I purchased a walk a wedding dress online from Doris wedding

- Brooklyn, NY, USA • Sep 22, 2023

The two products I ordered were shockingly bad quality and not effective at all. They seem fake, dirt cheap, and not at all in alignment with how they seemed online. I tried on one of the two garments for quite literally five seconds before removing it and putting it back in its original bag, with tags still attached. I did not even open the second bag. I tried to request a return for refund and have been met with unclear responses, the company reiterating their return policy multiple times implying that I was not eligible even though I very clearly was, then almost threatening that their warehouse could decide to decline the return anyway if it looks worn when they receive it. They repeatedly tried to haggle a partial refund amount, trying to entice me to keep the items. They offered 25%, “30%-35%”, and “50%-55%” and refused to just let me return for the full refund. When I kept refusing, they said sorry but their refund policy doesn’t cover “mistakes made by the customer”, implying that I ordered the wrong products or something. I have been arguing with them via email for days and finally got them to issue a refund but it is only 85% of the cost I paid. They claim they cannot refund the rest which is for “shipping insurance fee” and “merchant fee”. I am still arguing with them and have filed a claim with my bank. Additionally, the product page only has exclusively 4 and 5 star reviews, so it is clear they are fraudulently manipulating reviews on their website. It is impossible that not one person of hundreds was dissatisfied with these ridiculously poor quality garments. Furthermore, the company’s social media account posts all have dozens and dozens of the exact same few comments. It is clear they are mass commenting these few positive phrases using bots or something to fraudulently boost their reputation. This business should be shut down immediately!

The vendor, Hoka One One, advertised on social media selling Hoka footwear at a sale price. After placing the order and waiting two weeks and hearing nothing I emailed the email address supplied ( [email protected]) with the confirmation email. I have never gotten a response. The website accessed via a link in the confirmation email always shows a "Shop is closed" notification. There is no phone number available to the consumer.

Please see the attached email thread with communication from the supposed representative. This person advertises a deal for "buy 2, get 2 free" chairs online. When an order is placed, they send a small envelope from somewhere in China to generate a legitimate tracking history. Then, they report that the the chairs were delivered and use the tracking history as evidence. No chairs were ever delivered.

They are still advertising the same del using different domains, and I imagine they've been doing this for a while. I really have no recourse, but thought I'd report them anyway.

Emailed again last week heard nothing. Went to check on my order and the website can no longer be found. See attached images

Found online via Facebook about selling Dooney and a bourke for cheap. I knew they were knock off bags, but again, I went by the reviews online and people said they got their merchandise with no issues. Placed my order and never received work about when it was shipping. The business said 3-5 days shipping time and I’m writing this 3 weeks after placing my order.

Ad delivered through Instagram, advertising Clark's (brand) boots. Once payment made using credit card, confirmation email did not reference Clark's. Visit to the website yielded no information. Email to "contact" in confirmation email yielded a reply to "Dear Friend" stating that there was never any reference to Clark's on the actual order, and therefore there will be no "Clark's" on the confirmation:

Dear Friend:

Hello, thank you for your letter, we did not state inside the detail page of this boot that it was made by Clark's, so you will not see Clark's listed as the brand of the boot in your order confirmation.

We wish you a happy life!

It’s a scam website so anybody can access it to purchase children’s clothing. It was actually advertised on Facebook, targeting many people. I then purchased a sweater for my child only to realize it was a fraudulent website. The tactics were clothing, sale clothing and having and owning and fraudulent website.

The Portabl Monitor Company advertised a Tri-color screen (BHC-GHMMS-197) for $566.18. Everytime we asked about the order we got the runaround from their Customer Support Team, never received the item or a refund. The Company was notified that the the order was no longer needed since the monitor was supposed to be used during the pandemic and now we are back to work. Mind you during the time it was supposed to get shipped it was never sent out, there was no communication or anything in reference to the delay/refund. We have notified them in writing we were not happy about it but it still does not seem to do anything. A refund is all that is needed and its seems that they do want to refund the money back. Its false advertising and bad business.

In early June, 2023, I received an email from the American Dental Association (ADA) Vendor Showcase about a paid advertiser, Overstocker, who was selling, among other dental equipment, a 3Shape TRIOS 3 Digital Scanner. I checked online about the company, and with the ad coming from the ADA, I felt comfortable ordering this typically $14000. scanner for $1999 on June 21, 2023. They said it would ship in 9-14 weeks due to it being part of a bankruptcy sale. I tried calling. The recording said that they are in Central time and to call back. I tried calling again during their hours, but this time it said I needed to send an email. On August 8, I sent an email asking for an update to my order. On Aug 9, I got a reply that my order was to ship on Aug 29. They offered a refund if that did not work out. I replied that I would wait. On Sept 6, I emailed asking for a tracking number for my order. Later that day I received a reply that my question would be answered in 24-36 business hours. It has been over 36 business hours and I have not had any reply. I sent another email today and within minutes, I got the same reply of waiting 24-36 business hours.

The ADA today issued a notice that they terminated their ad contract with Ostocker due to numerous complaints concerning poor or no customer service and unfilled orders. They advised contacting this site to file a complaint and contacting the credit card company that was used, which I have done.

I ordered 3 items upon signing up to get emails from this company. The items were discounted due to signing up for the first time. I ordered the item June 27, 2023. I informed the company that I did not receive my items and received a scarf instead. A representative asked if I would like a refund or the items resend with no cost to me. I asked for the the items to be resend. I was told that it would take 15-20 days for me to receive my order. It has now been a month and I have not received my items. I informed the representative that I did not received my items and have not gotten a reply. All of my contact with this company has been via email.

I’ve requested a refund because the product took extremely long to ship they responded with a confirmation that a reduced was being processed but I haven’t received nor have they responded to any of my follow up emails. I’ve reached out to Klarna for further assistance but they haven’t responded to them yet so this is my next step and hopefully you can help me.
