- Tucson, AZ, USA

I have gotten several calls from this location the above # in one that a Mr. Carl Hyden gave me but the number on my ID was 876-597-7058. He claims I have won $2.5 Million Dollars and an additional prize of a car, or vacation, or cash to a credit card. He has called several times, and I keep blocking his number but he seems to check his phone number by a the last two digits.

I will not fall for this, but many people will when they hear Publishers Clearing house.

I have report the various numbers to Do Not Call, but that has never stopped anything.

His name was Robert Newman. He had an accent. They said that I won PCH money and that I needed to give them $200 to pay the difference of it or something like that. They then asked about my bank. They the ngave me a bunch of numbers. One is *** and they said that I won 2 cars too.

Caller claiming to be "Linda Gates" from Publisher's Clearing House left voice message while we were away. Said it was urgent that we call to claim our prize. We were skeptical but called anyway. Once my husband, XXXXX, said the word "Yes", the person hung up.

We have just learned that this is a new scam where they record your voice saying "Yes"...and along with your phone number can make purchases in your name.

The two phone numbers that "Linda" Gates" left on the voice mail were 865-268-8135 and 876-853-7462. We called the 865 area code number.

- La Junta, CO, USA

Caller claimed to be Ralph Johnson with a very thick accent. He claimed that I was a second place winner for publishers clearing house and that I had not only one 7000 a week for life but a Mercedes and $537000.00 cashieres check. He said that it was not a scam and they were at the airport waiting to make sure I was home. All I had to to was call the number back and he would go over further I formation. I looked up the number and only thing you can find is in Chinese.

- Etowah, TN, USA

They call from the number I gave above & ask if I saw it on my caller ID. Then say they want to know if I'll be home tomorrow to accept the Mega Millon prize along with a car then they need to ask a few questions to verify me... Do I shop at Dollar General, WalMart, Walgreens, Kmart,&Target. When did I last shop there with my credit/ debit card. Also ask if I'm married, who & how many people I live with, my age, & where I work. They keep calling & give a fake business liscense as well.

- Alma, GA, USA

Caller stated I had won 2.5 million dollars that would be delivered today to my home. Asked if my name was correct I stated yes and then he hung up.

- Asheville, NC, USA

This person called and said I had won $18 million and a new car. He kept repeating that he worked for a legitimate company and that this was not a scam. I said I was skeptical and he said he would deliver the money. He called me Sweetheart and I asked him not to do so. He gave me a confirmation number and then asked me to repeat it. He then asked me if I was a legal resident and I told him I was not going to give out any personal information unless I knew this was a real company and offer. He then used vulgar language to describe what he would do to me. I hung up. He called back and my husband told him that we were going to call the BBB and hung up. The man called back 4 or 5 more times but I did not answer. I knew this was a scam call but this was the second time in a month that I received one like this and I was frustrated by it. I wanted to find out what they did and let him know that I did not believe him/them.

- Smyrna Mills, ME, USA

Caller indicated he was from 'Publisher Clearing House" and that i had won. Wanted bank account details.

A friend of ours received a phone call on her land line from a party claiming to be Publisher's Clearing House telling her that she had won a large prize.

She was told that, in order to claim her money, she needed to send them $1900. Fortunately, she had to contact her financial advisor to transfer funds and they told her that this was a scam.

She provided the very scanty details she had obtained to the Attorney General's office.

Don't know how common this is, but she certainly would have been taken if she had the funds in her account.

Someone called me up claiming to be publishers clearing house. They said that I won a car and a ton of money. After I called them out on being a scam they hung up on me.

The caller said I have won the publishers clearinghouse prise all I have to do is pay the taxes, they will pay 99% of the taxes I just have to pay the rest. They said they would be to my house tomorrow with the check if I pay them today.

I received a call on my cell phone on Friday Jan. 20, 2017 from David King who stated that I had won a Publisher's Clearing House prize for $2.5 Million dollars and a Mercedes Auto. When I tried to gain more info, he told me that his business was closing for the day and asked me to call back the next day. I tried to contact him the next morning he answered, but, said he was on another line and would call me back later. He never did. I assumed it was a scam.

I did a Google Chrome request to find out what part of the country call area code 876 was from, and the answer was Jamaica. I then asked what scams were tied to Jamaica and ones similar to mine were listed.

They call say they are from publishers clearing house are coming to your door and then ask you to get a moneygram for 255.00 to give to them... They lie you when you tell them you are calling publishers clearing house to verify they hang up

I was told that I won a car and a bunch of money, I just needed to set up a new bank account so that they could deposit me $5,000 in that account. When I told the guy I wasn't giving him any info until I spoke to the ScamPulse.com he said "Don't do that, they'll tell you it is a scam"
