I got a call from someone saying that they were from Medicare. That I had to give them my medicare number or SS number. I didn't give it to them. He threatened that I wouldn't get any more benefits and that I'd have to pay out of my pocket.

'Hi, I'm Nancy, your patient advocate.....we 've been trying to reach you. this is our last call or you won't be covered for this product' or something to that effect

I have received call after call after call from the same group. I have chosen 'add me to do not call number list'': i have been rude to them; i've been polite to them - none will give me the name of their company - they state i signed up on a website stating i have low back pain. I have done no such thing let alone not having any back pain. They will not stop calling me. I just hang up now when i hear 'hi, i'm nancy'

My mom received a call from a man asking if she was satisfied with medicare, and were they paying the claims as they should. After a little more talking he said he would get a representative on the line, a man came on and asked her basically the same questions, and also asked who had called her. The 2nd man said he had no idea who had called her or why. Mom thinks the 2nd person(rep) she actually talked to was from medicare. I doubt that the 2nd person was from medicare either.

Had my address. Asked if I had my new Medicare card. I said no but actually do. Wanted me to verify my medicare #. Told him would not do that over phone. He got agitated and said we need that. Told him I didn't believe him and hung up. He was foreign with heavy accent. Happened 3/25/2019.

I had been gone 4 days and when I came home there were 13 messages from Medicare telling me I needed a brace and if I did not respond, I would no longer receive Medicare.

A man with a foreign accent called at 8:30 on a Saturday morning claiming to be from Medicare, and asking about my back and knee pain. The person had an accent, possibly Asian (India, etc). He asked if I was (my name), and I asked "who is this"? He kept saying this is Medicare. He said I'd been having trouble and seen a doctor for back pain and knee pain. I did not confirm that. I asked him why he was calling from a local number? Then he tried to tell me that he was from Medicare's "Pain Department". I told him to give me Medicare's number and I would call Medicare. He kept talking over me, telling me he was from Medicare's Pain Department. I never confirmed my name, nor did I confirm any pain of any kind. I finally got ugly and yelled over him, and told him to never ever call me again, and that I was reporting him. I gave him no information whatever. I hung up.

A robo caller is aggressively targeting our home phone saying they have tried to contact us numerous time via mail and phone calls and that time is running out for eligibility for services... My older parents have received no such mailing from Medicare and these calls have been once a day all this week. This is causing overly undue stress on my already sick mother. The phone companies should be held more responsible for the service they provide to better protect our Senior Americans from these illegal types of activity.

I got three calls in one day from Medicare; they are robo calls. They wanted my medicare number. They tell me that I qualify for braces. They wouldn't tell me how they got my number.

A man speaking poor English calls my Elderly Client and tells her he is from Medi care and they need her to give them her info so he can bill her Dr Office for a knee brace. My Client declines and tells him she doeant walk and hangs up. The man called back immediately we did various things to discourage his repeated call backs after more the10 times. I answered an again asked him to stop harassing she is Ill and he was upsetting her. He said then she needs tell me her information. I hung up and We stopped answering The repeat calls are non stop until they irrate her. *** answers same man offers a back brace again at no cost says it's billed to the dr office. Now to place the order for that you have to coroporate and give me your information The same scenario plays out. It's been 3 hours and we have had dozens of calls from the man all ignored by us. A neighbors name came up when she answers it's the man on that line also. We have gotten calls all day from the same man.

I received a phone call offering me a "free brace for my chronic pain". I knew right away this was a scam, but selected the right options to talk to a real person. His name was Tyler, and he was asking me about where my pain was, and when it came time for the brace, he asked me for my medicare account number that is on my "red white and blue" card that I do not own because I am in my 20's... I accused the guy of causing the US Government BILLIONS of dollars of fraudulent claims and he just kept justifying it saying he probably makes more money than I do. They're ridiculous, and NEED to be shut down. 50% of my calls are robocalls anymore. Absolute pieces of trash.

Caller (yesterday, March 13, mid-afternoon Central Time), with a slight foreign accent, self-identified by name, "from Medicare such-and-such a unit") verified my name and asked my birth date, which I gave, and if I had arthritis, and when I said I did have mild arthritis, asked where, emphasizing back or shoulder? I said in my hands, but quite mild, currently. Caller solicited my medicare number and asked if I had additional insurance. Not thinking, I gave the number from my insurance card. I asked where the caller was located, and was told "Fairfax, Virginia". Caller gave his name, but I don't remember it. Offered a Medicare-covered wrist base and recorded my home address and email address, and said shipping was also covered, and it would be sent. Caller said his supervisor would give me a backup call to verify in one minute, so to hang up. I did, and a woman, also with a slight foreign accent, called and verified my shipping address, and I said the arthritis affecting my hand was quite mild, and I doubted I'd use a wrist brace if sent. So, she said it wouldn't be. I didn't suspect a scam until this morning (March 14). The caller's phone number, retrieved from Caller ID, was from St..Petersberg, Florida -727-369-8560

This number kept calling me at least 6 times a day. Finally I answered and asked sternly what they wanted. A man with a foreign accent said he wanted to talk to me and asked for my name and if I lived alone. When I said I didn't live alone he told me to hang on and then I hung up the phone.

"Nancy" called--it was a recorded call. I have hit "9" to get off the list but it doesn't do any good, they keep calling. They have been calling for a year.

We'd been receiving many calls from one particular 800 number, which we ignored. Feeling harassed after the 10th call, I answered to demand that we be put on the 'do not call' list. But instead of the expected robo-call, "Michael" introduced himself, implying he was calling from Medicare. Sounded like he may have been in another country. I was distracted and talked with him longer than I would normally. Additionally, one of the residents at the house recently received an updated Medicare card so I was trying to ascertain if this was connected. "Michael" said the old Medicare card would not be current as of March 1st and they needed to send the red, white and blue card. I asked several questions about the red, white and blue card. At one point "Michael" said, "are you being smart?" (meaning sarcastic). I told him this sounded fishy as we had not received any written notification of this. He confirmed the name and address and then asked for the medicare number on the card. His scam now evident, I asked for a phone number to call back and "Michael" hung up. I dialed back the number that was on the caller ID and it was for Direct TV. I do not think we have received any more calls since.
