Keep getting texts stating I won a amazon pod raffle. I new it was a scam, googled it and found many results, it's a phishing scam. Thought I should report the phone numbers at least.

They called and told me someone tried to use my account to purchase an iPhone 10s worth 780$ on my Amazon account. Which I don’t have one.

Picked up the phone because the number that came up was a local number, but it was an automated voice telling me that a recent purchase made on Amazon (in the amount of $300+) was being shipped. The voice then said that if there was no issue with this purchase it would simply be delivered. If not, it said, I could contact Amazon customer service... At this point, I hung up. Apologies if I should have gotten more info, but I can't imagine an automated "robo" voice to be the most trustworthy; that, and issues re: Amazon are discussed through email, not individual/personal phone calls. Thank you for your time and all you do to keep consumers safe - stay safe yourselves and have a nice day!

I have started receiving txt messages saying that I came in 2nd on today’s Amazon pods raffle.

I never entered any raffles from Amazon!

I did not open the text or click on the link. I deleted immediately.

First contact came from a text sent from and email somehow with just a link on Sunday, April 11th at 1:42AM. Then I received a text from a (469)559-3577 saying I won a Amazon raffle with a link.

This number called my business at least 5 times and finally I spoke with someone. The man, Harvey Miller, told me that he was from Amazon security and that someone had got my information and is trying to purchase an iPhone 11 for 599.99. He was asking me to go onto a website called anybesk.com to put in my Amazon information and he was going to go through the process of cancelling the order and then securing my amazon and bank account information. When I asked if he could tell me how to do this myself, he said that it was an hour long process and he needed to watch my computer while I did it. I proceeded to tell him he sounded like he was one of those scammers and he said that the Better Business Bureau was recording this call and that he couldn’t possibly be a scammer and hung up on me.

- Boise, ID, USA

Caller said that someone had accessed my Amazon account and ordered an I-Phone, so they put a hold on the account until I called them back, with a number they would provide.

I hung up and called Amazon from my account/phone and they reviewed my account and no one had accessed it or placed such an order, and that it was a Scam.

Did not open. Looked suspicious. Google it as possible scam. Found ScamPulse.com site.

I started to receive calls today around about 2 pm. the recording ask if you ordered anything from Amazon totaling $729.00. Is this your account and if not hold on someone will be with you shortly. After holding they ask if this is your account. I said no. Then he asked do you have a computer, Iphone, android, or do you have a car. All my answers was No. And I asked him what state are you calling from and he paused and said something like Washington and I asked another question and he hung up. They called from all numbers begining with 615873-8425-615873-1803-615-873-9252 -615-873-8425 -615-873-9232-615-873-6239-615873-2402. They are calling 25 to 30 times in an hour. Each time it rings and rings and leaving voice messages.
