The ad on Instagram was for clothing; I placed the order on 12/31/2023. Almost immediately I received a confirmation from Housshold in the amount of $70.80.

Today I received an email updating me on the status. The only change was my order was in processing. I decided to look at my PayPal account for the charge. I found the charge to Banbain Trade Co., Limited for $84.96 on 12/31/2023; even though my order had not shipped and is as I said before in processing. I have attempted to contact [email protected] several times. The reply is always the same: "Thank you for your email. Please click [contact seller] to consult your question", even though they are the contact seller. I feel foolish for ordering from an Asian company as they seem to use a myriad of company names leaving the consumer without a way to contact the company for a refund.

I used this site thinking this was jewelry online I purchased online since I had no vehicle and for a birthday. kept the runaround with tracking and such saying it was being delievered then couldnt find it then the product not even showing up . said it would refund but never did said the product would be sent it never was .

- Greenbelt, MD, USA

Placed the order and the shop texted me to pay via Cashapp when I indicated I’d rather pay via Zelle as noted on their website. I went thru with the order and the shipping company, Global Prime Shippers, reached out for me to pay a refundable $200 insurance fee for my package to be delivered. That’s not stated on PDCS’s website and in convo with the shop, they let loose they also own the shipping company. Massive scam.

- North Richland Hills, TX, USA

Did not recieve item in time. Called number online says not in service. Sent email notification and website inquiries with no response about the item and no tracking number. Tracking number finder on their website is down. Attempte to reach for a refund with no response.

- Rocky Point, NY, USA

Purchased a travel bag from site via Facebook. It’s defective. Been trying to get them to respond to my emails since Dec 26, 2023. No phone, no address, no customer service. Selling garbage and then the consumer has no recourse.

- Winchester, VA, USA

The website said Jim Shore items going out of business. I ordered one item on November 7, 2023, never received. Contacted vendor they had tracking number that it was delivered. Tracking number was fake.

- Rockville, MD, USA

I ordered a beautiful cat sweater from this site. What I received was a cheap, shiny polyester sweatshirt. I contacted them immediately asking for an exchange, and an exchange was not possible for some reason?? First they offered me a 30% discount on my next order and I said no way, I'm not ordering anything again until this is resolved. Well, now, over two months later, "support" has been allegedly contacting the refund department and they have been unable to give me a refund - again, no reason was given. This is a total scam website and I want to ensure others do not fall into this ridiculousness! Thank you so much! *****

I bought a "Cat Scratching Post Cat Christmas Pine Tree" from this website. It promised shipping within 10-15 days. After 15 days, I had no update, so I emailed the support email (which looked to be an Outlook email address... odd). The next day, I got an email about tracking info for the product. It has remained unchanged as "Info Received" from Yanwen shipping. Never got the item and reported it to my credit card company. DO NOT USE!

- Riverside, CA, USA

Now that I think about it this company didn't ask for my email just my address and payment info. I went to health-spark online to buy a EMS foot massager . When I finished paying there was no successful payment received no order number. Days went by I did here anything from them, so I contacted them and asked about my order. They replied you have no record of a order. When I emailed them back I told them that they say say I have no order, I told them I have a record my credit card statement where the money was taken out from health-spark. To justify the money they took from me they ask for a order number that was never given to me.

- Philadelphia, PA, USA

I paid for a 6 month supply and only received one month. I forgot about the produce after not receiving it and was sent an email that I would be charged for the next 6 month supply. I requested the other 5 months of the produce or my money back and they wouldn't give me either.

- Dallas, TX, USA

I submitted an order for an E-bike via the website provided and have not received the product. When attempts have been made to contact the company they have failed. Both the email address and phone number contact for customer support are fraudulent.

