I ordered 2 shirts from the website. They drafted my account under the name "Linguatimes Almaty". Original description "OL&ADD*Linguatimes ALMATY". I did not receive the shirts. I did not receive an order confirmation email. I used their web form to "ASK A QUESTION" three times but have not received a response.

Merchant Wiingnight (wiingnight.com) maintains a pseudo-U.S. website but operates out of China as Yunnan Minxing Trading Company. ([email protected]). .The merchant's website claimed to offer a full refund but when a refund was requested the merchant claimed that the merchandise would need to be received at the China location (which not only took close to a month to receive but would incur additional shipping charges) before a full refund would be issued. This was in stark contrast to the original U.S. mailing address used to send the merchandise to me. The merchant also charged an additional international transaction fee which was not disclosed or included in the costs on the website.

As the consumer, I was given the option to avoid paying the international shipping fees by keeping the items (which were clearly inferior and cheaply made) in lieu of a 30-50% discount on the original purchase price. Between the loss of money from the merchant and the charges incurred by PayPal (to verify the merchant's identity) I was out-of-pocket $35-$50. I strongly urge any future customers to purchase from the above merchants as they are dishonest and not a credible business.

I ordered 2 dress's and two pairs of earrings from a site called Weraire. I orginally seen their items on Facebook. I got a email saying my items were delivered but I never got them. I have emails exchanged saying they were checking where my stuff went. I went to send them a email today and there is no email anymore.

- Shrub Oak, NY, USA

Was a low priced cookware set promised delivery for 9.99. Later determined that there is a 66.00 monthly subscription to maintain the service. Original product was never delivered.

- Red Lion, PA, USA

I was using social media when an advertisement for a fenced raised garden bed showed up in my feed. I went to the website, Quodeci.com and was given a "buy one, get one free" deal. I complete my purchase and within a day or so, received a tracking number. It showed my "item" in California. A week later, I received a notification that the item was "delivered" to an address that was not mine, nor was it near my home. I immediately contacted Quodeci and went back and forth about "checking with my neighbors" about the package. Next, I was told they would ship another to me. I asked for a tracking number and was told it would come, which it never did. Next, I was told that they would refund me 40% of my original purchase and I should purchase another. I declined. Today they offered to refund me 60% of my original purchase and I should purchase another. Again, I declined. They have no phone number available, just the email [email protected].

- Reston, VA, USA

Purchased a dress online through the Geymy website, that was advertised on Facebook on May 14, 2023. No phone number provided. Only an email and they kept saying it was being prepared. For 10 days. Cancelled my order and now waiting for refund.

- Doylestown, PA, USA

Have any questions or feedback ? contact us at [email protected]. I have emailed twice with no response. Please assist so that no-one else is scammed. They advertised on yahoo.

- Fleetwood, PA, USA

They were selling greeting cards that opened to bouquets of flowers. I clicked on it from FACEBOOK and ordered the cards entering my name address and debit card information.

- Rockaway, NJ, USA

On Facebook, I saw an opportunity to win an 11 piece Enameled Cast Iron $9.96 from Kohls. I used my credit card to make the purchase, but instead of being charged $9.96 for the offer, I was charged $6.95 for an eBook. I called them to complain. They first offered only 20% of my money back. I made them refund the entire amount. I saw the refund in pending status on my credit card on Friday, May 19, 2023. I checked my credit card today, Monday, May 22, 2023 and the refund is not showing anymore. I have already disputed the charge. Buying beware! I should have known but when an offer seems too good to be true, its usually a scam.

- Kalamazoo, MI, USA

Ad on Facebook offered Holka shoes for $59.99 in April 2023. Received some really ugly unknown knock off brand of shoes that were not in my size. Sent emails to try to fix situation only to receive no reply.

- Havertown, PA, USA

The scam attempts to give away items worth “$1000” for free, the “winner” only pays shipping. First contact information and shipping address are requested, then credit card information to pay for shipping. Because entering the actual credit card information (rather than Apple Pay for instance) I did not move for further

- Bristol, PA, USA

This company claims to make swimwear that will not leave harsh tan lines, but is also not see-through. These claims are 100% incorrect. On their website they do not state a phone number to contact them, and they do not leave any information about where the return address is - but returns are at the customer's cost.
Upon placing my order, I received a tracking number that says it was shipped from Des Plaines, Illinois (Tracking number: ********************** via USPS). I received the package and when trying it on, realized you can see right through the bathing suit, and that their advertisements and claims were false. I then reached out to the company hoping to return it for a refund. They let me know that it is their policy to only give store credit if you use a promo code (which I did use - from one of their advertisements that claims the item is not see through). I let them know I don't want anything else from this store, as they are falsely advertising online. They let me know they are willing to accept my return for a full refund and that the return address is in...Bulgaria?
The cost to return these goods was estimated at $160 across all options to ship to the company. This company is a scam, offering false advertisements about their goods, and then wants you to spend more than the cost of the item, to return it back to them. They state nowhere where the return address is on their website and are taking advantage by not supplying this critical information on their website.

Limited time clearance sale.

Mother’s Day special

- Brooklyn, NY, USA

I went on line to buy the keto gummie for 39plus it was a package deal

I used my card and when i check the email for conformation they took 199plus

I called to cancel purchase they said i could but they would give back a 100 and the rest when i receive the product

When i check with the bank they put back 100 but without my knowledge or permission took an additional 59plus from my account i called them on and inform them that they basically stole from my account they gave me the runaround and said they can put back 30 dollars and the rest when i return the additional bottles they said go with my order

I told them i did not order it or ask for it and they have no right to go into my account without my knowledge

I told them to refund the 59plus

Because while they can say i made a purchase with the first even though i purchase a 39plus package i did not purchase anything else

I've since close the account the bank knows as well all this took place on the 18 of this month around 1pm and the phone calls to them and the bank was made within an hour

Placed an online order and never received the product. Sent multiple emails. Same response - wait for product, cannot cancel order. Still waiting for product, over 2 months. Saw many other people had the same problem with this website after further research on facebook.

- Coatesville, PA, USA

Socal influencers promoted this company, couldn’t find bad reviews so I thought I would try the product. After placing the order they said there has been a surge in orders and it would be delayed. It’s now been a month and a half they have not sent product and refuse to send a refund.
