Claims to have closed my SS account due to suspicious activity; I hung up and did not speak to a real person, it was a computer-generated voice.

- Kernersville, NC, USA

I received 7 phone calls in the span of 5 and a half hours from 2 different phone numbers leaving a robotic voice message from the Social Security Administration. After the 5th call, I called back, called out the heavily accented man for being a scammer, he then told me he was going to shove bamboo in my lady parts, but in a more vulgar way, I told him to never call my house again, and hung up. They called again within the hour, I gave the phone to my husband, he called back saying he was a local police officer and he had been told by me that I had received a call from that number, and vulgar language had been used, to remove my number, then asked to speak to a supervisor, and was disconnected. The next time they called from a different number.

This caller left a message saying my social security number has been suspended due to suspicious activity. They had my wrong name on file (my maiden name), so I knew it had to be a scam.

I did not respond to the recorded message. They hung up when they received no response. This is the third call from the same number. Calls received on 3/11 3/14 and 3/18

He requested last four digits of social security number - I told him I do not give out that info. Asked him to give me the last four digits that he had and I would let him know if correct. Told me that was a breach of his protocol.Told him it was a breach of my personal protocol provide that info.