I have Emailed and contacted multiple times about a item I ordered in October and there has been nothing said and all the comment sections on social media all say that people were scammed and never received there package or a message reply from them

- Arlington, VA, USA

The merchant keeps telling me the product was made in Germany, but it was made in China. The first tracking number was in Chinese and showed it was somewhere in Guangdong China. I asked for return because the size was not right and there was fake advertisement. The email reply from the scammer says that I have to pay for the return delivery cost and the address is in Germany, and suggests using over $50 delivery service plus at least $20 insurance. This would cost me more than the jacket I bought and their email shows that there would be no guarantee to get my refund.

Saw an ad on Facebook for watches that you can place an AirTag in. I ordered three as they were for Christmas. I also paid for priority shipping.

I reached out to the company when I did not receive my items. After a few days I got an email that there had been a fire at the warehouse and they would be late with shipping.

I requested a refund as I never received the product and it was now after Christmas. I had to find last minute gifts. I have gotten emails back stating it was on its way and that they would refund 20% which I again asked for a full refund including the costs of priority shipping.

I got the same emails over and over. Once I said I would be contacting my back now they are saying the item has been shipped and they cannot refund me anything.

I started researching the web and there are several articles including a YouTube video talking about the “warehouse fire scam email” and how people never get their merchandise.

Again, i reached out to my back and cancelled my card and am waiting for a new card. They told me that I may not be given my money back that it maybe a loss since I knowingly made the purchase.

The scammers have my name, address, and they had my debit card number.

I got another email this morning saying that the product was shipped and they said I can return their product if I want once received but that’s coming with a 20% restocking fee.

I found this brand online Vamp’d forever, they specialize mostly in beanies. I ordered 3 beanies from them on Nov 22. On the description of items it says they’ll process in 15-25 business days. It’s been longer than that. I’ve contacted merchant n brand owner multiple times thru emails n instagram dm, and no response at all.

I placed an order on the website www.invocy.com on December 14. I received an order confirmation email with a link to a tracking number (YT2334921236064388). The site the tracking link took me to (*******************************************************) never updated or provided information beyond "shipment information received).

December 22 - I emailed the company requesting information about my order and that the tracking information was not working. The company responded that the order was in transit and would be delivered within the processing time stated on the website (up to 17 days).

January 3- I emailed the company to follow up saying my order had not arrived and when I go to the tracking link provided and click "request latest" it says the tracking number does not exist. I requested a refund. The company responded on the same day that they would check with their fulfillment team and provide an update.

January 4- No update provided by the company. I emailed to say I had not received a response or my order. I repeated my request for a refund.

January 5- Company responded that the order was in transit and to bear with them. I replied "Verify that my order is in transit. The tracking information provided by your company does not exist. If I do not receive my order, reliable verification it is en route, or a full refund within 24 hours I will file a report with the Federal Trade Commission and Better Business Bureau and a dispute of charges with my credit card company."

January 6- After more than 27 hours from my email, I have received no response (and no product).

While I do not expect that I will recoup my money, I do hope this helps other consumers avoid a similar problem. Thank you.

I placed an online order about a month ago and it was

checked out using PayPal , I had to cancel the order and the seller assured me I would get a refund within 2 weeks , 2 weeks came and nothing then they said o. The 1st of January , that came and went and nothing , I reached out again and the response I got was “ if you are in a hurry file a dispute” but now he is refusing so I’m trying to see what I can do

- Lovettsville, VA, USA

Reels ad with Gordon Ramsey saying there was a packaging error on pan sets from HexClad that they could not sell in stores. Clicking the link would take you to site to win one of the limited sets of HexClad. Only had to pay shipping

- Post Falls, ID, USA

They advertised their product (foot pain patch) as $14.95 for one order, plus $6 shipping. They attempted to charge my Visa card for $61 for FOUR orders. I immediately blocked my Visa card. I went on their website and checked feedback from customers, they were all very negative, accusing Bandoo of over-charging them for their orders...exactly the same way I had just been over-charged. When you go to their web site and try to "cancel" your order immediately, you can fill out the form, but it never loads so you can't complete the cancellation. It also says that they ship out the orders "immediately".
