I have been scammed. They are an FBA center and I actually received packages to inspect, repackage, relabel, and send out to the buyers. One package included 8 Apple IPads brand new, in the branded boxes untouched. I need help in stopping these people. I have emails back and forth, and I have an Agreement signed between them and myself as well. I have lots I could upload but did not want my personal identifiable information posted to the public. Please contact me via telephone for any additional information needed.

Hello! Same thing happened to me. I didn't receive anything as valueble as ipads to ship out but they sent things so I thought it was legit. I stopped job hunting since April when they contacted me and now I'm mad because that time could've been spent looking for a real, non scammer job. It's sick that they're playing with the lives of average people just looking for some honest work.
