retired from the government sooooo tired of getting calls that I'll be cut off from Medicare. I never answer an unknown number but it happens so often I'm ready to change my phone number. It would be a inconvenient for me to change my number. Can't somebody do something. I feel if important they would leave a message and _____ don"t they saying I will be dropped from Medicare if I don't respond. OH OK don't think so. Really bad people out there.

They called saying they were from medicare for children im 29 clearly not a child and wanted to update my madicare account and tried gettimg my ssn and other info.

I answered phone call. Chrissy said she was with Medicare and it was a recorded line and could I hear her. When I said yes she hung up.

They called at 10:34 on 9/4/19 and said " This is a Medicare agent on a recorded line, can you hear me? I stupidly said" Yes but if you want to sell me something I'm not interested " Didn't get a response so I stupidly called back and the recording asked several questions that required a yes answer to which I said "No"

Called and said they were "customer service with Medicare, can you hear me okay" I said, "I can hear you" and they hung up.

Asked if I could hear her okay. Once I replied I could they hung up. Called back and it was the same recorded voice asking if they I could hear them.

I sit with an elderly patient and these people have called 3 days in a row and told me to find the patients Medicare card and tell them the policy number so they can verify her because something in her planned changed. I informed them that I knew Medicare wouldn't call out of the blue and ask for that information. They are relentless.

The caller sounded like she was live, rather than recorded. She immediately said, "This is Grace, an account representative on a recorded line. Can you hear me okay? Unthinkingly, I answered yes, and then the call disconnected. I believe it is a scam to get a voice recording of me saying yes in order to use my voice assent for unauthorized purposes. There have been several reports of this type of scam, and I should have just hung up, as the FCC advises. I just wasn't thinking at that moment. This just happened, so I haven't incurred any losses yet.

Calling about free braces and this was the last call they'll do before you can benefit from the braces. Unfortunately this has occurred more than once and at my place of work. They call the work telephone I stayed on the line and they asked if I was someone can't spell the last name I said no and they quickly hung up. It was a female caller.

I got a call last night and again today from a foreigner pretending to be Medicare. He asked for me social security number, which I gave him. He said he would send a new card within five days.

I received a call stating they were from Medicare stating that was approved for a brace and it was free but all I had to do is verify my name, give my medicare # and they could have this brace delivered.

These people call EVERYDAY. Two # used 478-207-6083 and 478-207-5676. There is an automated call initially stating "this is Nancy, calling you as a Medicare Advocate." If you want to speak with a person press 1 and there are other options. Then it says if you wish not to receive these calls press 9. I press 9 and they continue to come in. Just stop them!!

About 3 times a day I get a phone call from the above number ( and 2 others) on my cell phone ( and sometimes my landline) regarding my alleged upcoming birthday in January ( which is not my birth month) and medicare/ health coverage . When I asked where did the info come from, the response is a hang up. I also tried to dial the number back and got a recording not a working number. I haven't given them any info at all. I do know it is a scam of some sort and I usually don't even answer, but it is getting very annoying. I have told them do not call again.

Had a call from a guy with an accent who claimed to be from Medicare. He was offering to send a free test for cancer. He had my address and seemed to know my family health history. I told him I didn't need it and hung up.

Told me he was Medicare and he had my new number card and he just needed name and social security number. To send me my stuff.

The scammer called me. I believe his accent was Indian. He had my full name, address, and birth date. He asked me to confirm each. I did. He said he was updating my Medicare files to be certain I received all my benefits. He then asked for my Medicare card number. Of course I refused. He persisted. Eventually he realized I was never going to give him the number and hung up.

The phone rang I said hello and then a voice said hi this is Rebecca what's your name but I said don't you know she said she was Rebecca from Medicare and she was trying to save me money then she asked are you over 64 and I said maybe maybe not she said I'm just asking you a simple question are you over 64 and I said yes Then she went on to talk about prescriptions and medical care and she said I'm gonna transfer you to our agent who can help you… Before she transferred me she asked me how's the weather there… And I said hot… Then I was… Transferred to a static sounding line I heard a man ask me a question with an Indian accent and I said I'm not answering anything you may be a scammer and then they hung up

We keep getting calls from different numbers from people claiming to be from Medicare offering a free knee and back brace. I told my Mom to hang up before She gave out any info to them, now they will not stop calling. They start at 6:30 am daily and we're tired of the phone ringing non-stop.
