I ordered 2 dresses for 80.47$. What I received 3 weeks later is a plastic bag with 5 plastic measuring tapes inside, probably 1$ cost of goods. So this is a SCAM scheme that works like this: you place an order, they provide you with a tracking number, you and most importantly the company that is processing the payment are receiving notifications about your package tracking history, so it looks legit and it appears that they did send you the package because the shipping company is sending you updates. In my case the trucking was showing that the package was coming from Italy, when it actually came it was from California. So this is a way to convince PayPal for example that they are legit, because PayPal is processing payments for new companies ( like this one) after approximately 21 days. That's why this as/ols are taking this long to deliver the package, bogus trucking from Italy that supposedly takes more than 3 weeks to arrive. In reality 3 weeks later they will just send you a bag of trash from California.

I was playing a game on Facebook. Ad popped up. I ordered some clothes. Waited 1 month. Never received anything. Told them I want a refund. They said they would reship. Waited another month.never received anything. Told them I want a refund. They said they would reship. I said issue me a refund..they said okay but we can not refund $13 for shipping. I said I am not paying shipping cost for something that I never received. This is where I am now. Any advice would be appreciated but I wanted to get this fraudulent international company's name on someone's radar. Please do not share my information with telemarketing.

I ordered a dress from Geymy.com. It arrived after a couple of weeks and it is very poor quality. It looks nothing like the picture on we site. It also is defective as it has a line going through the waistline.

I contacted them saying it was defective and poor quality and I wanted to return the dress and get my money back. They responded by email saying I could keep the dress and refund me $16. I said no, I want to return it for full refund as their website says if product is defective you can return it. They responded saying they would refund me $25. I said no again, I expect full refund and I have heard nothing back.

There was an ad that was on. Facebook advertising a one day sale involving Stanley 40 ounce tumbler for a special price. The ad also had a Dicks Sporting Goods logo in the background. I jumped at it because I saw that Dicks logo, but then after I placed my order I never really received a proper verification email. When I finally did receive tracking information it was from a shipping company I never heard of and it was in Asian. When it finally started to track in US it was shipped from New York to Florida. Now checking today it says it was delivered to someone in Florida.

Merchant Wiingnight (wiingnight.com) maintains a pseudo-U.S. website but operates out of China as Yunnan Minxing Trading Company. ([email protected]). .The merchant's website claimed to offer a full refund but when a refund was requested the merchant claimed that the merchandise would need to be received at the China location (which not only took close to a month to receive but would incur additional shipping charges) before a full refund would be issued. This was in stark contrast to the original U.S. mailing address used to send the merchandise to me. The merchant also charged an additional international transaction fee which was not disclosed or included in the costs on the website.

As the consumer, I was given the option to avoid paying the international shipping fees by keeping the items (which were clearly inferior and cheaply made) in lieu of a 30-50% discount on the original purchase price. Between the loss of money from the merchant and the charges incurred by PayPal (to verify the merchant's identity) I was out-of-pocket $35-$50. I strongly urge any future customers to purchase from the above merchants as they are dishonest and not a credible business.

I was using social media when an advertisement for a fenced raised garden bed showed up in my feed. I went to the website, Quodeci.com and was given a "buy one, get one free" deal. I complete my purchase and within a day or so, received a tracking number. It showed my "item" in California. A week later, I received a notification that the item was "delivered" to an address that was not mine, nor was it near my home. I immediately contacted Quodeci and went back and forth about "checking with my neighbors" about the package. Next, I was told they would ship another to me. I asked for a tracking number and was told it would come, which it never did. Next, I was told that they would refund me 40% of my original purchase and I should purchase another. I declined. Today they offered to refund me 60% of my original purchase and I should purchase another. Again, I declined. They have no phone number available, just the email [email protected].

- Rockaway, NJ, USA

On Facebook, I saw an opportunity to win an 11 piece Enameled Cast Iron $9.96 from Kohls. I used my credit card to make the purchase, but instead of being charged $9.96 for the offer, I was charged $6.95 for an eBook. I called them to complain. They first offered only 20% of my money back. I made them refund the entire amount. I saw the refund in pending status on my credit card on Friday, May 19, 2023. I checked my credit card today, Monday, May 22, 2023 and the refund is not showing anymore. I have already disputed the charge. Buying beware! I should have known but when an offer seems too good to be true, its usually a scam.
